The stray Haunter brought up the rear with Tambrey's retreating Palu and Neph. He blasted a few Shadow Balls behind them in order to slow down whatever Gaactics they might have had on their heels. It seemed about time to catch up with the others up ahead.

Meanwhile, Shawn's breath was starting to really hurt his chest when they were forced to climb stairs. There was some commotion when they seemed to bump into - of all people - the Galactic leader and a little green hedgehog-thing of his, but that was quickly solved by the higher-ups and clearer-headed thinkers of the group. Shadow's mind and senses were still dulled with pain, and it was all he could do to follow. He hoped the others behind them would join up soon...

The flurry of attacks directed at Andre sent the tiny green pokémon bouncing down the hall. "Shaaaaaaaaaaay!"

"No!!" Deimos squirmed as Bro dragged him on top of the unfamiliar Metang, "No this isn't fair, let go of me!! Where's Tethys?!"

Andre watched with wide eyes as the Rockets departed with his master in tow. "Sh..shaymin.." He looked around the empty hall, at a complete loss. Moments passed before he tensed, shut his eyes and set off a seed flare. The explosion was small enough that it only damaged his section of the hall, leaving Deimos and the retreating Rockets unharmed.

It was, however, loud enough to be heard one floor down, where the distinct explosion made the ceiling tremble.

Tethys' eyes snapped upward, wide and fearful. "Julian."

The pale woman whipped around to face her troops. "Fall back!" she shouted, as her Gardevoir's Heal Bell roused the Volcarona. The giant moth stirred, then flared up once more, taking the Whimsicotts' Mega Drains for the Starmie and threatening to catch Conrad in its flame. Her Gallade flinched under Zach's Bite and disappeared, leaving the Gardevoir and Volcarona to act as a vanguard.

Tethys wasted no time climbing on her recovered Starmie, which shot unsteadily over the heads of the Galactics.

"Thank you.." TRP nodded at Faleen's offered support. She wasn't sure where they were going to go. The Galactics would only follow them. The situation was alarmingly hopeless. And then the explosion came. She could hardly believe the order she heard ring behind her, but as TRP turned to look over her shoulder she saw Tethys and all of the Galactics just... leave. Tethys was first to go. The mob of Galactics stood perplexed for a moment, then followed after her down the hall and upstairs somewhere.

TRP gaped, then looked at her fellow Rockets, mouth hanging open. Once she'd had a moment to process this event she shook her head and gestured down the hall, back in the direction of the hangar, "Revoke that order. Let's move!"

At Alba's order to walk or wait Star whined and did his best to continue on his own. When a zoroark appeared beside him suddenly he stumbled back in alarm. It took a moment but he finally realized the large dark type was there to help him. Looking uncertain, he accepted the offer and leaned on the pokémon as the group hobbled ahead. Sky fluttered after him, ready to wing attack anyone in the face if they got too close.

By the time they arrived at their destination, he was practically letting the Zoroark carry him.

- - - - - - -

Pushing onward, the group with TRP would arrive at the hangar entrance just as Frost's group did the same. The hangar itself wasn't nearly as busy as it'd been last visit. In fact, it was almost empty. This probably had something to do with most of the staff being relocated for ship repairs and the fact there were almost no vehicles left. Star'd managed to blow up most of them. Currently only three generic non-pokémon-shaped jets occupied the large space.

Lore perked up as the two teams rejoined, "Hey guys! Look what we found!"

TRP's eyes widened as they drew close enough to see bundle the other Team was hauling on a metang's back, "Holy s**t.."

The commotion at the entrance drew the attention of the handful of Galactics in the hangar. One of them dropped what he was doing and approached the group, "What the hell do you think you're-" He froze when he saw who they had with them.

"No sudden moves," Frost called, his voice raised so as to be heard across the hanger but still perfectly cool and calm. "If I have even the slightest suspicion that one of you is intending to do harm to one of us I will shoot him. I seem to remember promising knee caps first, but after that I really have no plans for where the bullets go. Perhaps I will take suggestions from the floor."

By the time they got into the Hanger, Bro was no longer floating over the Metang, instead, to make sure the Galactic Boss didn't squirm off of the pokemon, the Gengar had taken to sitting most of his weight down onto the small man's back,
One leg folded in, while the other hung off the side, a scowl on his face with his arms crossed.

Bro' frowned when they were spotted by another Galactic, but a wide dark smirk spread over his lips at the threat that Frost gave.
To further the Agent's point, the Ganger opened his pointer and thump to portray a gun, and pretended to shoot Deimos in the back.

~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
The events that followed confused Faleen as well, a soft frown on her face. this was either good... or was going to lead to something worse.
Either way, Faleen helped TRP as they continued their way through to the hanger. By now Faleen had pulled her gun out of its holster, keeping the safty on for now.
Here was a swell of relief what she saw that the other group was there, and that they were okay. But not much different from TRP, Faleen froze in complete surprise to see Deimos, bound with them.
"wha... Deimos?"
Zoroark didn't seem to mind that she was half carrying this man, it was kind of cute, he was so pathetic, like a Pup!
Zoroark purred softly to try and calm the poor hurt little pup.
Absol and Sharpedo paused next to Faleen, waiting on her orders, but watching the guards like a hawk.
Conrad has back petaled as fast as he could but still got burnt a bit from the flames. He and Zack regrouped when all of the Galactic's ran of and followed the Rocket group to the hanger.
When the two groups met up Xander gave his pokemon and his teammates a small smile then turned his attention to the Galactic's that showed up. He gave a smirk when Frost threatened them and put a hand on Angel's head when the Liepard came up beside him, body tense to move to attack if need be.
The Haunter hovered uncertainly over the now converging groups as they got to the hangar, watching Bro with some mild curiosity. He raised a brow at the gesture the Gengar made before glancing at Faleen's shiny Zoroark with the tall human on its back. It frowned before shaking its head. How silly.
As if the other Galactic in the hangar didn't exist, the ghost-type wasted no time in levitating up to one of the windows of the jets still parked ahead. He inspected the interior through a window and slipped inside to check its status. It seemed ready enough to fly on the outside, but who knew? Nevertheless, that was likely what they were going to have to do.
Shadow's attention darted from TRP to the new Galactic to Deimos, who seemed a heck of a lot more important than the kid first realized. Was he going to be their hostage, then? Everything seemed to hang in the balance. Lindsay, still close at Shadow's heels, looked up at Deimos from his perch on Koios and growled, snarling viciously. She didn't know who this man was, but already she hated him. He radiated idiocy.
Sonata responded to Tambrey's attentions with an affectionate nudge from her muzzle and a soft whicker. This human girl was good, she could tell. Easy to train, too.
-----
Bonnie and Clyde retreated after the Volcarona was up again - it was a fire-type, why the hell wouldn't they run? - and bounced after their trainer being helped by the old human that shared their room. While Clyde showed his concern outwardly, Bonnie pretended she couldn't care less. Really though, she was concerned - if something bad happened to him, who would feed them? It was hard to find food on their own in a big metallic maze.
Oriana chimed worriedly as she wrapped her tassel around Inigo's other arm to try to help (having already hastily discarded Acier's pokeball into his pocket), but since his injury was on one shoulder it was kind of hard to help from that side.
Neither pokemon nor Inigo noticed or cared that the other group had captured Deimos, but the grunt was a little busy - understandably so - trying to focus on anything other than the pain. They were.. in the hangar now, right? That meant they could leave, right? No one would die this time, they couldn't. Not after what happened last time..
Sonata's dark eyes shifted to the other group when they appeared, and she made a distressed noise when she spotted her trainer. Oh no! What had happened? That's what she got for leaving him alone... Already the Ponyta was heading towards him, whether Tambrey was still with her or not - not quickly though, in case her charge wanted to join. She wouldn't blame her if she did.
TRP gave Frost an approving smirk.
The Galactic obediently backed off.
Deimos was on the verge of hyperventilating as he squirmed under Bro. He looked at the Galactic, eye wide with fear, "You have to help me! Get Tethys!!"
The Galactic winced, clearly aware his leader wasn't weighing the circumstances, "S..sir they'll shoot you...."
"Yeah but.." Deimos looked at Frost. It took a moment but the seriousness of the situation finally sunk in and he grew quiet, looking terrified.
Still leaning on Faleen for support, TRP hurried to lead the group into the hangar while the nearby Galactics stood by helplessly, "We'll take one of the jets. Sager, you can disable any onboard tracking systems, right?"
"Of course." The lanky ex-Galactic answered from his comfortable Zoroark bed.
The Galactics in the room shot glares at the spindly man.
Hanger. They'd made it to the hanger, and thank Arceus it looked like the rest of the team had too; some of them didn't look so great but he only had so much worry to go around and currently it was split about half and half between Jerome (because he'd been there in that cell with him for an eternity and the man was full of bullet holes) and Alex (because he was Alex). At least all three of his pokemon were there and looking okay....
They were so close now, they had to make it. They had a bargaining chip in Deimos so it would to work out alright. It had to.
An audible breath escaped Hayes when the other half of the team arrived. It sounded like relief.
Unsure what he could do to help the situation right now, and also not really feeling capable of doing anything useful Aulus laid a hand on his partner's shoulder. This was partially to reassure Alex of his continued presence and partially to make himself feel a little steadier on his feet; though he'd managed to keep up the run through the hallways had taken its toll on his abused body. Not much longer though, right? Just needed to stay upright a bit longer.
"Frost. How're we getting out of here?" Hayes' eyes were locked on the other group as he spoke.
Frost pursed his lips slightly, considering Hayes' question but still looking - and aiming - at Diemos. It was a very good question. Did they have enough flying pokemon to transport everyone, including those not in a fit state to ride? "One of those jets might be an idea," he murmured to the elite, "though we have no way of knowing if.... Ah, Mister Star is dealing with it for us. Mmmh, we shall need the hanger doors open though."
When he started to come to, Rory found himself in the grasp of a Charizard. He took in his surroundings and noticed they had made it to the hanger. He seen the platinum blond agent standing near a tied up little guy in a Galatic uniform.
His eyes continued to take in the area the team was in and spotted the purple hands from earlier inspecting one of the jets before it went inside. So a Haunter had moved him. He wondered who it belonged to, he'd have to thank them later.
When he heard TRP say they were taking one of the jets he almost jumped for joy. Well, he would have if his legs weren't almost charcoal.
He also made a mental note to find out who the Charizard belonged to as his legs recognized he was awake and returned to radiating pain. He wished for sleep again.
Galactic Commander Tethys
PostPosted: Sun Mar 25, 2012 6:47 pm
"Julian!" Tethys careened around the corner of the stairwell at an unsafe speed. The sight of the empty hallway made her heart sink; she dropped off her Pokemon and ran over the scorched and shattered floor tiles toward the little green puff in the center of the smoking crater. "Andre!" Her voice was hoarse with desperation. "Where is he?"
"Shay shay!!" Andre shouted, abandoning the hole he'd blown in the ground to charge toward Tethys as fast as his nubby legs would carry him. When the two met he pointed down the hall. "Shaymin!!"
The commander knelt to meet him, holding her cupped hands out to be scuttled into. "The hangar." Her complexion paled visibly. She stood, lifting the little legendary to her shoulder before vaulting back on her Starmie, which sped back the way it came. "Corridor units to me. Hangar crew, seal doors."
Andre scurried onto Tethys' hands and clung to her shoulder when he was placed there, tiny face set with determination.
- - - -
The Rockets' reunion was soon interrupted. The sound of several pairs of boots echoed in the hangar, growing closer, until their owners came into view: the majority of Galactics who'd fought in the hall, bristling with weapons and Pokemon. Tethys was at their head, flanked by her Pokemon and Andre on her shoulder. She kept her remaining gun trained forward as she walked, her face a mask of wordless fury.
Gah! The pony was moving off somewhere...
And Tambrey still didn't -really- have much of a choice but the go with to be honest.
They were moving toward someone she recognised...
.. and that someone was hurt.
"...Inigo?" She recognised Alba from the museum mission and felt oddly glad to see him here, but found herself more worrying about Inigo... and finally worked out finally just who this pony belonged to.
Well she couldn't move fast, that had been the point, but they were nearly out of here...
She let go of the pony and awkwardly stumbled back a little.
"Let her carry him..?"
She tried to stand as still as she could after that, watching the situation and focusing on not giving in to tiredness or the appeal of falling over.
And then Tethys appeared.
Tambrey found herself suddenly acquiring a seat on the floor.
Palu was glad of the haunter sticking with them and the pidgeotto cooed at him appreciatively while Neph just sulkily shot off attacks.
They followed along when the others all moved and found themselves in the hangar and back near their trainer... The bird and bug type didn't land yet though, choosing to take some time in the air fo
"Ah." Frost raised his eyebrows. "The cavalry has arrived. Are we able to open the hanger doors, TRP, or shall we blow another hole in this thing to make our exit?"
They were outnumbered and out-gunned, but he had a gun pointed at their boss.
After a moment of thought he stepped up right next to Koios and pressed the muzzle against Deimos' temple.
"The sooner the better." Faleen muttered, glancing around at the entrances.
Now that their team had the Galactic Boss, she was sure it wouldn't be too long before all hell broke loose.
She glanced over at Star when he confirmed that he could disable to on board tracking.
"Lets get everyone on board then,"
She couldn't help a little sigh when she saw how Zoroark was now carrying Star.
When did that happen?
"Sharpedo, Absol. Watch the Galactics, here. If they move, eat them." She instructed, then, moving forward to encourage the others toward the jet before more Galactics showed up
Two sets of dark red eyes glinted a they lingered on the guards.
Zoroark growled deeply at the looks the Galactics gave the pup on her back.
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~

The foot falls in the hall came quietly, as Faleen expected them too, but hoped they could not have to encounter.
She winced, and shifted with TRP, pulling her gun level and switching off the safety.
"damn it." She hissed to herself. they had to remain calm, they had to be cool about this and get out of here, they had Deimos, they had the upper hand.

Bro' jerked his head up when he heard other Galactic's come in.
The Gengar hissed through his teeth, not removing himself from Deimos.

Arcadie really didn't have any idea who any of these people were except that they fell under the universal blanket of 'Galactics.' She hovered near her group with an uncharacteristic timidness. Had she thought she wouldn't be slapped for it, she probably would have been clinging to the nearby Revenant. She didn't really want to be slapped, though. She'd had quite enough of, well, everything really. Fortunately it seemed they'd gained something valuable in the very terrified man stuck between the Metang and the Gengar. What an odd position to find oneself in; passingly Arcadie wondered if it was as uncomfortable as it looked.

Boarding a jet. That sounded good. Then she could do what she was good at: taking care of injuries. None of this fighting stuff or this getting hurt stuff. Treating wounds, just like she'd learned in school, and not getting gunned down by a squadron of enemies led by some pissed off chick who needed another accent color to her outfit. That would be a nice way for the current events to go.
