Men banged through the doors.But they werent the fanatics like the others.These were highly trained assassins and hunters.Still fanatci to an extent still believing all vampires were evil but lately they had tried to start an research group.To "study" vampires.Their weaknesses strengths and ulitmately find out all they can about them.For others it would be a great discovery but to them.More weaknesses but they were turned down until they got a vampire to study."We have come for the vampire.Get away from it miss its dangerous"

 Shalendra Naevys Shalendra quickly moved in front of Mikhail, "I was the one who brought him here, and he is not dangerous!" she shouted at the assassins as she stayed close to her love. Her wings sprouted out as she blocked their view of him, she wasn't going to let anyone take Mikhail away from her, too many times they had come close to losing one another, and she wasn't going to let it happen again.

The men moved to hurt her and Mikhail hissed stepping infront of her."Touch her and I will get dangerous." They smiled "Come peacefully and we won't hrut her..refuse and well..." One grinned "Well break her like a horse." Mikhail stiffened not needing to decode that one.Rape.His shoulders slumped.If it was to save her he would do anything."I'll go with you"

Shalendra Naevys Shalendra quickly grabbed Mikhail's arm, "No! Please don't leave me" she said as she looked up at him, tears starting to form, "I can't be alone again, not now" she said just above a whisper. She then looked to the two men and glared, "You cannot take him! Why can't you see he will not harm anyone UNLESS they attack him first?" she said as she went back to blocking Mikhail from them.

Mikhail gripped her shoulders a tear of blood falling."Honey..if I dont go..they'll hurt you.They'll rape you!" He shook his head sadly."I can handle pain but not the pain of knowing your getting hurt.I'll be fine..we have the bond remember?" He emphasized the bond.If need be she could use it to save him."I need to go with them..Ive been a pain to you eversince I came..You almost died." Mikhail stepped back letting them cuff him with silver.Smoke began to come from his wrists and he hissed."Be my strong mate Shalendra..I know you are" They backed him to the door

Shalendra Naevys Shalendra ran after him crying, one came behind her striking her in a weak point along her lower spine, she screamed out in pain as collapsed to the ground her wings vanishing. The pain had caused her to pass out, she lay there with tears streaking her face as the one who stuck her smiled lustfully at her before heading back towards the others to leave.

Mikhail roared and bit the man hard draining him within seconds.That earned him more silver and his right fang being ripped out.He roared in pain and they dragged him to their van and thrown him in.He stared out the window as the manor shrunk in the distance.He tried to growl but his swollen hole where his fang was was to painful.The men drove for miles and finally came to the university slash prison for him.He growled brokenly.He was in hell.They dragged him in and the entire team of researchers put him in chains and immediately half drained him.Then began to test him.Painfully.

Shalendra Naevys Shalendra cried as she lay in bed, her body slowly healing from the attack that had befallen her. Days passed, she had begun training again with her abilities that she had not had to use for many many years, she was going to be prepared properly for when she would go save Mikhail.

Months had passed and Mikhail was now half the vampire he was when he was taken.he was weak and hungry and had aged at least to look fort.They had not let him feed.It was so bad he was unable to walk,fight,or barely even talk.He could scream...in pain.He had sent his mate many messages to save him.But she hadnt come.He was out of options..hope and his heart was in pieces thinking of her.He was sure he was gonna die here

Shalendra Naevys Shalendra was sneaking about the compound of where she knew the assassins had taken Mikhail, keeping to the shadows as she looked around to find her love. After a few hours she was among the rafters, she had managed to squeeze through a small space and came to a torture chamber, one of many. She looked down and saw an aged man chained up to the wall, feeling like she should try and see if she could find out where Mikhail was being kept she shimmied down a column and crouched low when she made it to the ground. Shalendra crept slowly forward, "Pst, sir, would you be willing to answer a question for me?" she asked him, not recognizing that it was Mikhail.

He lifted his head.Wrinkles and lines etched in his face.The only thing that hadn't changed was his red streak and blue eyes.They widened at the sight of her."S-Shalend..." His head dipped and he panted barely able to whisper it.It was Mikhail.He groaned in pain."Mikhail..."

Shalendra Naevys Shalendra quickly moved forward, lifting his head as she gave him some water, "Yes, I'm looking for Mikhail" she said as she looked at him, the wrinkles hid his original appearance, it was still hard for her to recognize him. "What can I do to help you?" she asked him.

"S-Shalendra..." He swallowed greatfully.He turned his head showing her the streak."It...me.." Mikhail let a tear fall."Im..Mikhail.." He panted unable to talk anymore.Mikhail shook the chains barely even moving them he was so weak."I love...you" He looked at her his blue eyes sad but still showing the light that she told him she loved

Shalendra Naevys Shalendra stopped herself from gasping, she gently placed her hand on his cheek and looked into his eyes, upon seeing that it was him she kissed him deeply. "What happened to you? You look so much older" she said as she went to unlocking the chains, she had been practicing for this day, she then went to the other one.

He kissed back weakly "No..blood...months" He breathed hard his arms falling limply to his sides.He slumped over looking an inch from the grave.He closed his eyes stopping breathing."Rest..." He panted."Need..." His voice trailed off as he sagged into the ground
