 Lorelai slowly worked her way through the pot of broth her grandfather had left for her and spent the time waiting for her strength to return sleeping off and on. It was during one of her short bouts of wakefulness that Kaede had come in and gave Lorelai the remedy Kurama had made for her illness. After taking it, Lorelai had meant to ask Kaede if she had an escape route planned just in case they had to evacuate the village, but had fallen asleep again before she could even get the question out. When she woke again, Lorelai finally felt re-energized and was actually able to leave the hut. She made her way down to Kurama and bowed politely before giving him a shy smile. "Um...thank you for the remedy you sent. I feel much better now." Lorelai suddenly noticed Masato at looked at him with curiosity in her eyes due to his strange clothes. "H'llo, I'm not sure we've met. You're not from around here, are you?" Come to think of it, the girl with Inuyasha was wearing strange clothes as well. Suddenly realizing she had yet to tell them her name, Lorelai blushed in embarrassment and gave both Kurama and Masato a sheepish smile. "Please forgive my rudeness, I'm afraid I've forgotten to introduce myself. My name is Lorelai Dannehur. I also go by Lori, so either one is fine. I'm pleased to meet you both." Lorelai bowed politely to each of them and gave another shy smile as she waited for their response.

•Mine?: A wide variety of herbs and Mekai plants "You should never corner an animal such as a fox...we have a tendency to show our fangs" ▇▇▇▇▇▇▇▇▇▇▇▇▇▇▇▇▇▇▇ ▇▇ ▇▇▇▇ ▇▇ ▇▇ Evening is beginning to settle as the elder Kitsune settled in the middle of the village to meditate. Kurama continued to powder his dry herbs to store for easy use later. He had made a profit off of his selection of herbs for both cooking and for medicinal purposes. The village women found many herbs to roost up their cooking, he had enough money for now. Masato-kun's shikigami were interested in what he was doing and so was the human in question. He commented about how he knew his herbs. A small modest smile formed on the Fox demon's lips as he ground the herb into powder. He had set aside a pouch that he allowed none of the villagers to touch. the pouch was made of pockets and sections. It was where he got those seeds he had planted around the wards from. He had a fair amount of other types of mekai plants in their seed form stored there as well. "Evening is approaching, if you would like to, Masako-kun would you gather up the viles and herbs on the canvas to carefully put them away in this bag. There are bamboo strips to tie the raw herbs together and bay leafs to wrap the powdered stuff in." he handed Masako a seperate bag from his mekai plants to gather up the safe stuff to put away.
The young half-breed woman, grandchild to the Elder emerged from the Lady priestess hut and approached them, she bowed and thanked him for the medicines. He bowed his head in return. "You are most welcome, Lori. I am called, Kurama. I am pleased that you are feeling better." he smiled at her kindly. ▇▇▇▇▇▇▇▇▇▇▇▇▇▇▇▇▇▇▇ ▇▇ ▇▇▇▇ ▇▇ ▇▇

Lorelai gave Kurama a wide friendly grin in return as she asked, "By the way, have you seen Kaede anywhere? Gramps wanted me to ask around the village and see if they had an escape route planned out in case of emergencies, but I figured Kaede would be the one to know that since she's the head of the village." Lorelai wore a puzzled frown as she added, "Unfortunately, I can't seem to find her anywhere. Since I have no fighting skills to speak of, Gramps wanted me to help with the evacuation. I still feel like I'm unprepared. If I wind up making a mistake, I could put everyone in danger." Lorelai's expression turned to one of worry as she voiced her fear. Her grandfather had entrusted her with what she knew was an important task.The last thing Lorelai wanted to do was botch it up, but she figured there was a possibility since she had no idea what she was doing.

Go Shikigami!  Evening seem to draw closer, time sure passed by at a moment's notice. Masato gladly accepted the occupation of taking care of his assortment of herbs and powders. With slow gesture of movement, he began to gather the materials from the canvas. There were different and unique types, but it may take a moment to learn this on his own. Picking up the vials, he stuff them carefully into the bag with a careful gesture of movement. It would be a problem if he did it so quickly, not that it was an efficient way of quickly storing them. With the fact that they could break at times, Kurama may be upset over his reckless action. With the vials safely stored, the next objective was the herbs. Searching through his bag, he came across the strips that he was looking for. He tied them separately by the shape and color, but he had no skill in deducting what kind of herbs they were. With a moment of uncertainty, he stuff them into their respective pouches. Lastly, the powder was left to be put away. He scratched the back of his head, he wasn't exactly sure what bay leaves were. Rummaging through the bag, he found green thick leaves, but unsure if they were correct. "Are these the leaves for the powder?" Reckless action was unneeded, he was sure that wrapping around with the wrong leaf shouldn't push him on the edge, but who knew?
One Shikigami sniffed the leaves that he held in his grasp, soon both of their vision turned to a female yokai dressed in green. Masato turn his attention to the girl from before, she had fell ill before recovering. "No, we haven't." Shaking his head, obviously this was their first encounter to have a chat. "It's alright." A small smile appeared, like Kurama that she too was a respectable person. "It's nice to meet you, Lori. You can call me Masato." The two Shikigami stared at the woman, mewing in their form of greeting. Location - Kaede's Village

((OOC: Since I made Lorelai a fox hanyou, I thought it would be more fitting to tweak her appearance a bit.)) Lorelai's smile widened as she replied to Masato, "H'llo, Masato." Lorelai couldn't help but look disappointed as she asked, "Oh...so neither of you have seen her recently? Well, thank you anyway. I was hoping to learn the route in advance so I wouldn't get lost or something of the sort. Perhaps I should act as the rear guard instead." Lorelai's attention was suddenly turned to the two Shikigami and she knelt down to be at a closer eye level with them. "Aw, who are your friends? Do they have names?" Addressing the Shikigami, Lorelai gave another wide smile as she cheerfully stated to them, "You two are so cute!"

 Shippo had been following the Old Man around, watching him form his barrier. "My name is Shippo. Thank you for helping to protect this village. It means a lot to all of us. Even if Inuyasha doesn't show it." He gave the elder fox a smile. Looking back, he watched all the wolves roam through the village, sniffing and harmlessly exploring. There were a few puppies from the black and silver clan, Tsuki's, that were playing with the children in the village. He smiled, feeling more comfortable about all the new demons and people coming into the village. He glanced over at Masato. He was dressed in strange clothes like Kagome. Shippo wondered if he was from the same time. He turned back to the old fox, deciding to investigate later. Kino was sitting on the roof of one of the houses. She was twirling her hair in her fingers idly. She watched Masato and Kurama as they talked to Lori-chan. She watched as Masato's Shikigami played with the young fox girl. Kino smiled. She took a deep breath. She wouldn't be able to spend the entire time just watching. She'd have to talk to them. Kurama unsettled her nerves. She'd been attracted to men before, some more than others. But she felt like this one was different. Perhaps because he was a fox demon and close to her age. Perhaps because he wasn't prone to violence like other demons. She smiled at Lorelai's fawning over the Shikigami. She knew the girl was looking for the old woman who protected the village. Kaede... I wonder how old the woman has gotten..Kaede allowed Kino and her siblings in the village often, so long as they kept their abilities and wolves in check. She was curious as to why the trio had never crossed Inuyasha's path before. But then it had been a while since they'd returned here. She sighed and closed her eyes. She shifted into the form of an orange-red fox and leapt off the building. She slowly trotted over to Masato and Lorelai and Kurama, mewing happily at the Shikigami.

In the midst of his meditation, Gramps looked down as he noticed someone was talking to him and smiled when he recognized the little fox demon. "It's my pleasure, Shippo. Despite what most demons seem to believe, I think all life is precious. It doesn't matter if someone is human, demon, or hanyou. All three races have a right to exist in this world. I've come to like this village. It's nice and peaceful here. I hope to do whatever I can to make sure it stays that way." While he talked, Gramps was still paying enough attention to the barrier to ensure it stayed intact. He gave Shippo an apologetic smile as he realized it sounded like he was giving a lecture. "Eh, sorry lad. It's not very often I get to share my opinions with others for fear of boring them to death."

After about an hour since the wards around the village have gone up, and the disappearance of the one who weilds Tessaiga has encouraged the demons in the entire region and neiboring regions to rouse themselves from the countryside. this puny village has been a thorn in the Mononke's side for too long. So without its greatest protector, all of the demons began to merge and converge on the area that is the village. The sky itself darkened with what may be thunder clouds as an anomonous wind picks up blowing through the trees. The scent of demons begin to fill the air everywhere. The fur on the wolves would begin to stand up and they would begin to growl out warnings facing in every direction around the village as what would be masses of lights looming out of the trees and over the space where the village ought to be. Hundreds of them...possibly thousands of them. All weak vermin but in strong numbers. Their goal... Terminate all life in this area. But, for the moment they hover over where the village should be because of the old Foxes wards, as more of then number begin to gather overhead and from the forests around the village. They are in for one tough fight.

•Mine?: A wide variety of herbs and Mekai plants "You should never corner an animal such as a fox...we have a tendency to show our fangs" ▇▇▇▇▇▇▇▇▇▇▇▇▇▇▇▇▇▇▇ ▇▇ ▇▇▇▇ ▇▇ ▇▇ Kurama watched with a smile as Masato's shikigami played with Lori, the other kitsnue, lady Kino had morphed herself into her fox form to come play with the shikigami and Lori as well. It seemed to be very peaceful with the village full of wolves and Foxes. But then the peace is disrupted as he picked up the scent of demons in the area. Not the demons in the village but beyond the village, wild vermin in hordes massing outside the wards. He stood up abruptly and grew tense staring up at the sky as dark purple and black thunder clouds blocked out the evening sunset and rumbled across the sky. Many lights formed in the sky surrounding the village, demons that are land based were coming out of the forest...
"Not good...Lori, Lady Kino, Masako we need to gather the villagers here, we them all together, if they get through the wards then it will be hard pressed to protect everyone scattered! Have the wolves set up a premeter around the villagers we all need to stick together!" He suited his words to actions and rushed to shout to the villages to gather around Lady Kaede's hut and stay together. ▇▇▇▇▇▇▇▇▇▇▇▇▇▇▇▇▇▇▇ ▇▇ ▇▇▇▇ ▇▇ ▇▇

Helping to restore balance. It was one of her jobs as a Guardian of the Planet Earth. Many questioned her attire, but she then questioned them on their attire which in turn led to a stale mate. After plenty of questioning a village a few ways off from Kaede's village had stated that the last they saw of the girl, she was headed for that village. Apparently an elderly priestess also resided there. While walking she came upon a forest that was rumored to have been the exact place where Kikyo sealed Inuyasha to a tree. Although it was also rumored that Kagome had freed Inuyasha. Why would she do such a thing? While walking she came upon the village, but immediately sensed the barrier. It would do little to stop her from entering, but nevertheless, she continued moving forwards. Her blonde hair swayed back and forth as her pace increased while searching for the only girl not wearing the normal clothing of the time. She had seen a few wolves, but they looked as though they were guarding the village.
Leaving them to that, she continued up the staircase that lead to the hut where the old priestess was rumored to reside. When she reached the top she sensed very strong amounts of power residing in some of the humans in the immediate area. After closely examining the those in the immediate area she picked out the demons from the humans. Unfortunately there was a far greater threat. Turning away from the gathered group now she looked towards the thousands of demons that had gathered outside of the barrier. " Their coming.." spoke Sailor Venus as she watched the demons all slam down against the barrier in unison. In but five slams against it, the demons would have shattered the barrier. Now the cries of the thousands of demons that thirsted for blood ripped through the area. There was a moment of stillness from everyone now as a harsh breeze blew through the village that would soon become a battle field. The red headed male had ordered his companions to gather the villagers. In little time, many of the villagers began running up the steps to Lady Kaede's hut.
However as the villagers continued running and screaming, the demons began their attack. " I am Sailor Venus, Guardian of the Earth. I will not allow you to do any harm to this village or its inhabitants.." exclaimed Sailor Venus. " Crescent Beam!" Two crescent moons collided above her head before she raised her right index finger up to touch them. She lowered her right arm to point at her target as her left arm came to rest on her elbow, then shot a beam of light from her index finger. Keeping her arm secured on her elbow, she turned slightly causing her Crescent Beam to act as a blast of energy and wipe out the first row of demons giving the villagers a chance to make it to the hut. Her hair was tussled around violently now because of the winds that were being stirred due to the battle that was beginning. Putting her hands down now she looked around to make sure the villagers were behind them all. The wolves on the ground seemed to be taking out any demons that were low enough to the ground to drag down.

Go Shikigami! Both Shikigami jumped off, playfully running around the fox yokai. They wagged their tails and their muzzles twitched in excitement. Masato glanced down at the two creatures, these two have been hardly met but their relation to the previous fox he had taken care have similar mannerisms. The point of being friends was rather effortless, he stroked the two when approaching to his own person. "No, they don't have any names. They happen to appear nearby when we were outside of the village." Staring deep into their beady eyes, his own reflection upon the surface of their eyelids. "You can say we're friends now." Their reaction of being scratch was amusing, their barks and yelps of wanting more than accounted for. Upon the cries of an animal of familiarity, there happen to be another fox amongst them. Masato and the Shikigami have their attention caught on the newly arrival. He hadn't seen a wild fox outside other than these two white fur balls of fun.
Unfortunately, a rather unpredictable thunderstorm crossed their path. The sky had darken and lightning wildly spread, the winds caught onto them from the distance. The sound of wolves alarmed Masato, he was rather concerned over the reaction they were receiving. Something was approaching, he could feel it through the bones within him. Kurama had alerted them of the arrival of unwelcome visitors, yokai have assembled in the forest that Masato anticipated. He nodded, with his own will to gather the villagers to safety. The two Shikigami leaped into his jacket, hiding their presence from the naked eyes of the living. Soon, he gathered as much as he could to into a group towards the hut. He kept calm of their situation, they were safe against the demons temporarily until they could come up with something. Quick thinking wouldn't be possible at the moment, the horde of yokaibattered against the giant barrier. He was uncertain of the limits the barrier would possess, but it may not see to defend them for long. It was till the barrier had reached its peak, with them rushing recklessly into a frenzy.
An unknown appearance that he wasn't expected to see, a woman in a sailor attire. Whether this was bad time to judge someone's clothing, the yokai were here to do the one instinct he had seen yesterday, killing. The stranger had wiped out a section of yokai in the vicinity, but it wasn't enough with the others flooding in. The wolves guarding were doing their best to halt the demons from advancement. Two demons had approached the group passing their wolf guards. Startled from their approach, standing around would get him killed if he wasn't acting a lot sooner. Their talons and claws coming in for the kill, Masato stood there in a trance of this quick defeat. Whispers calling to him, to fend off the demons. Testing him of his mentality, his actions to accumulate and to oppress the aggressors. The urge to counterattack, to muster up his will and concentrate. Both Shikigami launched from his jacket, drilling into them with sheer speed. It wasn't long till the two yokai were vanquished from impalement. The two foxes barked. "Thanks." To be saved by two little animals, on the bright side he was alive. He traced back to the invading yokai, they would have to be dealt with.Location - Kaede's Village

•Mine?: A wide variety of herbs and Mekai plants "You should never corner an animal such as a fox...we have a tendency to show our fangs" ▇▇▇▇▇▇▇▇▇▇▇▇▇▇▇▇▇▇▇ ▇▇ ▇▇▇▇ ▇▇ ▇▇ In the attempt to round up the villagers to the hut and shrine atop the stairs, he had not noticed a blond woman come into the village. He had only noticed her when she came up the stairs. The woman had long gold blond hair and wore a very skimpy outfit, showing off her long pale legs. That skirt came only a few inches below her lower woman regions which meant that it was very short. The woman is about asking for every pervert human or demon alike to come hit on her with that gettup. Or just about every male in the vicinity mated or not would turn heads. As it were, Kurama himself is staring too much already, a blush crept onto his cheeks, now is not the time to oogle a strange woman. As the hordes of demons slammed into the old Fox's barrier, once, twice, on the third attempt the wards failed. Kurama focused instantly on his blood and reached out his youki to all of the seeds he planted all around the village, his blood seeped into the seads and they each seemed to pop like popcorn.
Growing at an unatural rate until many towering (Venus Fly Traps) plants rose with many tentickles ending in a giant gaping mouth in the center of tenteckle like arms, toped with a stem with yet another mouth that spewed out youki and acid. The plants dwarfed the village like a giant cage. It is a good thing none of the villagers are near them as the plants do not distingwish enemy from ally, all is plant food. They honed in on the demons like moths to a flame and mouths shot out to snatch demons out of the air and of off of the ground, demon blood splattered everywhere as they were squeezed and popped like slightly rotted fruit in the grasp of his mekai plants. Some panicked horses or live stock also got snapped up by his plants.
The Demons had little choice but to dive down from the sky at the center of the village to get to anyone in the village. Those that tried to charge through his cage of mekai plants became plant food. A whole swaft of the demons were turned into ashes by a beam of light energy the blond girl shot out, she called herself 'Sailor Venus' and would stand and not allow the demons to harm the people. Like some champion of Justice. The demons that got too close Kurama removed his Rose Whip and struck demons out of the sky his whip riping through demon flesh easily. ▇▇▇▇▇▇▇▇▇▇▇▇▇▇▇▇▇▇▇ ▇▇ ▇▇▇▇ ▇▇ ▇▇

The male with the red hair had planted multiple Venus Fly Traps that devoured any demon that came within their range, and the other male had released a few Shikigami. The red headed male had given her a great idea through the use of his whip. " Venus Love Me Chain.." As she spoke, a chain of golden energy would have circled her body multiply times. When she took hold of the chain itself, a loud clanking noise showing just how strong the chains were could be heard. With a whip of her arm, the chain launched forwards cutting straight through multiple demons. Bringing her arm around once more now, the chain wrapped itself around one of the flying demon's necks. While holding it firmly in the air, the creature began to wail for help. With this however, she pulled it forwards towards herself, before leaping off into the air. Since the demon had been lowered significantly, landing atop of it was little work.
Once on top of the beast, it began to struggle and try to knock her off. Placing her hand on its head, a pure light began to shine from her hand. This in turn made the beast immediately stop jerking. Now that she had taken control of the beast, she switched her chain to her left hand now as she brought the beast low to the ground near the red male. " Come with me." spoke Venus. There was little time to waste. Regardless of whether or not the male jumped aboard with ease was not her concern as she took off into the air again. Now she would fly around the front lines of the demons waiting for the male to attack them.

The Sailor scout seemed to get an idea from him for she formed a chain of linked energy hearts to which she lassoed to her a demon to control and use as a mount. She guided the captured demon down and beckoned him to come with her. He Obliged and jumped up onto the demon with her holding his balance on careful footing as she guided the demon up into the sky. Kurama flung his whip left and right tearing up demons in his wake. He needed to try something different though. Kurama draws the Rose Whip and swings it around him in a circle, as rose petals scatter around and stun his opponents, while the wheel created from the whip unleashes cresent-shaped energy blades. "Rose Whip Thorn Wheel!" The crescent shaped energy blades slaughtered 3 times as many demons as he whipped the rose whip over his and Sailor Venus's head like a fast moving Laso. ▇▇▇▇▇▇▇▇▇▇▇▇▇▇▇▇▇▇▇ ▇▇ ▇▇▇▇ ▇▇ ▇▇

 ㊋Ҝɩɳѻҝɑ Ѧɩɾɩ㊋ Kino's eyes widened and a swirl of flames surrounded her when the demons began to attack. A blonde was shouting and she could hear all the wolves growling and fighting. When the flames disappeared, Kino was standing in human form. Her dark black locks had changed to a fiery red and she now wore a different outfit. A hiss rose from her throat and she turned, a jet of bright fire erupting from her palm. She torched the demons coming behind her. She glanced up, watching the new girl and Kurama dispatching the flying demons. She watched as the wolf packs worked together to move the villagers to safety and take care of demons in the way. A blade sliced her arm. She turned and faced a demon holding a chain-scythe. Glaring at him, she let out a short huff. She focused on starting a fire within the demons gut. Suddenly, it caught fire and flailed until it dropped to the ground. She turned again and more jets of crimson flames emerged from her hands as she set fire to the outer rings of demons that were far enough to evade Kurama's whip.
A large bull-like demon tackled her and her fire was put out by the dirt. Kino struggled under the demon's weight, hissing and growling. Her arms sprouted flames and the rest of her body followed suit shortly after. The demon jumped back and she stood to face him. She was very angry now. The demon swung it's axe and rumbled at her. It didn't seem to be bothered by the inferno of a woman in front of him.
Shippo was frozen in fear as the demons started after the village. He turned to the old fox and his grand-daughter. "Help me get the villagers safe!"
