She's short, with a round face that's covered in freckles and a massive mane of straight red hair, which she usually ties in some form of pony tail. She is of average weight for a woman of her stature, but tends to lean more towards being overweight than underweight, and has bright green eyes. She usually wears "old people" clothes (hipster stuff really). The kinds of things a stereotypical european grandmother might wear. ❥ｐｅｒｓｏｎａｌｉｔｙ: Verne isn't lazy, just... sleepy. A generally good natured and amiable soul, she gets grumpy unless she has around thirteen hours of sleep a day. Also, she's very possessive of "her" library, and quite touchy when it comes to how the students handle the books. Outside of the library, she is fairly laid back and relaxed, albeit a bit prideful, and extremely clumsy. This means that she often does incredibly embarrassing things, and then acts like she meant to do them all along. ❥ｃｈａｒａｃｔｅｒ ｆｌａｗｓ: ✖Clumsy - She has to wear laceless shoes to prevent herself from tripping... it's bad.
✖ Prideful - She hates for people to think her a fool, so she will usually only ask for help as a last resort
✖ Phonophobic - she has a fear of loud noises
✖ Drowsy - Verne has the ability to fall asleep anywhere, and oftentimes does.
✖ Mild Cynophobia - She is terrified of any dog larger than a welsh corgie. ❥ e l e m e n t : Nature ❥ r a n k : Witch ❥ａｂｉｌｉｔｙ:
Animal Companion - this spell, once successfully cast, gives the user a single animal companion that will stay by their side and is able to understand simple Human speech. Though the animal retains animal (not Human!) intelligence, it can understand speech via a sort of empathic link with the caster (so the animal and caster can also share thoughts/emotions through this link). Human and animal will be linked for the duration of the companion's life and the spell can only be recast if the bond is severed by the companion's death.
Animal Speech - allows user to communicate with animals via a sort of picture and emotive telepathy. Animals retain animal intelligence (not Human level intelligence and dangerous animals would not be suddenly friendly) but are are able to communicate simple messages the caster the same way they would communicate with other animals. Lasts for around 10 minutes before fading.
Leaf Blade - user summons a flurry of leaves from nearby plants, moving at high enough speeds to cause minor cuts and lacerations on close range targets. Only works in places where there are plants with leaves.
Intelligence - this ability temporarily bestow Human level intelligence and understanding on nearby animals within a 15 ft area around the caster. Effect lasts for 10 minutes, during which animals are able to communicate (via telepathic link) with the spell caster.
Thorn - User is able to summon thorny vines from the ground. Can either use these vines to restrain anyone within a 25ft radius, or can create impassable barriers of thorns and vines. Vines will deteriorate and crumble away within 15-20 minutes.

Japanese, german, spanish, latin, mandarin) ❥ｂｉｏ: Once upon a time, there was a large and powerful family of wizards, renowned for their incredible prowess in the magical arts and their love of cats. Each child born to this family was absolutely exceptional, prodige's in their own specific elements, with buckets and buckets of natural talents, from singing, or playing violin, to many kinds of sports... and then came Verne. She was the final child born to this family... and she was a bit... different. For one, she wasn't exactly the most adept when it came to magical ability. As a matter of fact, she was fairly average when it came to her affinity. Of course, in a family like hers, this was seen as almost being unable to cast magic at all. Because of this, Verne trained incredibly hard with her magics, never quite obtaining the natural skill of her "superior" siblings, but becoming a quite adept magic user in her own right.
Another way in which she was different was the fact that she had no physical prowess... at all. In fact, she had to wear velcro sneakers until high school to prevent herself from tripping on her own, untied shoelaces. That's not even mentioning the fact that she would much rather sleep under a tree than climb it. Unable to follow in her sibling's footsteps (and legend) she turned her attention to something that didn't require much physical effort: Reading. She immersed herself in books, tomes, scrolls, anything with a good story (or without one... but preferably with one). She studied English literature in college, but also learned how to read in several different languages. After school, she managed to land the fairly comfortable position of librarian at the Resonance skies academy, possibly in part due to her impressive family pedigree, and possibly in part because she claimed she could memorize every book that the school had on file... She has.

It's a good way to placate her when she's forcefully upset, but of course, you have to find out about it first. Verne has a bit of a shopping habit, albeit a rather abnormal one. If she sees a complete matching set on a book series, she is compelled to buy it. She has quite a decent collection of the Lord of the Rings Series (some including the other books, some not.)

• Sound Blast - user is able to use create intense sound waves capable of creating small explosions within a few feet of the caster. Explosions are powerful enough to crack glass or other fragiles, or knock back an opponent, but don't do much damage otherwise.
• Soothe - using music to artificially calm raging emotions in a target; also speeds up regeneration and healing for the duration of the music. Can only be used to heal very minor injuries. Does not mend broken bones or heal anything more serious than minor cuts.
• Absolute Silence - as the name indicates, this spell eradicates all sound within a 10 ft radius. No sound waves enter or originate in this area while this spell is in effect; sound is completely impossible. Good for calming chaotic situations but may have other creative uses such as stealth, etc. Effects last 10 minutes or until caster cancels spell. ❥ｔａｌｅｎｔｓ:
• Playing the violin - Yukiharu was taught on how to play the violin by one of her relatives and she enjoyed playing the instrument. Yuki's mastery over the violin was at the level of a professional and was recognized by Resonance Skies Academy. She can also play varieties of musical pieces with a high quality.
• Singing - is one of Schnee's passions in life. Since a child, Yuki loves to sing. But since that incident, Yuki solemnly sings. Her sing ability is top level.
• Cooking - Schnee learn cooking from her mother and since then, she hone her culinary skills.
❥ｂｉｏ: Schnee lived a pretty normal life in her childhood. She learned how to play the violin, how sing and many more. Her life was simple. Yuki lived with her parents and she was an only child but she didn't care since her cousin lived with them and the two of them treated each other like siblings. Then, a tragedy happen.It was a rainy night when it happened. When her family was going home after a trip to their grandparents house. They were passing by to a curved road at a hill when a truck suddenly appeared from in front of them and knocked their car to the railings and down rolling at the hillside. At that time, Schnee was around 9 and her cousin, Ein was around 8. Her father suffered several injuries and were life threatening also her mother since both of them were at the front seat. While on the other hand, little Yuki and Ein was at the back seat and only has few minor injuries thought. Ein hit his head which caused head hemorrhage.Yukiharu screamed for help for many hours while she watched her parents and Ein die before her eyes. However, it was a holiday when the incident happened and when rescue came. It was too late for Schnee's parents and Ein was in comatose. Her life wasn't the same before that day. She can use her voice but for only a brief period due to the over exerting her voice box from the incident.
After a few years, Yukiharu was able to enter the Resonance Skies Academy due to a recommendation from some people who knew her and her skills she possessed.

❥ｂｉｏ: His story, Ein's story starts with his parents passing away when he was just a year old. He was took in by his aunt or to be more precises, Yukiharu's mother. And the rest of his story gone on like Yuki's with a difference and that is Ein will stay up a bit late and star gaze till that day. Ein hit his head at the glass of the door next to him, his uncle and aunt dying before his eyes and Schnee screaming for help till her voice gone hoarse yet she still continued. His consciousness little by little faded to darkness.
When he woke up from his deep slumber. Ein caught the scent of clean air and was cold, almost like a hospital, sans the sanitizing chemicals and the recycled air. He slowly opened his eyes and what he saw was his cousin. Seating at a chair, skillfully peeling the apple and was around the ages of 17. But after a teary reunion with Yuki, Ein found out that the girl can't speak without feeling pain at her throat. He stayed at the hospital for sometime to rehabilitate his body back to shape and had to take a lot of supplementary lessons to catch up due to him being in a coma for a few years

There's a reason she used to be called "Twig," though she is by no means unnecessarily thin. It was mostly in regards to the length of her limbs, and her height. She has soft facial features, big blue eyes, a unobtrusive brow, and a nose that might be considered slightly longer than average. ❥ｐｅｒｓｏｎａｌｉｔｙ: All in all, Penelope is a warm and affectionate person. She deeply cares for her friends and is very sensitive to their feelings, only feeling truly at peace if she knows that those she cares about are at peace as well. This is mainly due to the fact that she doesn't make friends easily, or at least she doesn't believe she does, so she tends to do anything she can to make sure that the few friends she has stick around. She really does enjoy being around and interacting with people... the only problem is that she's so shy that she often finds it impossible to do so. She tends be incredibly awkward when meeting new people, but won't hesitate to respond in a friendly manner if talked to. Most of her awkwardness comes from the fact that she tends to overthink how she should interact with people, and in overthinking, she tends to verbalize things that she probably shouldn't.
❥ｃｈａｒａｃｔｅｒ ｆｌａｗｓ: ✖Self Conscious - Especially when it comes to her physical attributes. She feels that she's too tall, or that her hair is too wild, or that her nose is just too long. She gets easily depressed if any sort of physical flaws are pointed out.

✖ Speech impediment - not so much your standard lisp or stutter. When Penelope tries to form sentences, they end up coming out... odd. The severity of how mixed up her sentences are usually rises depending on how nervous or uncomfortable she is.

Martyr - user can heal more serious injuries and broken bones at the expense of their own health. When used, the caster is taking on the injury of the injured person, and bears the injury in their place.
❥ｔａｌｅｎｔｓ: Piano - Penelope is a fairly talented pianist.
Singer - Penelope is a fantastic singer, though she's too shy to sing in front of others
Bassist - Penelope can play the bass quite decently ❥ｂｉｏ: Penelope has had a fairly normal and good life, as far as lives go that is. Her parent's are still happily married. Her family has always been comfortably middle class... She's never had a relative or close friend killed by a serial murderer or anything. Nope, the only thing that could be considered abnormal about Penelope's life would probably be that her parents are both Wizards. Well, a Wizard and a Witch, respectively. Despite this, Penelope has always gone to public schools, and lived the life of a normal, non magic using child, always keeping the fact that her father would go off and settle legal cases between other magic users ( a wizard lawyer, go figure) and her mother would go and cure odd curses as her day job, a secret from her friends.
It wasn't a difficult job actually. Penelope didn't really have many friends to keep secrets from. Being an early bloomer, as well as fairly sort of really introverted doesn't lend aid to the social sides of childhood. As such, She grew up with very few friends, who didn't stay friends for very long, whether due to them moving away, changing schools, or the occasional mysterious disappearance (her parents are wizards... well, a wizard and a witch respectively) Her only constant friend was her Teddy Bear, who was her imaginary friend up until the middle of middle school.
Towards the end of middle school, she was sent to an all girl's boarding school in england. Why? Well frankly, her parent's were unsure what to do about their daughter's social inadequacies. They decided that a change in scenery, and a bit of healthy forced coexistence with other girls her age would help her to make some friends and break out of her shell. It worked to a degree. She did make friends, but once again, she was bullied due to some of her seemingly uncommon physical attributes, I.E. Her height specifically. It was also here that she realized her sexual preference... And that is all I have to say about that.
So she made friends, but ended up staying fairly shy and awkward, with a newly reinforced body issues feature attached to boot. Nice, but you know, not really. She ended up leaving the school after she began to abruptly exhibit magical qualities. This came as a bit of a surprise to her parents, seeing as she hadn't ever shown any magical aptitude up till that point, but it wasn't something they were necessarily unhappy about. They enrolled her in the Resonance Skies academy as soon as possible, sending her there to hone her newly discovered abilities. ❥ｌｉｋｅｓ:

Lucy has really dark brown eyes that appear black. Her hair is a dark brown colour also, but appears brown. She has rather pale skin. She has a small frame, but she is not skin and bone. Her hair is up to her collar bones, but is very, very rarely out. (It is how seen in picture) In the picture, she is her actual age. She is always seen in victorian style dresses that are knee length, fringed socks and black loafers.
Lucy does not have any piercings. The only jewellery she wears is a black pendant in the shape of a drop around her neck that sits in the middle of her chest. ❥ｐｅｒｓｏｎａｌｉｔｙ:
On the outside, Lucy seems to show no emotion at all. She keeps her emotions locked within her, and doesn't not show them to anyone. She is not a hateful person, but she is not loving person either. She is afraid of loving, as she fears the ones she loves will be taken away from her.
She does not care about how someone views her, and she can be incredibly blunt at the best of times. ❥ｃｈａｒａｃｔｅｒ ｆｌａｗｓ: ✖Humourless - Lucy has no sense of humour at all
✖ Judgemental - Even if Lucy knowns nothing about a person, she has an idea of how she thinks of them

Drawing - Lucy was taught from a very young age to draw, and it has become her main hobby, and she is very good at it.

Lucy was a soft and happy child. Her parents were always there with her to help her grow up. Whenever she was in trouble, her parents would rush to her aid. One day Lucy was the victim of an attempted kidnapping.
Two men rushed into her room where she was drawing and grabbed her. By the time they had gotten outside her parents had came backing from shopping. They immediately attempted to get Lucy back.
For what seemed like hours they fought, passers by started to watch in fear. Suddenly the two men grabbed both parents and pushed their heads through a glass window. The glass shattered immediately, puncturing their skulls and sending Lucy into a panic.
After witnessing the horrid sight of the death of her beloved parents, she changed, she was no longer the happy child she once was. After the death of her parents, Lucy was sent to live with her aunty. Life with her aunty was hard, to say the least. Her aunty was the only family Lucy had left, but unfortunately, her aunty was far from normal. Her aunty had issues with finance, and had an alcohol problem.
Whilst living with her aunt, Lucy spent her time locked in her own room, drawing. Due to the vast amount of spare time Lucy had, she became a very good artist. She also took an interest in Astronomy, and spent a lot of time doing that. And eventually, she wound up at the academy. ❥ｌｉｋｅｓ:

...you didn't add in any of the new sections necessary. If you read all the announcements and actually read the new threads for the magic system and such, as well as actually look at the new profile template it should be obvious what updates you should be making to your character. Please, please take time to actually read things and understand what we need you to do instead of just popping up your profile with no changes. I do not have the time or patience to hand-hold another guild member through this process...

Mars is really sensitive when someone makes fun of his beloved mother. He is head strong and he never gives up on hope. He is motivated and is ready to take on the impossible. At times when Mars messes up in life, he is depressed. stare He is a bit lonely and quiet. His only friend is his dad and his older brother. He is also an an alcoholic. To scary to be true. On that day he made a grudge against himself. He moved away from his hometown and came here to this academy for a new and fresh start. Thus, his horrifying memories still follow him and haunts each night. Whenever there's a cruel nightmare, he drinks alcohol just to forget. Lucy has really dark brown eyes that appear black. Her hair is a dark brown colour also, but appears brown. She has rather pale skin. She has a small frame, but she is not skin and bone. Her hair is up to her collar bones, but is very, very rarely out. (It is how seen in picture) In the picture, she is her actual age. She is always seen in victorian style dresses that are knee length, fringed socks and black loafers.
Lucy does not have any piercings. The only jewellery she wears is a black pendant in the shape of a drop around her neck that sits in the middle of her chest. ❥ｐｅｒｓｏｎａｌｉｔｙ:
On the outside, Lucy seems to show no emotion at all. She keeps her emotions locked within her, and doesn't not show them to anyone. She is not a hateful person, but she is not loving person either. She is afraid of loving, as she fears the ones she loves will be taken away from her.

Sorry, but only teachers and student council members can start out with the advanced elements (of which, sound is one). You'll have the opportunity to switch Mass to one later on, but he can't start out with it. Quote: Advanced Elements: These elements are more difficult to master and abilities from these elements are restricted to use by student council members, professors, or other school administration. Advanced elements require the caster to blend qualities from two basic elements, to get something new. As such, they are more unpredictable, and sometimes more dangerous. Often, a person has to have a natural talent or specific heritage in that area to be able to utilize these elements.
