Marcus sighed as he thought about his real reasons. "Well you are right that the injuries were a part of it, though not because I felt sorry for you or anything. I saw that as you're determination to try and fix what had been done, which means that deep down even though you may act mean towards me or just blow off my advances, you do like me to some extent. Whether that becomes more than just liking me is up to you, but the other reason was because you did all that just to apologize to me. You actually took the time to find me and make sure you explained what you had done and why you were sorry. I could tell that you were actually regretting what you did and I figured I could forgive you and give you another chance."
