Jeromy went and got dressed in a pair of blue jeans and a loose tee-shirt. He wasn't going to talk to Inari because he was afraid that it would start another arguement. He heard she was going to take a shower and heard the weakness in her tone. However, he said nothing to her before walking to the livingroom and slumping on the couch, wincing a bit as he hurt his chest. He thought about the fun he'd had with Inari and then about when she ran off. He wasn't going to openly blame her for him getting attacked by the mountain lion. Firstly because he knew that she already felt bad. And secondly because he had failed to mention that there were mountain lions that lived very close to the cabin or in the area for that matter. He knew that if they were just going to end up arguing that he'd have to take her home because if he got to agrivated he'd end up getting violent.

Inari had been sure that she had thought of everything. She had a towel but, now, she couldn't wear her blueberry infested clothes. After wrapping herself in a towel, she blushed, knowing what she had to do. Going out to the living room in a small, green towel that barely covered her butt made her whole body flush red. "Um...Jeromy..." she bit her lip, willing herself not to cry again, "I know we aren't exactly on speaking terms..." she winced, "But... I have nothing to wear..." she looked down. In a matter of seconds her head snapped up, "Nevermind, it's ok.. I'll... I'll stay in that bedroom in the towel till you take me home... Whenever... You should go get your stitches... I'll just go..." a tear has pooled in her eye and she turned, going to the room. Before, she hadnt wanted him to follow her, but now... She wanted him to make her feel better.

Jeromy looked up a bit at Inari, though didn't feel like talking. However he heard her mention not having anything to wear and he said, "It may not be something that you'd want to wear, but I might have something." He strained to get up and then headed to the wardrobe at the end of the hallway. He was lucky and found a long skirt, but he didn't know if Inari would wear it and he would have to let her use on of his shirts because he didn't have any other women's clothing in the cabin. He walked to the room Inari was using, after he got one of his old tee-shirts. He opened the door, tossed the clothes on the bed and just walked away, not saying a word.

Inari grimaced at the long, khaki skirt. It could be a dress! She just wore Jeromy's shirt. It was longer than the towel, and she would put the skirt on when they were leaving. She loved how the shirt smell; woodsy and manly, like Jeromy. Inari was no loner cross, just upset that Jeromy was so... What was he? Angry? Probably. Upset? Probably. All of them at her... And that cut the deepest. Swallowing her pride, Nari walked out to Jeromy. "Jeromy...I'm sorry for what I did... I'm sorry that I snapped at you and swore at you..." And you should be, too, she added bitterly in her head. "Please... Please don't be upset, because that hurts more than when you swear! When you don't talk! Please, Jeromy," she was hiding back tears....AGAIN! Why was she acting like a lovesick 14 year old!?

He had gone to lay on the couch again and when Inari came out and apologized he said, "I'm sorry too, but that won't change my mind about taking you home. I can't deal with the fighting and it could get bad if I got too mad....." He knew that it was going to probably hurt Inari's feelings, but he couldn't risk hurting her physically as well.{ooc: Sorry for the small post sweatdrop I had a longer post typed up before the internet went out and the post I had was deleted...}

Inari shrugged, "Don't bother... I'll hitchhike..." she said, nonchalantly. She went to the room and took off his shirt, putting the skirt on. "I'm sorry I ruined your life..." she murmured, dramatically before exiting the cabin. Now what? She began going down the trail, trying to find the road. "I should've just left him at the hospital... It would've been better like that..." she sniffed. ((Its ok ^_^ and sorry, too! I didn't see that you posted sweatdrop ))

Jeromy watched as Inari walked back to the room after saying she'd hitchhike. He knew that he couldn't let her do that because she may get picked up by someone that wouldn't take her home. He sat up and then forced himself to his feet, groaning. He headed out of the cabin and followed Inari. "Inari.. You can't just leave like this. You could get picked up by someone that will hurt you worse than I have if you hitchhike. And why would you say you ruined my life?" He replied as he continued following Inari. He had heard her mention that she should have left him when they were at the hospital and Jeromy stopped in his tracks. "Is that how it is? You really do want to leave don't you? Fine then. Get in my car, let me take you home and then we'll have no reason to talk with each other after that." He choked out. He knew if he let her go he'd be losing the best thing he ever had. Why was he so supid? But why did he care so much if she stayed or left?{Edit: Have to get off and may not be getting on anymore today..... If I do it'll be later tonight.}

Inari let out a frustrated scream. "Ugh! Jeromy!" she said and turned around, slowly stalking towards him. "I don't WANT to leave, Jeromy. I want to keep talking to you an I want to stay here and see you. But you're upset. And that because of me. And I'm cussing you grief." she explained, her voice exasperated. Please don't let me go... she thought. It was stupid to think he would still want her... But she could hope. ((You're back!(?)))

Jeromy saw Inari turn around and heard her saying she didn't want to leave. He also heard mention of her thinking she was causing him grief. "I don't think you're causing me grief. I'm just so used to being alone.... I don't really know how to act around people. I mean nice people. The way I've been acting is because I'm a bit confused is all. If I would've been around people that treated me kinder and didn't say I was street trash I may not be the way I am." He replied and looked down at his feet.{ooc: I'll be on for a little but. Inari bit her lip. She felt even worse than she had. "Jeromy..." she choked out. Gently, she put her hand on his arm, "Please don't be upset.. Please don't push me away..." she wasn't only talking about now, but when he swore at her. "Please don't hurt me..." it may have been selfish, but she could not take it anymore. ((Aw ok))

Jeromy looked up at Inari and said, "I don't mean to be upset, but it just happens sometimes. And as to me pushing you away; you've been pushing me away by trying to push things between us too far too fast." He didn't know what the reaction from Inari would be and he just waited. When he heard that she didn't want him to hurt her he raised an eyebrow. "Hurt you? You're the one that's getting attached and letting me hurt you when I push you away. You're way too attached to me. We barely know each other Inari." Jeromy didn't want to sound cold, but he knew that Inari was getting way too attached to him when they'd only met a few days earlier.

Inari's eye narrowed. "You know what, Jeromy? Take me home. Leave me alone. And don't come back." she growled, fed up. He was the only guy she had ever felt attracted to, and this was why. Boys hurt you. Maybe she would just become a nun... Be married to Jesus, or whatever. She went over to the car passenger door, "Open the car, Jeromy." she wouldn't say 'Jer' anymore, ever. She got into the far and looked out the window, crossing her arms. "35 Fole way." she said, her voice betraying her and showing how much she didn't want this.

Jeromy sighed at Inari before going inside, getting his socks and shoes on then grabbed his car keys. He unlocked the car and then go into the driver's seat. "Get in and I'll take you home." Was all he said as he started his car. He heard that Inari's voice was giving away that she didn't really want to go, but Jeromy was fed up with everything that was going on. True, he didn't want her to go, but he didn't know if it would work out between them because of all the fighting. His eyes watered a bit, though he blinked the tears away, not wanting Inari to see how upset he was.

Inari bit her lip. How did she think that she liked him? She couldn't have... It was lust, not like. She wanted to he home and never see Jeromy again! She had been so stupid! She was Mr.Curneels daughter and Jeromy was... He was a street rat! She couldn't be with him, she wouldn't be with him.... She didn't want to be with him. Ok, that was a bold faced lie, but she... She just didn't want him, right now. "almost there?" she asked.

Jeromy said nothing the whole drive to Inari's house. He wasn't happy about the fact that he let himself be so cold and cruel, but it was just who he was. He really didn't know if he could change that. There was a possibility, but he would need a lot of positive support. Though, he wasn't sure there was anyone that cared enough to help him with his problems. He thought of Inari, however, he knew she wanted nothing more of him, so he dropped the thought of her helping immediately. When he saw 35 Fole Way he pulled up and said, "Here we are. You can get out and you'll be rid of me for good. I was planning on moving from my place anyways." Jeromy said, dropping the last part like a bombshell.
