Mercy was busy tugging on the rope that encased the hunter she was fighting when an arrow lodged intself into her arm. "Gahh." she screamed, letting go of the vine she had made into a lasso. Another one landed into her leg and she scrambled to distance herself a bit. In her effort to pull out the arrows, she ended up getting a retaliating hit from the hunter she had attacked. Whoops, looked like she pissed the hunter's boyfriend off, and thats why she had gotten these arrows. She took one and whispered a return spell on it and threw it at the guy. One arrow out of her, another one to go, maybe more she didn't really want to look down. Here she was only trying to help the green scaled student in the first place. ------------------------ (( OOC: Character Name: Mercy HP: 4/30 Target: Bix Damage: 1 !! It was always something unfair to see the hunters double team people but then again she kept biting a hand that told her to stop. It was like a flash of white, she didn't know what would come next, but she hit the ground and thought about trying to get up.
It was hard to move, she was bleeding badly, and the gash to her face was making her vision hazy. What would happen now to her? Was she going to go along with the flowers, like with Riley? The flowers, the calm, the vines.
Chuppi was suddenly very scared.

"Chew on this a while," Harrison snarled.
Harrison wasn't a Sun Hunter. The jab wasn't hard enough to dissipate the lizard, or even knock it out, but he pushed the blade in. Then he pushed it in again.
At the end of the day, he just really liked stabbing things.

[enter] He knew before he even saw her: Reine was here. Her scent carried faintly across the room, teasing that she was just out of his reach, somewhere he couldn't quite see. Knowing that Ash was safe and home was a motivator in its own way, but knowing that she was here, that the horsemen might... whatever they wanted to do with hunters...pushed him over the edge. He couldn't be passive any longer. The vines would pose a bit of a problem to the less agile legs of his humanoid form - an easy fix. The pin was off and he was weaving through the plant life, moving towards the other side of the room, following her scent- -and there was Chuppi, entangled in the vines and unmoving, a hunter standing above her. His claws scratched into the snaking stems as he slowed himself, barking at her attacker. "Stop!" he warned, glancing back at the little chupacabra. "She doesn't need to suffer. Leave her alone." Harrison looked up at the shouting. ...Another dog kid.
He hesitated, sword poised for another strike, but in the end just shrugged, flipping the blade around and standing up.
He looked at the fat lizard, who was breathing shallowly and quickly getting eaten by plants. It was down, but still conscious, and whatever the plants were doing to it body didn't look good. But B0nez was charged, and Harrison could be fair.
"Alright. ...You want to be the one to put her out of her misery, you're welcome to it."

Put her out of her misery? His ears flattened sadly against his head. He couldn't do that. Closing the space between them, he placed a gentle paw on her hand and a cool nose to her cheek. "It's gonna be okay," he offered quietly. Would she? Did the vines hurt less than the hunter's attacks would have? He couldn't help thinking that, in spite of his best intention, he might have made things worse for her. "Don't worry. Just go to sleep, and you'll wake up all better. It's gonna be okay." He didn't sound very sure of himself. The hunter got a threatening look - as threatening as a fluffy knee-high dog could manage - and Thackery pushed himself to move forward. When he finally reached her, he was even less sure of himself. The scent was right, but her hair was much shorter...and she stood facing Tybalt. Another black dog. He hung back, worried that she thought she fought him, fearing once more what might happen if someone saw them together, saw them not fighting... It was quick, as discreet as he could be, but he lapped at Reine's hand and kept a slight distance. Maybe it would be enough to stop the battle between them, at least. He didn't think he could watch -- or handle it. I'm sure Riley would want that!" He released his suction? Freeing the ghoul. "If you get hurt. There won't be anyone around to heal you." The strike came down heavy against his flank, a stinging thud that tingled angrily through his bones. Had the hunter attacking Chuppi decided to attack him instead? Fur bristling, he turned to reiterate the warning, realizing that it wasn't the same hunter at all. Oh. He reflexively moved to retaliate, stopping himself at the last possible moment. If she didn't already hate him, taking her frustration out on dogs that looked like him, hurting someone on her side right where she could see didn't seem like the wisest choice. He was a proud Cerberus, but sometimes it felt more like a chaotic burden than much of an honor, with no way to really win in the end. He had no regrets, in spite of it; just wishes upon wishes of an easier coexistence. Thackery stood his ground, a low growl rolling from his throat. Put the thing out of it's misery, he heard someone call. Jerry wobbled, feeling a bit distant now, mind racing as he caught sight of a flash of icy hooks and matted black hair- Sasha was here! No time to check on her, tend to the creatures. This room, despite the vines, was far safer seeming than the last room they had been in at least. With a look to the greenish, red-eyed creature in the vines by Harrison, he gave a small frown before hefting up his canon and pulled the trigger. Bix took barely a scratch from the reaper ghoul before letting another few arrows fly. Ariane had gotten a nice hit in as well and when the final arrow hit he watched her dissipate away. The albino hunter didn't even bat an eye. To the Halloweeners that may have been a big deal but to the hunter she was just another enemy and knowing she just reformed somewhere else didn't make him anymore sympathetic. Harrison stepped warily aside, but let the dog...nuzzle and lick and whatever else he wanted to do with the lizard. As long as it wasn't biting people.
