And then Pach's characters were here being awesome because she really needs to catch up.
"Guys? Hello?" Cass hobbled and blipped about awkwardly after the much bigger minipets that seemed to be leading the way, mewling pathetically. She hated being so tiny! Sure she was 'tiny' normally, but this was nonfunctional tiny!!
She knew she'd heard a few voices she recognized about too, which meant all the better for her to try and snoop around for some bigger minis to maybe make doe eyes at to let her follow them.
Or something.

Harrison's face twisted up. He didn't translate for B0nez.

Rep's expression remained firm, his posture as hard and angry as he could make it.The old emotional walls didn't work on people who were already under them to begin with, but no one else needed to know that.
"Yeah cause trust has landed you in so much s**t." he said, rolling his eyes. "Like surviving missions and being moderately happy." On some level he knew logic wasn't going to work, it didn't stop him from trying. What did stop him was I hate you.

As Harrison looked like he was on brink of maiming himself, Rep finally decided it was time to at least try to intervene. He didn't expect it to go down well.
He wandered nonchalantly closer, looking as inoffensive as possible - and suddenly pounced, with every intent on trying to use larger-catness rather than his claws to pin him until he came to his senses and stopped doing things that made everything seem quite so wrong.

He knew it, he'd known-
He gave a short, manic laugh, which devolved quickly into a sob- and now the dogs would come again, and he'd die here over and over. It had to be a nightmare, nothing was working right- Jordan and Rep wouldn't do this to him, they...
But he'd learned that lesson a long time ago. Stupid, he'd been stupid to talk as long as he had. He knew what would happen. He should have- but even a brush against the thought of killing Rep wrenched something inside him, he couldn't- and now he was going to die, Task undone, and everything was lost...

"I ******** hate this." Rep stated to no one in particular as he held Harrison down, it made his skin crawl hearing the distress in the other man's voice. This wasn't the guy he knew, who he'd come to feel he could instinctually understand.

"I know because I've watched you three this whole time, that's not normal, that kind of mood swing. That's wrong. Even we don't act like that." She watched Rep go, attempting to talk sense into Harrison. Instead she found Jordan and Jerry near her.
He was hissing at her, and all he got back was a level sane stare as her tail lashed side to side. "OH you have problems alright, two of you are tripping, all of us are minis and the sane one of you three is the psychopath." Her eyes narrowed, "If you want me to change my tune I can happily make good on the threats I made to the Flower Boy and the others, I'm assuming, the others, would be the lot of you, the ones who tried to protect him and stabbed me in the chest. Or I could ignore that, try to get your little Flower Boy to man the ******** up again and help the two of you"
She glanced towards the Shard indicated by his tail and shook her head, "At some point even I can tell when something is a bad idea. I already don't like your kind, would you like to see me tweeking on crystals like your friend? Because I won't just yell, I will likely try and kill you and as we all know that's very counter productive." She looked past the cat towards the other two.
"Look it seems Flower Boy's grown his balls again. And you seem to be... less pissy." She turned next to Jerry.
"Dear I don't trust you all either, you chirp like a boy who's nose I recall breaking but I'll leave your beak be out of the simple nature that we're all completely screwed right now." "You were the one who HIT them last time, don't go trying to ******** blame me for that too." The desire to break his promise not to use violence against the other man was high. He just wanted to sink his claws in, to do anything to make him snap out of it. But he knew it was little more than a desperate frustrated desire - one that likely would have no effect but to agitate him even more.

The little bird's feathers continued to ruffle as suddenly the scareon-zombie was speaking to him. He kept his beak tightly clenched. Boy? She might be undead but he was pretty sure he had at least ten years on her. He let that slide. She was just trying to get a rise out of them. "Look. You can... b-bark up all the trees you want. I'm going to find a way *out* of here. Now, if you'd stop gloating for two seconds maybe you could use that oh-so-useful-rotting brain of yours to help. Otherwise, you stay away from them if you know what's good for you." He snapped. "Next time you and I fight, there won't be a horseman to back you up and we'll have to scrape you up with a shovel." He spat for good measure, despite the fact he probably would fit in the scareon's mouth currently. "Rin!" Jerry glanced over his shoulder for just a moment, scanning for the bewildered owl but was wary to keep his eyes off of Sammy for longer than a minute. A burst of yellow-white light suddenly resonated from the tower, as a cold shriek echoed from within, power tangible even from the distance.
There was something inside the tower. Another pulse of light, a strange feeling, an ancient Fear very much not like a minipet at all, one that chilled each and every Horsemen, Halloween student and weapon to their very Fear core. One that could not be explained in words, a calling perhaps, a sense of unexplainable nostalgia.
They knew what they needed to do.
OOC The Quest Forwards- All HALLOWEEN STUDENTS, HORSEMEN and WEAPONS COUNTERPARTS suddenly see it: a trail of glowing crystals that seem to lead to the tower itself, forming a guiding path. You are now HERE- For any REGULAR MINIS, they feel something else calling to them, warning them of danger. A strange feeling passes over them, one of unexplainable fear - they cannot and will not proceed any further. It looks like the others are on their own now. - FRAGMENT CLAIM: Please claim a the fragments you obtained HERE.

"No horsemen saved you that day Bird." She shifted into a seated position watching Jerry, "You're companions did, mostly the one stabbing me in the chest." She raised a paw tail thumping, "I'm not stopping you am I?" She glanced at the two laying atop one another squirming then back to Jordan, "Bird so help me when I find my body again I'll break your nose. I haven't raise a single claw towards any of you, I tried to get the Psychotic Flower Boy, back in his right mind, and you all act like I just hit you." She stood up again watching the little bird spit.
"The next time we fight little bird, I'll be sure to kill you if you make a threat like that." Suddenly the crystals seemed to line up, something had changed, "Hrmph... a path... splendid." She started walking looking back at the little bird and Jordan, "Well then shall we? I'll even go first so I can't eat the little bird when no ones looking."

There was a clear path now. Was it an exit? Or was it a trap? Either way, the other option was to stay here. The fur along Jordan's spine prickled at the thought of letting anyone behind him, but he had to get out, they all did. He showed one disdainful fang at the scareon's little speech. It was clear what she wanted. She wanted them dead, and she wanted to play games with their heads. He couldn't trust anyone, least of all her. He cast a brief, longing glance at the other two cats. He wanted them beside him, even as he hated them for their duplicity. You're ********," he muttered tiredly. Louder, then, "Let's get out of here." He rose to his feet and followed the path.

Rep was still focused on Harrison as the path revealed itself, the shriek disregarded as another distraction in this hellish and twisted land. What did grab his notice though was Jordan, his comment, despite its casual tone ringing like an order in his head. He looked over his shoulder just in time to spot the other cat moving to leave, finally spotting the path, finally detecting that deep and intense sense of stirring power. Logically, it'd probably be safer to move away from it, but when did they ever do logical?
"Right. You heard the guy. Let's get out of here."
He wasn't about to play softly softly any more with Harrison in his current state and just in case there was any more resistance or escape attempts, he made to seize him by the scruff with his teeth and yank him along the glowing path - a task rendered all the more difficult by trying to still hobble on three legs due to B0nez in his paw.
The entire journey was punctuated by muffled swearing into a mouthful of fur and promises of all the many painful things he'd do to people later for putting him through this.
