"Someone else was pregnant?" Asalah thought silently. She spoke up and said, "Dear, we should maybe go and see Prince Cure's daughter or at least you should. I don't know what to say or do about this situation so go to him and figure this out." Asalah felt slightly worried for Cure's wife even though she'd never met him. If Malik was under this curse, so then Cure was which meant that Cure's wife had already been pregnant for a little while. It must have hurt badly.

"Not with you going into labor in about three hours. I will not leave you. I don't care for Cure anyways. He doesn't know how to love his wives. There only purpose is to bare sons not to be his queen." He told his wife. He hugged her. He wanted her safe in his arms. a urgent sounding knock came from the door. "Come in." He called out as a new guard came in with an aged woman and a child. "I was the midwife for Princess Tien Li. Please I beg you to take in her child." The woman said offering the child up. "Her father didn't want her in his sights." She added. Malik gently pushed his wife off of him as he stood up. Cure was older and his mother wasn't a minor wife like his was. That meant that once one of Cure's wives had a son that he would have a straight shot to becoming king. "I can not agree to it. It is my queen's choice." The midwife looked at the woman.

Alfina was wandering outside the city, just hoping to take her mind off the recent hardship she had discovered. One of the men in the village had started making unwanted advances on her, and no matter how many times she turned him down, he still made attempts. It was really starting to get on her nerves and she was hoping to find some way to get him to back off for good.
All this was running through her mind until she found a man in the desert, shirtless, handsome, and praying. He looked like he had just suffered some great hardship much like what she was dealing with now, if not worse. She came up quietly as she could so as not to disturb him. She sat down close by him, easily within arms reach, and waited and watched him. She did her best not to make noise because, from the look of him, he was a strong noble and could easily have her killed whenever he wanted to.

Malik was thinking the same thing as his wife. He thought it was best to take the child in, but he didn't want to do it without his wife's permission. "We'll say our child and this child are twins. That way it wont make us look like we're kidnappers at all. If my brother abandoned her then he doesn't want to know she's alive. I'm sure she'll be beautiful. I saw her mother before she was given to my brother. She had long beautiful dark hair and exotic beauty of the far east." The man commented. The children would be close enough in age to do so. He then turned to the midwife. "Please stay until after my wife gives birth. We'll need all the help we can with two children. Did he name her at all?" The man asked. "No my lord. She doesn't have a name." The prince then turned to his wife. "What shall we name her?"

"It sounds like a name that her mother should have given her. I don't want her to be recognized as Cure's daughter over my own. We need to think of something that is from this country. How about Sarah?" He asked his wife. Sarah sounded more like a name that a desert beauty would have. It really didn't matter too much what their own child was called.

"Sarah sounds like a fine name." Asalah stated as she agreed with her husband. "It would actually be good to hide her with her name probably." Asalah had not considered the fact that Cure might attack his own daughter if she held the name Asalah suggested. She held out her arms to the midwife and said, "Since she is our new daughter. Then please let me hold her once before I too must go into labor."

Alfina bowed. "Thank you, my lord. That you would take notice is an honor." She said in thanks.
"If I may be so bold... You appear troubled. Is there something I may help with?" She asked. The worry and distress this man had was written clear on his face, or at least, it was in her eyes. She was often told that she had only to look into a person's face to read everything they were feeling at that time. She herself didn't think it was true, but it was almost unnatural how well she could read people.

The midwife shook her head no. "I'm afraid it would give him more of a reason. He told me that I should be glad that he didn't kill her in front of my eyes. He even told the servant to send her to the streets." The older woman told the younger. Malik understood. "So if we tell him 'oh by the way this is the daughter you abandoned then it'll just give him a strong reason to finish what he was thinking of starting." The prince had already welcomed the baby into his family, there was no way he could let a treasure be taken from the world.
