Bruce placed his lips close to Tony’s ear, “Im not going anywhere, you know” he said softly knowing how much he personally needed to hear those words and making the safe assumption that in this relationship comprised of two broken and frequently abandoned men he was not the only one that needed to be reassured. ” Just so you know” he smiled “im not going to leave until you get sick of me.”
A witty comeback was tempting, it really was, but instead Tony just smiled, looking down at the ground. "Hopefully you don't get sick of me first," he chuckled, rubbing his fingers over the other man's knuckles.

Bruce kissed behind tony’s ear, trailing as far down his neck as he could and then kissing back up. “not going to happen, you want to know a secret?” he asked not waiting for Tony’s response he told him anyway. “its been almost a year since the avengers first assembled, and I fell in love with you the moment i met you” he said quietly, “good luck getting rid of me, cause you haven’t done it yet.”
"How many secrets do you have?" Tony asked flippantly, but he shuddered at all the kisses to his erogenous zones, finding it hard to resist getting a little excited by them. "I'm s-sure I can just try harder..."

Bruce bit down on Tony’s neck surprisingly hard “you wouldnt dare.” he growled before placing a kiss on the now red bite mark. “not that you’d be able to” he said kissing across the back of tony’s neck and around to his other ear. “thats what happens when people love you tony.” he said kissing down tony’s neck to the edge of his shoulder and back up again. “they put up with you even if you are a 40 year old virgin with extreme anger management issues, or an extremely hurt person hiding behind a large and well deserved ego.” he said laying one last kiss on tony’s neck before setteling his head between it and tony’s shoulder. “Im not just going to dissapear this time.”
The engineer gave a small yip at the bite, promptly leaning back partially into the other man, knees feeling suddenly a bit weak. "Yeah, sounds like we both need each other..." he said softly. "Only a misfit could love another misfit," he added with a chuckle, allowing his head to tip onto Banner's.

Bruce tightened his arms around tony’s waist, hugging him closer to his body. “now you’re getting it,” he said smiling. “do you want to go play in the lab for a little while before dinner?” he asked knowing it was something they would both enjoy.
Tony spun around in the physicist's arms and nuzzled his nose against Bruce's. "That sounds like fun."

“you know you are a dream come true right? Seriously who thought id be able to do scientific stuff on a date and not have someone look at me like im totally nuts. Or break my microscope.” Bruce winced a bit at the memory of his shattered microscope. “could you get any better?” he asked utterly sincere.
Tony just grinned a mile wide. "C'mon, let's go make a breakthrough!" he pointed towards his car and then snagged Bruce's hand to pull him him along, eager to show him that power converter he'd been mentioning.

god, bruce thought. This day could not get any better, really. He was about to do science, while on a date. He stumbled after tony, awkwardly tripping over his own feet to keep up with the man’s excited pace. “this is the best date ever” he said, just thinking outloud.
"/You're/ the best date ever," Tony countered as he tugged open the passenger door and held it open for his lab partner.

Bruce leaned over pressing a kiss to tony’s cheek in appreciation for him holding open the door. He knew had it been pretty much anyone else they would have gotten the ‘tough luck get your a** on the seat or I’m leaving you here’ speech. “You’re cute when You’re being nice.” he said with a smirk
The engineer stuck his tongue out at him in a raspberry and closed the door after him. He rounded the car again and got in on his side, slipping his shades back over his eyes for the drive back.

“I did intend for it to be a compliment, Mr. Sassy pants.” he said laughing as tony pulled his shades down while inside the car despite leaving them off the whole time they were actually in the sun. Oh god he thought, im dating a diva.
"Compliment accepted then," Tony said with a smirk. He started the ignition, and as per usual, revved the car a couple times before actually pulling away from the curb, turning a tight-U in the middle of the road.

An arrogant, obnoxious, self centered, adorable diva. he thought to himself, well there had to be some bad to even out the otherwise perfect man. ” If I die, Tell my mother i was doing something more heroic than driving home from a picnic in the park” he said with a laugh making a not so subtle jab at tony’s slightly flamboyant driving skills.
"I'll tell her that her fine young man went out catching superheroes falling from space," Tony nodded, eyes on the road. "She'll believe that, right?"

“yeah suure” he said wondering why he had brought up his mother at all, it was slightly sensitive… but he was sure tony understood that. “just try not to kill us, i haven’t even had a chance to flaunt you to the world yet.”
"I flaunt myself enough as is, you're going to start doing it too?" Tony laughed, pushing the accelerator down more to make it through a light that was about to turn red.

” I am going to put your pathetic flaunting to shame. Everyone in the world is going to know that you’re mine sweetheart. ” he said suddenly filled with a confidence that he didn’t normally posses. ******** he thought, This is your fault isnt it? He yelled at the hulk mentally tugging down the visor to not his bright green eyes. I do not know what kind of mating thing you’re into but don’t drag me into it alright? you can put your weird claim on him as yourself. He doesn’t seem to mind, But I am not a big fan of the whole limelight thing! Bruce huffed, crossing his arms over his chest.
"Sweetheart?" Tony blinked, glancing over at Bruce. The man seemed immensely distracted with his own reflection, so he decided not to bring it to further question.

“uh- yeah, slip of the tounge, sorry ill never do it again if it bothers you” he said still internally chastising the hulk. sweetheart, what the hell were you thinking, who calls tony stark sweetheart and makes it out without a few bumps and bruises other than pepper. Seriously, butt out. he thought glancing at his reflection happy to see that his eyes were fading back to their natural color he flipped the visor back up and smiled again. “sorry.” he repeated.
"I don't have anything against petnames," Tony said as he reclined back in his seat somewhat, letting an elbow rest out the window. "But don't be surprised if I start calling you 'babe'." His grin only seemed to get bigger, eyes hidden behind his dark glasses.

“I could get used to that” he said toothy smile almost reaching the edges of his face. “you’re sure you dont mind though?” he asked one eyebrow raised in question. He tried to read tony’s face but it was hard enough to do without the glasses now it was close to impossible.
"Yeah, it's cool," Tony smiled again. He turned into the entrance of his parking garage beneath the tower, the security system quickly scanning the signature on the vehicle and bringing up the gate so he could drive through.

Bruce laughed softly, they were becoming a walking talking gay cliche, And he was okay with that. Im sorry i snapped at you. But maybe you shouldn’t you know… fill me with anger so often and i wont snap as much. Though i should thank you, so…thanks. it felt weird to Bruce to thank the other guy after everything he had done. But he had to admit, tony seemed to like confidence on Bruce and well… he certainly didn’t have it himself at least not without a little help. “you do realize that your security system is a biiiit over the top right?” he said smiling as they parked among all the other intensely expensive cars. “though, with the amount of cars that you have…. I guess its a bit justified.
"I'd be /devestated/ if one of my babies walked off, especially the restored classics, I've invested /hours/ and thousands of dollars into those," Tony said as he parked and set the emergency brake. He pet the leather steering wheel of the R8, voice as close to a croon as it got, "Tony will keep you safe, honey, don't you worry."

Bruce just stared at his boyfriend stroking his car, “oooookay sweetie, you’ve been watching way too much supernatural. time for a reality check, You’re not dean, this isnt the impala, and I am not a gay angel that’s in love with you.” he said with a laugh poking fun of tony’s similarities to the resident badass on one of their favorite television shows. “lets go to the lab before you start to make out with it alright?”
"A Chevrolet Impala..." Tony stroked the short hairs of his beard thoughtfully, casting his glance around the garage. "Yeah, a '63 would be a nice addition... cherry red... lowered chasis... throw a supercharger on the engine to give it a little more kick..." The car-buff seemed quite enchanted by his own musings. "Could even re-engineer the trunk to accomodate a drop-down hardtop, then I could drive you around in it with the top down. You look absolutely lushious with the wind going through your hair, you know."
