She brought her weapon down in another sweep, only to jump back just as the creature sent another flurry of ice crystals her way. Shoot, at this rate--
"Clerise?!" Her eyes widened in surprise as the woman jumped in front of her, effectively deflecting some of the damage away from her. Eva kept her arms up, waiting until the ice attack was over before she shot Clerise another wide-eyed look. "What are you...?"
There was a pause as she let her words sink in, and then the expression on Eva's face changed to a weak, sheepish smile. "Sorry, I just thought..." Trailing off, she shook her head, "Nevermind. Thanks for the help--I appreciate it!"

Candace got back to the cannons in time to sink a giant harpoon right into the tentacle monster. It was pretty amazing.
Back at the cannons, Harrison had a better view of the battlefield. Keeping an eye on Candace required a certain amount of tunnelvision. He couldn't allow himself to think about...about everybody else. But actually, it looked like things were going okay. People were sticking to their marks. Nobody was bleeding- s**t.
"Be right back, don't kill anything until I am," Harrison said.
This time when the tentacle slammed Jude backwards, Harrison was there to catch him in what could only be described as a princess carry.

He was still standing even as he exchanged a fresh round of hits with the tentacle. But hey there was someone helping him or rather carrying him. Jude stared up at Harrison with wide eyes as Yom vibrated within his hands, "JUST LET ME HIT ONE MORE THING. JUST ONE MORE THING!!"

Ami nodded at Syd and pointed to another tentacle. Now she wasn't even trying to help really, she was just giving the girl a head's up before the tentacle came smashing down on her.
Truthfully, she probably could've helped more if she was out there hitting it, but hey- at least she was doing something.

Rep fell back to watch the collective disaster that was the rush of the trainees.
"You might want to find a ******** buddy and s**t, like right?"
His attention turned to the obviously crazy blonde man who kept incessantly attacking, even though he was clearly rather maimed. Seemed Harrison had the same idea, and even as the other hunter carried him, he slapped a bandage on Jude. Hopefully enough to avoid him dying.
And gave Harrison a toothy grin without a word before wandering off again.

"Thanks," Syd said sarcastically as she was hit hard again. At least she managed to get a good shot off, she thought as she hit the ground and slid a bit. "I got a charge," she added, heading off to charge Harpoon 3.

Feng tried to get up after the last hit, but couldn't. His knee was aching horribly. He took out the bandage and wrapped it up tight until he felt it would give him some support and took a second to breathe. This stuff was more difficult that he could have imagined.

Mercedes was once again here the whole time yep. Because most of her shots at missed by now, and full on chaos erupted leaving BODIES AND DEATH AND s**t ALL OVER THE GROUND Mercedes did the smart thing and just avoided those tentacles like a mother ********. After seeing H fall victim to them she wasn't going to go in all willy nilly. Besides, by now his watchful eye was disabled, she could do all the god damned healing and helping she wanted. Hadjoc of course didn't like it. A fellow mist was taking some heavy damage and the girl rushed over, much like Candace, and worked to help him out the best she could. "It's all I can - GAH! do-" It was hard to help when the ground was so unstable. HP:40/40 Division: Mist as Life

Candace had been about to head into the heat of battle again when she noticed a trainee in a Mist coat..bandaging himself. He looked awful. Who was that again? Ah, yes. Feng. "Feng!" She called out to get his attention, gliding over the ice to get to him quickly. "Back down if your shield gets too low, okay? Or at least get a moon hunter to defend you...here." Candace got out another bandaid, putting it on his forehead with a grin. "Feel better?" She was not letting anyone else ******** die, okay? The grin was very forced, her eyes still glistening with tears she was working so hard to hold back. HP: 47/50

Hell no. Only one more hit - Kouki was hissing, urging her on. Madison grimly dodged another strike, then tumbled as a tentacle she hadn't seen sideswiped her. But she came up with blades flashing, driving the swords through yet another waste of freak flesh-
We have it, Kouki hissed, jubilantly. Take ussss in!
"Don't gotta tell me twice," she muttered, scrambling upwards and heading for the nearest gun.

Robert eyed Jude carefully, taking in the state of his wounds, and just how many bandages had been used on him, before he shrugged and pulled out a small box from his pocket, popping a straw into it. Sure, there was a huge tentacle fight going on around him, but he was thirsty.He sucked on the straw noisily a moment, continuing to vacantly stare while Harrison caught him in his arms, and watched the super gay moment unfold before him. Better Jude than me, Robert supposed, but still, he wasn't going to be happy. He moved over to stand in front of Harrison and his prize, before holding the juice box out to Jude. "Wanna sip?" He looked like he could use it.
