Shiro heard a slight rustling in the bushes nearby as he made his way onto the island. He approached them with caution, as it was sure to be a ninja, but would it be a danger to him...?

From the bushes a dence fog rang out covering the entire area as the ninja that was hiding there stood and drew his sword. He kept his eyes on the area where Shiro had been as his sensory skills told him he was still there. Pulling two kunai from his pocket he would send them flying outwards towards the ninja missing him on purpose to scare him while at the sametime set up some metal wire hanging in the area.
Suiton: Kirigakure no Jutsu (Water Release: Hidden Mist Technique) Rank: D Description: Kirigakure no Jutsu is a Ninjutsu technique utilized by Hidden Mist ninja. The ninja causes the area surrounding their target to be covered in fog. The low visibility allows the ninja to silently and secretly assassinate their target.
The kunai became visible through the mist at the last possible moment, it was at that point that Shiro realized two things. This opponent was clearly hostile, and he either had poor aim, or was setting up for something else, either way, Shiro had to be on his feet now, or in the air. Shiro's bird from earlier broke apart into a great deal of icy flakes before reforming beneath Shiro's feet, and with a great movement of it's wings, it lifted the two into the air, far above the mist. Shiro couldn't see much through the dense fog, and his opponent was well hidden, however from this height, Shiro would have more than enough time to avoid any attacks thrown his way. Shiro swiftly drew a single kunai as he looked down into the mist, waiting for the next move to be made.

The ninja looked up and chuckled as he sheathed his sword and began to toss kunai after kunai into the air all of which held a deadly secret. Some were explosives while others were sealing kunai. Some of the kunai would exploded before reaching Shiro as one flew directly past his head, making it seem as though the ninja really had bad aim. However this wasn't his plan, for out of nowhere the ninja was suddenly behind Shiro and would strike out with his leg in order to knock Shiro to the ground. Shiro would not be able to hear the ninja as he never landed on the ground, but just struck the moment he appeared. If this kick would land the ninja would release a seal on Shiro as it would ready him for the final strike.
Hiraishin no Jutsu [Flying Thunder God Technique ] Rank: S Requirements: Kunai or touch Description: Hiraishin no Jutsu is a ninjutsu technique utilized by the Fourth Hokage. The technique gave Yondaime his nickname "Konoha's Yellow Flash," due to his bright yellow hair and his ability to traverse great distances in the blink of an eye. A space-time jutsu like Kuchiyose, Yondaime first needs to mark his destination with a shiki (rite) first, he can then activate the jutsu to come to the mark. He can apply this to a weapon such as a kunai, and when thrown or used, he can instantly travel to it. He can also apply the mark to a touched area at the cost of S rank chakra, such as his opponent or some other surrounding feature. No matter where the opponent goes, Yondaime can travel to the mark to kill them. [Can only be used twice per battle. Cost rank B chakra.]
Konoha Gouriki Senpuu [ Leaf Herculean Whirlwind ] Simple :: C-Ranked A Taijutsu technique where the user spins with all of their strength and delivers a powerful, spinning, heel kick, blasting their opponent back. This kick can also be used to disarm an opponent since this kick is powerful enough to easily knock a weapon out of the opponent's hand. It is a much stronger version of the Konoha Daisenpuu [Leaf Great Whirlwind].
Shiro stepped back, readying himself as the barrage of kunai flew into the air, exploding around him. He watched as one of the kunai flew past his head. Shiro was now ready to move as the kunai summoned the enemy ninja, Shiro's more than decent agility allowed him the ability to quickly move out of the way of the kick, however their was little room to move while standing atop an icy bird. Shiro watched as the kick came in with full force towards his head, Shiro would then wrap his arm around his leg as he moved in an opposite motion, trapping the leg responsible for the kick as he forced his elbow downwards into his leg from the opposite direction. This attack would undoubtedly break the man's leg, provided that it hit successfully.

Cross Split Simple :: B Rank A two-part attack that ends in the snapping of an opponent’s bone, causing great pain and the loss of usage of the limb until it is healed by a medic. In the first part of the movement, the user blocks an incoming attack and grabs on to the limb. In the second part, the user brings in a strike from the opposite direction and strikes further down along the bone. The force snaps the bone at that particular point. If performed with weaponry, this technique can be used to break an opponent’s weapon or to disarm him/her.
The ninja grinned as the kick did its job and landed the seal on Shiro. Now this fight was ready to be over when ever he wanted. However, the ninja still had to deal with the fact that he was in a predicament. Utilizing his speed he would draw his sword and jab towards Shiro's chest while using his other leg to strike towards his ribs, which in turn would cause the ninja to fall backwards. If Shiro didn't let go then he would be pulled into the blade and fall to the ground with the ninja.
Shiro released his opponents leg as he moved backwards to avoid the sword, and kick in one fluid motion. As the man fell backwards, plummeting to some sort of trick that he had laid out below him, Shiro would form a multitude of hand seals before jumping downwards from his birds back. He would be only feet from his opponent as a great deal of pure chakra would form a spiraling ball within his palm, soon, by adding even more chakra, the attack would quickly become far more devastating as it grew in size, becoming many times larger and more powerful then before. In this vulnerable state, it would more than likely successfully hit his opponent, and, if it didn't kill him, it would more than likely maim him seriously..

Odama Rasengan [Great Ball Spiraling Sphere] Rank: S Requirements: Rasengan! Description: The Great Ball Rasengan is a more powerful version of the Rasengan created by Naruto during his training with Jiraiya in the gap in time dividing Part I and II of the series. Like the regular Rasengan, Naruto uses a shadow clone to help form it. However, by adding increased amounts of chakra, he can increase the size and power of the standard Rasengan. It deals astounding damage to the area and the target, but it leaves Naruto exhausted.
As the ninja fell he would form handsigns, however due to the rate he was falling he couldn't accuately judge the distance to the ground and landed with a thud. Shiros next attack however would land and totally demolish the ninja leaving no reacord of him ever being alive. Shiro had survived his encounter.
The blast from Shiro's attack would keep him in the air long enough for him to regain his footing as the mist cleared, it was clear to him that he had won in this fight, it was actually rather exciting. Shiro would then form a single hand sing as his large icy bird moved downwards from the sky, swooping beneath Shiro as it picked him up into the air, lifting him above the trees as the two made their way back to Kirigakure, or, more specifically, the Mizukage's mansion.

Shiro continued his flight as he heard something in the bushes just to his right, it may be another ninja, Shiro kept his eyes locked on it for the time being. ((Sorry, I just realized that I can't do another dice roll just yet.)) Deciding that it was nothing, Shiro would move on back towards Kiri, high up in the air away from any danger that may be looming in the forests below. [Exit]

Rain, after hitching the boat to the docks of the area he was stood upon a few years back, no returned to the island that he noticed had been retaken over by the jungle of the Island. The forestry seemed to have been enlargened, the trail that he once took to get to the Chuunin exams was now nearly vanished by the grass and trees that now claimed dominance over them. Upon coming to the actual village, Rain was slightly astonished that the inhabitants that once lived there vanished. Even as he passed the huts of the homes, he noticed that oddly the houses were still well equipped. Chairs, bedding, curtains... even food half eaten still lay sprawled about the place. Stopping at the center of the village, Rain sighed softly under his breath and pondered where he should begin his search. Thinking that maybe, the podium that the oddly clothed announcer and host of the previous exam, would be a place to search first. The houses didn't seem like a place to house an artifact, and all the sources he got seemed to lead back on the Island itself. So Rain decided to at least, search the place from top to bottom starting with the island that began the entire 'race' for power.

_ Maki and Umeko had just arrived at the oasis that was known as Nagi Island. The area was beautiful, littered with flowers and meadows which were as tranquil as the waters and ponds in and around it, although Maki might not feel the same way about the water. Umeko would take a deep breath in and a slow exhale out a smile on her face, before looking back to Maki whose hand she still held and their fingers still intertwined as they walked through the island. "It's this Island just so beautiful?" She had.

Maki took a deep breath now that they were back on land. Though it was a small part of a long trip to their destination and they would have to use another boat, she was much more at home on the ground than floating about on the water. She looked up briefly and saw her raven flying over the two of them, high in the air to keep lookout. She smiled and glanced over at umekyo and got a little lost in staring. She barely heard what was said about the island but it brought her back to reality for a moment. "Hm? Sorry. The island is pretty yes but I found something much more attractive in my eyes" She said with a little shrug and a smile directed at her teammate. .
