Araima started pointing out some that he would find similiar to his world's ingredients. "Lasti is similar to your Basil. This one is somewhat like Rosemary but a little sweeter. And this..." she said, pointing out some more.
"But to save time..." she pulled out a box of eggs. "How about this?"

The more ingredients Araima showed him, the more he nodded his head, at most, and ooh or and ahh escaped him. Perhaps one day he could figure out how to work a pasta dish from her world's ingredients. It was then she pulled out a box of eggs to show him, at least that could be worked around rather easily. "I suppose those aren't chicken eggs in there?"

She grinned. "There close enough. Don't worry, they won't make you sick." she assured him. She handed him the back. "You know these." she said, pulling down salt and pepper. She pulled out some recognizable vegetables as well. A odd type of pepper, and cheese.
"Are these okay with you?"

"I believe you, Araima. This looks promising." Gale picked up an empty box and placed an assortment of vegetables and herbs along with the eggs inside. "I think I can make some great tasting eggs with all of this. How does that sound?" He asked Araima, he looked at some of the fruits as well and placed them into the box. Those were always healthy, he could make a fruit salad from them.
"I have all I need here. Anything else you would like?"

Araima looked around the room. She couldn't thing of anything else she wanted at the moment. The main point was to have a lot of it.
"No. That's all." she said was a satisfied nod.
Back up the stairs they both went and to the kitchen to prepare a meal.

"Then lets get busy with these eggs, shall we?" He carried everything up to the kitchen and quickly got to work on making the three of them a breakfast. As he let the eggs settle, he began to prepare the the fruit salad.
"I'm going to make a fruit salad for you, just incase you change your mind." He smiled, he was just about done with their eggs. They were strange eggs, he never say egg yolks that were a litteral golden color.

"Alright." Araima nodded agreeably. She was watching the eggs carefully. As if they'd burn while she looked away. She was good at cooking, but not that good. She tended to burn things that cooked quickly. Like eggs. The smell was mouth-watering though.
"Is this the kind of this you usually have for breakfast? Do you have a favorite?" she asked.

"Yeah, I'd say it's a basic breakfast. Nothing fancy, but will get you through the day till lunch." With the eggs sizzling, he continued more on getting the fruits all sliced up and ready to go. He quirked a brow at her question.
"My favorite, this is tricky. Lets see, I do like to have eggs, I'm a fan of pancakes for breakfast, but only one or two. A slice of bread and a fruit juice, like an orange." Gale answered, he wondered on the question but left it on the matter of being conversation. Finished, he separated the food onto two plates, a bowl of slice up fruits between them.
"What's yours, then?"

Araima was thoughtful for a second. She took both plates to table for them.
"I think omelets. I love eggs the most in the morning, but with an omelets I can make several different combinations. So it's like I never have the same one twice. I can get creative." she said.
She sat down and started into the food grateful. It was delicious. He was good at cooking. "This fruit salad is great." she told him.

Gale thanked her and sat beside Araima. He tried the eggs first, and then the salad. He was surprised by how well it tasted himself. "I got lucky I suppose, this tastes better than the ones I've prepared back at my world. For the most part, I thought it was going to come out terrible. You said these ingredients were alike, but I wasn't sure on their proportions."

She smiled. "With all cook, I suppose it's half skill, half experimentation. I bet the salad in your world is still great. I'll love to try it." she said. Her smile wavered a little. Really she was just stalling. That maybe time would slow down if they filled it with idle conversation. But they had to talk business sooner or later.
"So... what are we going to do? You can't stay, can you?"

"You will someday, I'll make sure to have some prepared when you come back to mom and dad." He said returning her smile with one of his own. He looked at her face and noticed there was something troubling her. Gale held her gently, he wanted to anyway, and this gave him the chance. "Right now, I'm waiting on your parents. I slept on it and I think I have an idea to our dilemma, at least a temporary one."

Araima nodded. "Any chance you'd share before they get here? Or should we save it for a surprise." she asked. She pushed her empty plate away and leaned back in her chair.
If he thought it best to tell her and her parents together, then she would wait. Her curiosity was gnawing at her though.

"Well, perhaps we can live in each others worlds as a family. That way one or the other isn't missing in out son's life." Gale explained, he was hoping with this pitch, he could convince her father that they could make a family together. "Our son also deserves to know where he comes from, on both sides of his family."

"I agree." she said with a nod. "I can help you convince my family. If you have to go.... I want to come with you. Not now of course, but when you have everything settled. We could split the time in each place. I'm sure it could work."
She thought about this. She didn't want to have their child with him not here. It would be sad to think she was always waiting. Though she would if they had too.
