Hel would have been pleased to know that her idea that the rooms would potentially merge again was correct, but being pleased and trying to make light of the situation were the furthest things from her mind after a series of events. The ghoul had tensed and braced herself as the room shifted around, and instead everyone and everything came crashing down onto them. Her wings had flared out as she whirled around as the steam swept at her skin.
The last thing she’d remember before the agony was the briefest glimpse of a white coat with gold trim, a smile and the sound of steel and wires as it tightened.
Then she screamed, and that was all she heard, and all she felt was the pain and the warmth that wasn’t from the steam, but from her own blood. Her spear was gone now, and she had curled into a fetal position as she just kept on screaming amongst the chaos. She felt like she could fade away at any moment as well, and that seemed welcomed. Hands were touching her now, and it only made it worse, but she didn’t have the coherency to say otherwise as she was shifted. There was an action that took a bit of the searing edge of the pain and heat off, and if she had been thinking clearly, she’d be immensely thankful, but right now, all she could, all she wanted to do, was lay there as the pain overwhelmed her.

There was just enough time for Pepin to realize where she was going when Mitsu moved her before the phone just gave out.

As Hel's cries of anguish faded, Christof hurried to finish his stitching, finally rolling her to rest her head on his lap. He wasn't good at words of comfort, but he could hum softly, gently brushing her hair out of her face. It would be okay. She was in good and able hands (in his opinion) and sure she was missing a few Pieces, she was otherwise whole.

Spitting out a mouthful of blood, the human grimaced as he felt his FEAR shield begin to shatter. He should call for help. He still had his cellphone. He could still send a distress signals. It's possible help would arrive in time, or even ahead of time, between the portals and this place.
He took his last few moments of consciousness to strike at Shun's eye instead.
The Hunter's weapons disappeared before his body even hit the floor.

Lizzy sighed at Shun, and took a moment to undress Stacey by using her spider legs - sans his underthings - and made a human burrito out of him, as promised. Who knew humans were so heavy.
Her spider legs dissipated almost immediately after, and she collapsed on the floor with a groan.
"Hunter is out, list of items obtained..." She grabbed his coat and started going through it, "Bandages, weapons and chains with runes on them, a skelephone-like device... Pepin, could you come look at it please?" She held up the skelephone and flipped it open; it suddenly occurred to her that he could have called for back-up or something...
"Don't contact anyone on it! Just check it," She placed it on the ground and poked the other items, "We'll probably need Malodore, Barth, Riley and Christof's help with these things... And now... Someone wake him up please. We need to prepare the questions we want to ask him, and make sure he's... Secured." She poked the hunter on his cheek with a sigh.
OOC; Please Read: -> Liz's post. -> Shun's eye got poked! -> Moar help! -> The posts after this one might be important! Read at least the bolded dialogue; in fact, to speak your mind to the GROUP after this, BOLD YOUR WORDS! If not, you might be ignored.

Christof grunted, giving Hel one more good look over to make sure she would be alright before easing himself out from under her. They would need his muscle to help carry things...
A human. A real human in their grasp. His breathing quickened, disappointed that the view of all those Freshest of Fresh parts were hidden from view by the spiderwebs. All in good time. All in good time. Patience. They had him now.
He limped his way to Lizzy, making sure she was alright as well before giving her an expectant, 'tell me what to do, Mistress,' expression and bow.
At her instruction, he happily grabbed the human carcass by his webbed restraints, snarling as a hand lashed out to smack him awake. Not so confident now, was he? No machines to trap his Master in, stripped of his weaponry... He was their's now. Just say the word, Lizzy, and he would be a good Igor. They would get the Task Done.

Lizzy had yelled over the com to help Hel and Mitsu was scrambling to try and find her. The steam was so thick where she was but it wasn't hard to follow the screams of pain. When Mitsu finally found her way to the Valkyrie there were others already tending to her but the scene was horrific. The Valkyrie's wings...they were gone. Rushing over Mitsu was about to help Christof with whatever he was finish up when the new and familiar cry of pain hit her.
The blood seemed to drain from her face as she stared at Hel in horror. It wasn't that the Valkyrie's situation was any less dire but that sound, she knew what it was. Her reaper was in pain and she hadn't been there to help. She hadn't been there to help any of them. It made her blood run cold.
"S-Shun.....SHUN?!" She heard Lizzy over the com link once again but the lycan was already tearing through the debris toward her boilfriend. "SHUN!" The Hunter went ignored as Mitsu nearly collided with Shun from stumbling toward him. Her eyes couldn't have been any larger as her hands shakily reached up toward his face. It looked like she wanted to break right then, tears already welling up and pouring over and down her cheeks.
For an instant it appeared as if Mitsu wanted to crumble, fall to her knees, and cry. She had failed to protect her reaper like she promised. Failed to protect her friends.
But somehow she managed to hold it in. She choked back the sobs that threatened to come, her hand resting over the one covering his eye. This was no time to tune out the world and weep. "L-let me see. I need to treat it."

Xiu swiped at her eyes, her blurry vision focused on the Hunter's fallen body. He was down. They could do it now--they could kill him, kill him for what his kind does to them and for what he did to her friends. She had gone into this knowing that there was a risk, but for Hel and Shun to lose their wing and eye respectively?
The one responsible for that. He was right there.
...But no. It wasn't for her to say what happened to the Hunter, and right now, she was angry. She was well aware that, if she acted now, she would only end up doing something that she would end up regretting later on. Xiu turned her attention to her injured companions--it seemed that Christof ad done well tending to poor Hel (thank Jack), and Shun...
Casting the fallen figure a tight-lipped look, she slowly made her way over to Shun and Mitsu. Her expression fell as she drew closer to the pair, ears and tail both drooping. "Aniki...aniki, are you oka--..." Xiu stopped herself. What a stupid question. Falling silent, she settled for resting a hand on Mitsu's shoulder, trying to reassure her friend while biting back her own angry tears.
...Jack. Jack, this whole thing had turned out...

"Alright. We have him," Shun murmured. They had the hunter, but it seemed to have cost them a fair amount. Letting out another pained hiss, he stared down at the downed man, waiting for him to come back around so they could start the interrogation phase. Though, soon Mitsu had come by, nearly bowling him over in her hurry to reach him. Quickly, he tried to see if she was alright but it seemed that she was unharmed for the most part. Good...
But she looked and sounded incredibly distressed. Furrowing his brow as he breathed heavily, he reached up with his free hand to take hers. She was shaking.
"Calm down.." he said quietly before wincing, "I'll be alright.."
Letting out a breath, he slowly nodded as she asked to treat the wound. Slowly and reluctantly, he moved his hand away from his face, revealing a sizable gash there. His eye was shut tight, but it was easy to see that the cut had gone right through it. Blood was still flowing on out right now as well.
"It's not... too serious.."
As in it wasn't a fatal wound.

No amount of basic first aid had prepared her for this. Treat a fever, sure. Help with sickness, she could do that. Stitch up minor wounds, that was doable. But this, this was well beyond her ability to heal. They needed Ms. Cricket. The damage was too great to repair on her own and the look in her eyes said that.
Taking another calming breath, Mitsu looked back at Xiu for a moment, her eyes taking on a more serious expression. "Please help me stop the bleeding." Mitsu had traveled light as requested but still had a few things with her like gauze and tape. Reaching into her pocket she pulled the gauze free, it was a little wet from the event earlier but it would have to do.
"It is serious," Mitsu said more calmly than she thought possible. "Now try to hold still." She lightly pressed the mess of gauze to his eye, the white bandaging instantly soaking through. Frowning she grabbed the hem of her shirt and began to rip. She would have to make some make shift bandages for now.

The siren was pretty much flipping the ******** out at this point. The rooms had collapsed into each other, one student was really badly hurt and so wan another? Steam was around him and Lizzy was telling him thinsg and Shehk was making sure he didn't attack and just-
Israfel was really confused.
Still he searched for the pendant the hunter had dropped, returning finally to his more natural form. He cooed softly, unable to help the injured. "I'm sorry." He kept muttering under his breath. Looking at the hunter he made a small distressed sound. "Christof we- we don't want him dead-" The siren didn't want anyone dead, not even the hunter. "If we kill him-" More cooing. "If we kill him doesn't that make us the bad guys?" Wings folded around him as he resumed looking for the pendant.

Grimacing, Shun held still for Mitsu, though let out a few hisses and winces as she applied pressure to the wound. She was being gentle, but it wasn't helping all that much. Taking in a deep breath, he painfully glanced over towards Israfel, hearing his concerns on the matter.
"We need information from him first. But quite frankly, the hunters have never shown us mercy as far as I know. If we let him leave alive, it'll probably just lead to complications. He knows our faces. He could gather reinforcements and seek revenge. A swift death would fix this."
The Reaper never had any intention of letting the hunter leaving alive, even before the mission began.
"But like I said... we need him to talk first."
---
Hel looked pretty bad off and Jericho wasn't sure if her wings would ever really be able to heal from this. It looked horrible. And quite frankly, his own wings were cringing looking at the mess. The hunter had done this. The hunters were at the fault for just about all their woes.
"They stuff us into glass tubes and weaponize us. They maim and kill our kind. If given the chance, they would destroy our homes. They are the cause of our sufferingss..." snarled the dragon, "If we don't kill him, at least make him beg for mercy. Or at least rip him apart and just leave him inches away from death."
The insanity was talking here.

Bul was amazed despite this steam and despite the injuries he sustained from the house itself, the hunter appeared to be a total pushover. Of course, that was because he had already taken a serious beating from the others before hand but Bul was still walking with both legs and quite conscious of what was happening.
He seriously wished he wasn't.
Shun and Hel had sustained some more-than-stellar injuries.. some body disfigurement even and Bul was feeling a spike in his anxiety now that the hunter was restrained. Yes, interrogate the hunter! But do what with him afterward? Bul was being pulled in an entirely different direction than Jericho, this was for certain.
"JERICHO-" he said abruptly, but not scornfully. "Do you not remember? Remember what Nox told us about them?" he said, stepping carefully closer to the dragon. Unlike the others he really liked the steam and was already close to a lot of the action anyway. Plus the Red Dragon's voice was unmistakable.
"If we're killing any hunters its leaders. This guy? I don't... I don't think he's a leader," Bul tried to be a voice of reason. "Killing him would be a waste of resources and really I just.." nervously he pulled back. Bul felt guilty for letting the thought even cross his mind of KILLING this hunter. But /WHY/.

"I am against killing too," She agreed with Israfel quietly, her heart heavy; it would make sense to just end his life. They would make taking out one hunter... It would be one less hunter to hurt them. Everything was pointing towards killing this hunter as a good thing, but still, she couldn't quite bring herself to think of killing as an option; wouldn't there be... Hunters who might miss him...?
Just because they lack compassion towards them doesn't mean they deserve the same treatment... Right?
"We'll talk about that later though," She steeled her nerves, and tried to calm her racing heart, "Christof, uh-" He slapped the hunter rather hard, and she winced, "We need to wake him, not kill him..." Oh please let him be cooperative, "Once he's conscious, question him. If he refuses to cooperate, ask... Uh, Ask West or Levi or someone to give him a slap or something. But don't. Kill. Him. NO KILLING." She glared at Jericho; she was tired. So tired. But no naps... No naps yet.
