'Kodaku... Village' Batsu's eye actually twitched at the mere mention of the place. Those poor people... the destroyed land.. the pirates. All of them were under a mission that he was in charge of... and it failed. The mix of emotions overwhelmed him like it did the first time. Batsu tried his hardest to hide his emotions as he trailed behind Shinzu, but the recollection of a painful memory weighed heavy on Batsu and he dropped his head. Clearly the boy was still overcome with rage and sorrow over the invasion. Damn...

Xenon was jumping over the rooftops at an almost effortless pace, keeping in stride with Kimiko's rather impressive full over sprint across them as the two closed in on the rendezvous point and their escape. "Kimiko-san," Xenon looking over at her as they went. "What do we plan to do from here. We were planning on one extra member on our trip over to the Land of Water...but it would seem that we've picked up quite the motley crew."



"Heh heh! I see whatcha did there. Crew like as in Pirate crew. Classic boss."

"I do try." Xenon assured casually.



Kimiko was looking pensive. "I don't really know...as is, I think we may have to take them back to Head Quarters first...dragging them all the way to the land of water is trouble I don't think we need. Things will be hard enough there without worrying about keeping tabs on a whole bunch of people below A-rank..."

"Agreed." Xenon said with a nod. the two leaving the roof tops and leading instead on the stone pier just along the sea, Mu'se and his passengers awaiting them. "Then I suppose it's back to base for us...a bit troublesome, but unnecessary."



"Senpai, zam!!" Yukimaru was hopping up and down on Mu'se's back. "You are here, zam! This was the best rescue mission ever, zam! You have wooed me once more with your manly ways!"

The pair gave a slight smile at seeing the admittedly odd girl in tact and smiling. She may have been...well, Yukimaru, but she was dear to them after so long.

"You...two....are.... unbelievable..."

The pair once more turned their gaze as one, just in time to see Mikito, the trio paying no mind to the fact that Kasuke's cousin was also heading in their direction.

"Mikito-san." Xenon said warmly. "You're looking well."



Mikito gave a long breath as he finally came to halt, his hands in his pockets. "Yeah, yeah, of course I freakin am. What about you two? The hell was..." his eyes drifted to Yukimaru and the rescued pirates. "...Oh." he seemed to calm down, raising a brow at the pair. "Well then hey, how's it goin?"

Kimiko gave a laugh and a smile. "Very funny, Miki-senpai." the girl said to her one time squad leader. "You do know it's a tad suspcious for you to be consorting with two notorious criminals?"

Mikito gave a slight grin. "Heh. Yeah, right. Sorry about that. Wanted to make sure you both got out of here alright." he signaled a friendly salute to his best friend Xen. "And hell, what's so weird about a chat between friends. Orikami already knows we're tight. He'll just assume I was trying to get you to come back peacefully."

Xenon adjusted his glasses with his usual grin. "Kyojin won't...but I suppose that's not to be helped. By the by, where is he? I expected him to be the one sent after us."

Mikito gave a shrug. "Not sure. He was sent after you, but he fell off the radar after that."

Xenon seemed to fall a bit more pensive. "Hm...interesting...but..." he left it aside for now. "Though I wish we could stay to chat, we must be off. And you should be getting back to your students hm?" he gave a slightly more teasing smile.

Mikito gave an aggravated sigh.

Kimiko though gave a laugh. "I think it's the perfect job for you. You always were so protective over kids. I could tell you loved them alot."

"I do NOT!" Mikito denied pulling down his hat slightly. "Geez. Just cause you don't wanna see kids hurt doesn't mean ya gotta be crazy about em. I hate baby sittin!"

Kimiko winked. "Sure." She knew better, Her senpai may have put on the tough exterior, but he was one of the most honest hearted and honorable people that she knew. There was a reason that he had also managed to become Xenon's friend in a time when Maboroshi had been determined not to have any. She and Maboroshi prepared to jump up unto the awaiting serpent, barring a sudden interruption from Toshi, who was approaching their location...

The conversation wasn't getting anywhere until another girl walked up wearing a sound headband. She talked in a rather weird way, but it wasn't hard to ignore considering she had been with Alucard for so long, though she kept referring to everyone as 'big-sis,' which she could deal with. "At least someone has some decency. Name's Miyako Chōzō. Pleasure to meet you Tsuni." It was actually a funny sight seeing Kina explain about the Mazakou and Tsuni rattle on about when she protects the people of Oto. Then she mentioned about going to the harbor and the more rude one talked about going to the harbor with them. For the meantime Miyako would stick close to her girls... It seemed safer that way. "Alright ladies... if that is where the Otokage will be headed, we may as well get going. Sailing is going to be awesome!" She could hardly contain herself for seeing a another new country.

Toshi walked a little bit further ask he looked at Lunar and rubbed under the kitty's chin. He turned his head and noticed the giant snake first. He blinked and looked around behind him. No one was around. He shrugged as he thought to himself out loud. "Maybe it's because they don't like snakes... Hmph." He turned around and finally took in the others standing there. He blinked and tilted his head to the side. 'Were they there before? Did they hear me? Crap...' He sighed and put on a smile as he waved his hand toward the group as a whole. "Hi there." He felt slightly uncomfortable and didn't know how he should react. He was never good with talking to people. His eyes landed on the man that had whispered to him back at the convoy. His eyes narrowed slightly as he watched him.

Orikami smiled at the boy, his smile wide as he gave a nod, laughing hardily at the boy's correction that implied his friends might be chasing after girls at asuch a time. "Hahaha, indeed, if you mean the girl who vacated the area shortly before our arrival..." his eyes seemed to drifted to the distant form of the giant snake, now quite far away. Orikami's senses were greater than most, so he'd been able to recognize Kimiko's fading sound shortly before he and his company arriving at the ship. "Then I do hope they don't try anything foolish. If you thought the snake was a force to be reckoned with, I assure you that it's nothing compared the Blazing requiem herself." he didn't even seem all that ominous of hateful as he said, merely as though he was more remarking upon a fact. In reality there was no need for him to bare hatred for the leader of "4" ....after all she and the Nightmare of Oto would soon be serving him...it was only a matter of a time. He was what was best for Oto's future...and they would be forced to come to terms with that...sooner perhaps, even, than later. The new era that he was ushering in was one that no one would be able to deny.

"I thank you kindly for your hospitality, my boy. We Kage of villages outside the "five great" are not always treated with the due respect we deserve. I welcome your offer." he turned his head towards the approaching party of students however, how it seemed were indeed returning to the harbor, his sense of his surroundings alerting him to their movements even amongst the hustle and bustle of the docks after the attack. "Still...it would seem as though we do not have long to wait." he turned a looked at Senkyo. "Senkyo, ensure that everyone get's on board safely, and that we set off promptly. I will go to the captains quarters and settle in. Chishio, inspect the ship to your hearts content."





"Yes Otokage-sama." both said in chorus, giving the man a bow.


Orikami nodded, and walked up the boarding plank unto the ship, Chishio in toe. It seemed that the chaos in the port was over, and that the team from Mist had successfully retrieved the Otokage...

Senkyo turned to wait for the approaching students and the two remaining Mist Ninja, looking rather patient as the four Secret Police officers also boarded the boat behind him, flanking the Otokage as his guard.

"Hm...this has been such a troublesome trip." Senkyo mused to himself, still eating the candy. "Firs the whole thing with the haunted village...and now I've got blood all over my sword from those weak Iron Ninja guys...pfffft." he looked pestered as he popped another cnady in his mouth. He looked of at Tenshi, holding out the bag of candy. "Want one...?"

Tsuni seemed to look pleased at being greeted in such a manner by her new big sis's, learning both their names. "Big sis Urza and Big Sis Miyako! Tsuni will remember that." She assured as the group, moving their way back down to the port, seemed to spot the boat in the distance, Senkyo waving at them with a smile. "Tsuni is super pleased to meet you all and wants to tell you that you don't have to worry, she'll protect you no problem while we're over in the Land of water! No problem! She IS a deadly weapon of death after all." she once more glared at the two Mist Ninja, who though she was apparently supposed to be nice to them, apparently wasn't very good at it. "And if one of those guys tries to do that thing Big bro Mido apparently tried to do on Tsuni and ask you on a date thingie, then she'll totally set them on fire!" She didn't seem to be addressing the boy's directly, but it was clear she meant them. "Cause Biggest bro says that boy's asking girl's on date's can't be trusted, and Biggest bro is ALWAYS right." she gave a finaly nod as though this was the final word on the matter. She then started prodding Urza's armor, as though her attention span wasn't very long. "Big Sis Urza, why are you wearing big heavy metal clothes? Isn't that really super tough to move around in...? Oh! Oh! Is it so you don't get covered in the blood of your defeated enemies? Tsuni has that problem a lot. Inconsiderate knaves BLEEDING all over when Tsuni kills them...pfffft." the childish girl made a sluff while Kina actually sweating slightly while listening to her as they all approached the ship, Senkyo and Tenshi apparently waiting for them...



*** With Xen and Kimiko ****



Xenon adjusted his glasses slightly as Toshi approached them, his smile still in place. "Ah...I take it this is one of your students, Mikito?"



Kimiko gave a slight smile in the boy's direction. "Hey! I think i've seen him around the village before..." she waved at him with her casual smile in place.



Mikito turned around and looked in his direction. "Ah...him. Yeah. Apparently he's Kasuke's cousin." he looked over to Xen. "He seems alright. I don't think he'll side with the Otobe anyway." The sonic fist said with a fair amount of certainty.

Xenon merely nodded at this, apparently judging the boy behind his smiling eyes. "I see. Fair enough. I was never really much of a fan of Kasuke's governmental polices, but he was sublime idealist, and a good man. I don't really see any reason why his cousin wouldn't carry some of those qualities." he raised a brow. "Well, cousin of Kasuke, I wish you the best of luck. If you would, try not to do something foolish and put yourself in harms way trying to fight the Otobe now. If you truly wish to stop them...then I would ask that you grow stronger...strong enough to be of help to us when the time comes, hm?"

Kimiko gave a nod. "I realize that you must be angry at the Otobe...but you have to remember that not all of them are bad...it's not as a simple a battle between good and evil here...even if we were to sweep in and defeat Orikami now...it wouldn't save the sound...it would only cause a civil war to erupt, at best." she folded her arms with a smile. "If we truly want to save the sound, without blood shed...we can't just charge in head on...we have to try and save our people a different way...we might even be able to save the Otobe while we're at it..." she gave a nod. "So don't let your anger at what's going on consume you...just serve Oto as best as you can for now...and someday...well." she gave a warm idealistic smile. "Someday, we'll be able to do the impossible." she looked to Xen and nodded. "I'll scout ahead and make sure our path is clear." her fingers streaked through a series of handsigns, likely faster than a genin could even imagine, and struck a pose with her hands fixed out in front of her. Her one and only Original technique. "Fire Style secret technique: Te No TenshoU!" Fire suddenly streaked from the girl's hands as she took off from the ground, soaring into the sky at a rather impressive speed, while Mikito's jaw actually dropped.

"W-whoa....she...finally managed it? That technique...? You gotta be kidding me!?" he gave a smile. "Heh. Well... way to go Kimi."

Xenon gave a shrug "What can I say. She does indeed enjoy doing the impossible." he gave a slight wave to Toshi. "Well, as another student of Oto, say hello my cousin Kina once and a while hm?"



Mokutan however added "But if you ask her out on a date we'll kill you, skin you alive, and feed you to Mu'se here.....and yeah, in that order............... We'll find a way."

Xenon laughed light heartedly. "Ah Mokutan, don't be silly." however his glasses seemed to shine over as he adapted a creepy mad scietist's grin. "We'd probably just break his mind like a week old tooth pick." he then returned to smiling cheerfully with a hardy laugh. "Ahaha, ah, well, a fond farewell to you all. Mikito, do try to be a bit less conspicuous in the future hm? we're enemies, for the moment, remember?" he jumped up unto the snakes back, the massive serpent swimming away through the waters and further down along the shore, out of the city bay, and out of sight...


Mikito blinked with a slight sweat above his head. "Don't worry, he was joking." there was a pause. "I...think." he patted the kid on the shoulder, walking back along the harbor towards the ship in the distance, and doubtless where the Otokage awaited. "Come on, looks like with this mess cleared up their preparing to leave." he looked sidelong at the boy as he walked passed him. "And kid..." he tossed something over his shoulder for the kid to catch, it looked like a small token carved with the number 4. "Hang on to that. When that time Kimi was talking about comes...you might need it."

He proceeded to walk back along the docks...and towards the distant ship...

Name: Fire Style Secret Technique: Te no Tenshou (Burning Hands)
Description: Kimiko Momoe has been focusing off time for the past two years of her shinobi career on managing a singlular goal...a question that she has had since she was just a student, and she had first seen the Kage she adored as a Hero fly. Would it possible for a Ninja not of the wind affinity to do the same? It wasn't a technique that had ever been attempted before, that she was aware of, and she lacked the resources to consult a true master of Fire Ninjutsu, but she still wondered if it was possible. As her skills grew and she excelled quickly as a Ninja, she dedicated much of her time to trying to answer this question... and after many a failed attempt, often leaving her hands scorched or her body battered from falling, she has at last managed to master such a technique...creating it herself. Using her chakra to perpetuate a great deal of fiery thrust from her hands, and with a considerable degree of chakra control, she is able to propel herself up into the air and rather effectively direct her movement with controlled bursts of speed and counter active thrusts for balance.

"For all our sake I hope they don't try anything." He would have to give them a lesson later. They were no match for the snakes, what made them think they could do anything to the one who summoned them? When he mentioned the other kages not being given the respect they deserved, he wondered why not... they were kage after all, even if they were from smaller countries. He made a mental note to check into it. If he was going to be a diplomatic escort, he might need to polish on a few things. Tenshi couldn't hear anything above the noise of the harbor, but he thought that he could see them... maybe? It was hard to tell. He let the young woman have free roam to inspect the ship and Tenshi got a little nervous. He hoped they picked a good ship for the Otokage to ride on. She didn't look like one to take anything lightly. The purple haired man, Senkyo, as the kage called him said something about spilling blood on his sword and he wondered what it was about, and then he was offered candy. He couldn't resist a sweet. "If you are offering," he reached in and grabbed a hard candy and placed it in his mouth. "Arigatō," he said and looked out for his companions. He couldn't wait to be on the ship again and get back to Kiri where they were all needed. Not to mention the feeling he would have of actually transporting the Otokage and being specially assigned to this task!

Miyako followed the young man to the ship and found Senkyo and a white haired boy waiting for them. From the looks of it, the Otokage had already arrived. At least she assumed Senkyo to remain by his side. She had gotten a kick out of Tsuni and talking about Urza's armor. It seemed they had made a new admirer, though she wondered who this 'biggest bro' was. It kind of unsettled her, though at the mention of Mido's name she couldn't help but laugh aloud, "Mido? He asked you out on a date? Please tell me you punched him in the face?" If she did, Miyako didn't know if she'd be able to hold herself together. "That Mido I tell ya... when he gets older he'll be put in prison for sexually harassing anything that moves and has boobs." She finished off her laugh with a bit of a chuckle. She made a mental note to give him a good punch when she saw him.
