As, Sierra, listened to the perks that the girls came with, she also happened to notice that, Flandre, seemed hesitant about the listing of her abilities. This made her suspicious to the little vampire's honesty, as she looked back and forth, between the two. She thought that even with the powers listed, it would be nearly impossible to get by them. "I think I can find a way to make that work," she told them, knowing their powers perfectly complimented each other. "You two seem perfect." As the bartender came to them, she asked the two, "What would you girls like to have?"

Yuki was slightly taken aback by the offer of a drink. Sure with her last master she snuck a few drinks but she had never tasted anything she liked. She looked over the menu very briefly, wondering what half the things it listed were. "Um...Something sweet?", she asked hesitantly. She loved sweet things like candy and some fruits, so why not a sweet drink.

Laughing out loud, Sierra, was amused by their surprise, as they thought it was mandatory to get alcohol at a bar. Looking over to the bartender, she gave him something of an evil wink, as, Yuki, asked for something sweet. "Please dears, try not to make too big of a scene over this," she requested, as the bartender gave the white haired girl a root beer. "They don't just serve liquor and mead at these places anymore. By the way, I'll have a bottle of Wild Turkey."As the bartender listened for the little blond's order, he quickly pulled free a bottle of golden brown whiskey, with a silhouette of a turkey on the label. Taking the bottle, she reached for the cap, she popped it off with ease. Pressing the neck of the bottle to her lips, she savored the smooth burn of the hard liquor.

Who wouldn't enjoy bugging people? It was always so much fun for her. Honestly, she was glad to have found Shadow; it was nice to have something like this in common with another person. Of course, she wondered what else they might have in come, but the answers to that question would probably come out in time. Well, if they hung around each other enough. That was a definitely a possibility in Nova's mind.
There was also something she noticed almost instantly that was different between them. Shadow didn't show her emotions very much. Really, there could be any number of reasons as to why Shadow did not do this though, and Nova didn't feel it was her place to ask just yet. She knew how to respect another person's privacy, she just usually didn't see a point in doing that around whomever her mistress or master happened to be...or around people who annoyed her. Shadow was none of those.
Nova herself found it more enjoyable to display her emotions, and she possessed no reason to hide them...usually. There were very few things one would have a hard time getting out of Nova. One of those would be admitting that she actually liked her master or mistress, something which had only happened once thus far. Most who claimed her wanted to be the one to 'break' her. Like that was going to happen. Nova had too much fun playing her little games to turn into an obedient little pet.
Her gaze continued to roam the den as Shadow scoped out their possible target. Those bright blue orbs flicked back to the other woman when she started to speak and a grin spread across Nova's features. "Have I mentioned that I love the way you think Shadow? Because I really, really, do." She told the dark-haired woman. Shadow was right, why should they pick just one victim when there were so many around them to choose from? Besides, a group would be even more fun to go after and there would be even more reactions to laugh at.
Her eyes shifted to the group which Shadow had indicated and her nose wrinkled as she watched their actions. Those four needed to be brought down a few pegs, how fortunate that she and Shadow were here to do just that... A slight nod of her head was the only indication Nova gave of agreeing with the other woman. Gears were turning within the blue-eyed woman's head now, scenarios of different pranks playing out along with their assumed results. What would she do to these four? Oh, it would have to be something good. Not only because this was her test, but since those types of people really annoyed her too.
It was quite a feat for Nova to remain silent as Shadow played her part in the prank, the group's reactions were very entertaining after all. Everything about the situation was hilarious, but Nova couldn't laugh just yet. Laughing would make Nova and her new partner instant suspects, if the group happened to notice them, and that would bring their fun to a premature ending. Shadow's act would be tough to follow, but Nova loved a challenge. When she was given the go-ahead by Shadow, Nova nodded and focused her attention on the four people.
Her lips curled into a devilish smile as Nova decided upon her first act. They made it so easy for her too, what with all four of them leaning over the table to stare. One minute they were puzzling over the strange phenomenon that had just occurred, and the next they were being chased by a new one. The piece of furniture had changed from a simple table to a mechanized, wooden, creature. It was something that closely resembled a dog. If one payed close enough attention they would be able to notice a few subtle differences though, like the tuft at the end of it's tail.
Unlike Shadow, Nova did not perform any gestures when using her abilities. She needed only picture what she wanted the object to become in her mind. Well, after she had deciphered it's molecular structure of course. The chase lasted for all of a minute, or maybe two. It lasted long enough for the people to believe what they were seeing, but not to the point that they wouldn't questioned what had just happened when the table had returned to its rightful place. That was how she loved to do things: by making people doubt themselves or the things around them.
The group took to mumbling among themselves, trying to decide if those events had truly just occurred or if they had all imagined the same thing. That wasn't possible though...right? That was one thing Nova loved about groups, since there was more than one person it allowed for even more doubt, and less at the same time. That had to have happened, they all saw it. Yet, there sat the table, exactly where it had been when they were enjoying their meal.
She studied the group for a moment, waiting to see what they would do next. When the four of them, shakily, made their way towards the exit, Nova tsk-ed. That wouldn't do, not at all. Her gaze scanned the room once more, quickly picking out exactly what she needed for this next part. Before the group could get very far, what appeared to be an old woman materialized in front of them. Nova couldn't use this particular ability on actual people, but she could create things that were almost life-like.
Hands resting upon her cane, the woman spoke. "Did you see it?" She asked them, eyes downcast and hands shaking slightly. "Did you see the creature that stole my eyes?" At this, the woman's head tilted up to reveal those empty sockets. "It took my eyes because I used them to look down on people. If you're not careful it will take from you too." When she was finished speaking the woman disappeared, almost like she had been a ghost. Now thoroughly frightened, the group quickly disappeared out of the Den's entryway.
Yeah, that was probably a little over the top...and she'd made it into a lecture for them at the end, but Nova had still enjoyed their frightened expressions. Really, that one had turned a bit dark at the end too. Still, she could do things like she had to 'Mister Cool' as well. In fact, as the group was leaving, Nova decided to do just that. She picked out little articles they were wearing: a cheap necklace, a pair of sunglasses, whatever, and gave them all animal ear and tail accessories. A rabbit, monkey, cat, and dog. "Well? What did you think?" Nova questioned, eyes shining with mirth, as she turned her attention back to her partner in crime.

Yuki took a small sip of the fizzy drink handed to her. She was so surprised, she nearly dropped it. It made her throat tingle and her nose sting, but it tasted so good. She had never had soda before. The smile that lit up her face made her look almost innocent. She continued sipping her new favorite drink, smiling and in a generally good mood.

Sierra, as pleased that they were taking their taking the opportunity to enjoy themselves, guessing that they weren't too accustomed to having things their way. As the bartender stood by wondering if they were going to get anything else, she would stare to, Flandre, thinking that she also wanted something else, but was too afraid to speak up. "You shouldn't hesitate," she told them. "It's okay to get more if you really want it."Wondering how well they would take her generosity, she would give them at least this, before she was to put them to work. Though it was mostly a ploy to gain their trust, she was still interested in seeing them at their best.

I tried to kill my pain But only brought more So much more I lay dying And I'm pouring crimson regret and betrayal I'm dying, praying, bleeding and screaming Am I too lost to be saved? Am I too lost? Do you remember me? Lost for so long Will you be on the other side Or will you forget me? I'm dying, praying, bleeding and screaming Am I too lost to be saved? Am I too lost?
Shadow

Shadow normally wasn't someone that could be called a 'people person', and honestly, never really had been. Oh, when she'd been younger, Shadow had attempted to make friends, but she was never really good at it. And the few times that she might have possibly met someone to become friends with, she and her mother had had to move again, and ruined any chance that Shadow made have had. And after an entire childhood and teen years of growing up that way, Shadow had gotten to a point in her life were she simply stopped trying, and had came to the conclusion that she just didn't need people at all. She and her mother had been doing just fine on their own, why get attached to someone else?
And then, Shadow had lost her mother, and found herself in this. . . life. If you could even really call it that, Shadow wasn't all that sure this pitiful little existence she had could even be called a life anymore. After that, when she had became 'Shadow', she really didn't want anything to do with anyone. Others like her were either too weak, or too submissive, and not someone Shadow could ever be friends with. Plus, there was also the added fact that with this kind of life, there were too many times that someone was sent off to another place, and you just never saw them again. That reminded Shadow all too well of the almost-friends she'd had growing up.
But Nova was actually someone that Shadow could see herself becoming friends with. They certainly had some important things in common that were obvious right off the bat. And probably other things that Shadow would notice later on. If Shadow hung around with her that long, of course. Shadow wasn't exactly known for spending time with others when she wasn't forced to. But. . . Shadow could actually see herself wanting to spend time with Nova. And while that confused the hell out of her, it wasn't really a bad thought, either. Actually, it was a rather nice one.
Although, it was also pretty obvious that Shadow and Nova had several things that were very different. Like the fact that Nova seemed more open when it came to showing emotions and things like that. It wasn't that Shadow exactly had anything against it per say. At least not with other people doing it. Unless it was a weak emotion, that annoyed the hell out of Shadow. But just regular emotions. . . if there was one thing that Shadow had learned over the years; both from her mother and her so called 'masters' it was to never show people how you felt. People used it against you in the worst ways possible, and Shadow simply refused to make herself vulnerable like that. No, Shadow had only been vulnerable two times in her life, and she regretted them both to this day; that was a mistake that Shadow simply refused to allow herself to make again.
Although, she supposed, there was one thing that she did show; it was her annoyance of people when they tried to control her. Because of Shadow's very strong personality, it seemed that everyone that came across her; wanted to 'break her' but Shadow was one person that would never be broken. And usually once they became obvious of this fact, after having tried every method they could think of, they would get angry and ship her off to the next place. Not that Shadow really minded, she was usually ready for a change of scenery by that point. Although, there might have been just a very small, very tiny part of her that would hope that maybe the next place she found would be better, that might actually be a place that she could be happy. . . but Shadow would always quickly squash that little part of her brain. She wasn't naive anymore, and she didn't believe that was something that would even be possible.
After Shadow had pointed out their victims, Nova said that she loved the way Shadow thought. That caused Shadow to give Nova a very rare smile. "I'm a demented thinker, what can I say?" Shadow said, giving a shrug of her shoulders and looking away. Truthfully, that one comment earned Nova quite a few points with Shadow; it was a compliment, and those were something that Shadow didn't get. . . well, ever. Unless you counted when people called her a sarcastic smart a**, Shadow considered those to be compliments because it meant she was doing something right when she'd been trying to annoy them.
Shadow's habit of not letting her emotions reach her features certainly came in handy when she paid her prank on the group, because their reactions were quite amusing. Actually, scratch that, they were hilarious, and Shadow had a hard time keeping from laughing. But, what helped her to keep from doing just that, was the fact that Shadow didn't want to draw attention to herself and Nova. Oh, Shadow was hardly afraid of what they would try to do; Shadow could handle that. No, it was the fact that Shadow wanted to see what Nova had in store for them. Shadow had, after all, set the bar quite high, if she did say so herself; which meant that Nova's prank would have to be a good one. That was something Shadow was actually looking forward to seeing, and it wasn't often for Shadow to get excited about something, so that was saying a lot.
Shadow blinked when she saw the table suddenly change into. . . was that a dog? Another blink, yep, that was what it looked like. A wooden dog. Well, with a few very subtle, minor differences that Shadow did notice. . . at first. Before she was really able to see what other differences there were, she was struggling extremely hard to not laugh as Nova's creation began to chase the people. It didn't last long, but it was long enough for Shadow to thoroughly enjoy the show. The looks on the people's faces was sure to be something that Shadow never forgot, to say the least. Although she imagined that she'd probably still laugh about this every time she thought about it, even years from now. Then just as quickly, the table returned to normal, and the group was left to try to figure out what had just happened, Shadow did smirk a little at that. It was always so funny to see their prank victims trying to figure out what had just happened; especially when there were several of them.
Then the group had apparently came to the decision to leave, which made Shadow purse her lips a little. Well, that would be no fun! Shadow wasn't all that fond of just letting them leave quite so soon, and hearing the 'tsk' noise that Nova made, Shadow thought that Nova must have felt the same way. Shadow was happy for that, after all, Shadow had done two pranks, it was only fair that Nova get to do two as well. Sure enough, when Shadow glanced at her new friend, she saw Nova scanning the room, as if looking for something. Shadow shifted a little on her stool, getting ready for the next scene. This one was sure to be interesting, Shadow thought, seeing an old woman suddenly materialize in front of the group.
Watching curiously, Shadow rested her chin on her hand, as the woman began talking. Asking if they had seen the creature that had stole her eyes? Shadow arched an eyebrow, that was unexpected, even to Shadow. Although, not nearly as unexpected as when the woman looked up, revealing empty eye sockets. Shadow was fairly certain that her jaw dropped open just a little, before she snapped it shut with an audible click sound. Shadow was well used to pranks, and even seeing weird things that weren't pranks. . . but this was a new one, even to Shadow. And Shadow had to admit, even knowing that it was just one of Nova's powers, it was still very heard to remind herself that it wasn't real at all. Which meant that Shadow could just imagine how the group felt. Especially as the 'old woman' went on to say that the create had taken her eyes because she'd used them to look down on people, and then proceeded to warn the group that if they weren't careful, it would take their eyes as well, and then disappeared just as quickly as she'd finished; disappearing into thin air almost like a ghost would.
Then the group took off out of the room, which was Shadow's cue that she didn't have to hold her laugh back anymore. Although, she was quiet about it, covering her mouth with her hand so that nobody else in the den would hear her laughing. Sure, Nova's pranks might have been what many would call mean, or perhaps even twisted, but Shadow loved them! It also made her decided that she did, in fact, like Nova. Anyone that was twisted enough to conjure up something like that, was well worthy of being someone Shadow called a friend. Plus, the fact that the 'old woman' had sort of lectured them about being so condescending was an added bonus. Shadow normally didn't like when people gave lectures, actually if they were aimed at her, she hated them. But she felt that the group had more than deserved it. Plus, to top it off, just as Shadow was getting her laughter under control; Nova added a surprise bonus at the end; giving certain articles that the group was wearing animal features. That brought about another round of laughing from Shadow. This was probably the most Shadow had laughed in quite some time, actually.
Then Nova asked her what she thought, and Shadow forced herself to regain her usual impassive posture, and made the laughing die down; even if that was a rather hard task at the moment. "Hmm. . ." Shadow said, pretending like she was having to think it over and tapping her finger against her chin, even though it was probably obvious from the laughter that she had liked the pranks. After pretending to consider it for a moment, Shadow dropped her hand, and grinned. Once again, offering Nova a very rarely seen genuine smile. "I think. . . that those pranks were absolutely, positively awesome. And quite hilarious, I enjoyed every second of it. I only wish that I'd had a video camera to record it so I could watch it over again later," she said, a small chuckle escaping her lips. Shadow nodded her head in approval; Nova had passed the test with flying colors. And had made Shadow decide that the next time they double-pranked someone; she'd have to step up her game. And yes, Shadow had already decided that there would eventually be a next time. "I don't say that often, so that should tell you how much I liked the pranks," she added.
Of course, having seen that power of Nova's. . . it did make Shadow extremely curious what Nova was. She hadn't seen anyone with that particular power before, and here Shadow had thought she'd seen it all. But, while Shadow was normally blunt about things, just saying whatever was on her mind; that was one question that Shadow wouldn't ask. Mainly due to the fact that Shadow didn't want the question returned to her, because Shadow was very private when it came to that. And besides, Shadow wouldn't pry into private matters, because she hated when people did it to her. Unless that person annoyed her, of course. In that case, Shadow would purposely dig into personal matters to find something to hurt them with. But that wasn't the case with Nova. Shoving those thoughts out of her head, Shadow focused on Nova again. "Looks like we're officially partners in time. I think this might be the beginning a fun new friendship," she commented.

I want to die!!! My God my tourniquet Return to me salvation My God my tourniquet Return to me salvation My wounds cry for the grave My soul cries for deliverance

Those were a fun subject. Nova wasn't an emotional person, but she found it more entertaining to show some amount of emotion. Well, as long as it didn't make her look weak. The curious things made her game so much more interesting after all. It would annoy her masters to no end when she smiled, though by that point they had figured out that she was up to something whenever she did. Of course, she could show irritation or anger to them just as easily. If they wanted to yell at her, then she would yell right back. Nova never backed down when she was challenged...well, not unless she had an exceptionally good reason to do so. It didn't count as backing down if she was plotting to get revenge later on....
Make no mistake, the woman did find certain emotions particularly vexing. It wasn't so much the emotion but the person if she really thought about it though. Nova found the people who over-displayed or overused a select few emotions to be rather infuriating. Love for instance, that was a big one on her list. She had nothing against people falling in love, but she did hate those who were constantly falling in and out of love. Oh, and the ones who had to make a public display of their 'love.' No one needed to see that. Honestly, Nova could probably write a book on the different things about emotions and why they annoyed her, but she wasn't the type of person to do that. For one thing, Nova didn't like to write. Besides, she would get bored being cooped up in a room all the time to do something like that.
Her fingers danced along the rim of her glass as she listened to Shadow speak. A devilish grin spread across her features at the comment her new friend had made. "Aren't we all? Well, those of us who know how to have fun at least." Nova's eyes were glittering like two bright blue stars. Never had she met someone so much like herself; it was a wonderful thing! She was happy to see the other female's smile as well, they seemed to be a rare thing with Shadow. A fact which only made it that much better to receive one.
It certainly would have helped if Nova had been trained, like Shadow, to hide her emotions. The reactions from the group after Shadow's prank were priceless! If she laughed there was no way for her to even attempt passing the woman's test though. Nova wanted to pass that test, even more so after seeing Shadow's prank. Oh the things they would be able to do! Nova could barely hold back her excitement at the thought. The best part was they could do it right on the spot! The two of them thought so much alike that prior planning, though possibly helpful, would be unnecessary.
When it was her turn to play, Nova went all out. Perhaps a bit over the top, but hey, she was having fun and that was all that mattered. The creature was something from her memory, very similar to her own beast form. If she remembered correctly, it had been her pet..or a friend. Nova couldn't be one hundred percent sure about that though, she possessed only bits and pieces of her memories from before coming to this planet. All she knew was that it was only a fearsome beast when you didn't know how to handle it. Even then, it took a lot to make the creature attack you. Really, it just wanted to make friends....
That was part of the reason the 'chase' had been so short, she couldn't have them realizing this beast was friendly. That would have ruined her whole prank. Nova wasn't all that fond of lectures, especially when she was the one being lectured, but this group had needed it. Her 'old woman' had proved to be the perfect dispatcher of the lecture too. Well, that was what she thought anyway. She couldn't help but grin at hearing the click when Shadow's jaw snapped shut. The looks on the faces of that group only made her smile grow.
There was no question about it, Nova was a very twisted individual. She was well aware of this too, and if someone were to tell her so she would only grin in response. Nova could be kind if she wanted to, really she could, but nice people had less fun. Well, that and most people just annoyed her. Those that didn't were usually the ones whose buttons she loved to push. It was always fun to push them to the edge, see just how far she needed to press to make them break. Plus, there was the added bonus of when people tried to break her. No one had succeeded yet, of course.
Muffled as her laughter was, it was easy for Nova to her those sounds coming from Shadow. Of course, sitting right beside the other woman helped with that. The blue-eyed female's eyes danced with mirth at Shadow's reaction. Yes, she would be the perfect partner for Nova. Just as Shadow's laughter was dying down, Nova decided to throw in a little bit more to her prank. It hadn't been her plan originally, but she thought it would make things more amusing. Her assumption was proven correct when Shadow started laughing again. She waited a moment to voice her inquiry, giving Shadow a couple minutes to get her laughter under control.
Nova was fairly certain that she already knew what Shadow's answer would be, but she still had to ask. She played along with Shadow's little routine and pretended to be worried over the possible answer. Nova grinned widely at the other female's praise. It wasn't often that she met someone who enjoyed pranks like she did. The times Nova ran into someone who enjoyed the same type as her were even fewer. "Well, it's not often that I get to show off. Besides, I have to impress you if I want the chance of teaming up with you right?" Bright blue eyes danced with mirth as words fell from her lips.
Her race was one thing that even Nova did not know. She had ideas, of course, but they were just that. She had never met another like herself and she did not have any memories from her early years. Well, not ones that she could make sense of anyhow. Although there were bits and pieces scattered about her mind, these fragments made no sense. As a result, race was usually a topic Nova tried to avoid. Nova flashed Shadow one of her best, and somewhat devious, grins. "Oh, I believe it is. Staying here just got a whole bunch more fun."

Shadow

Shadow had learned a long time ago to stop trying to make friends with people. A lot of people didn't understand Shadow. She was a very complicated person, after all. But it was more than that. The whole 'never staying in one place for long' when she'd been going up had made it impossible to make friends. And then she'd found herself in this. . . life, if it could even be called that, really. And she'd decided that it was best not to bother making friends. Not only because people like her usually annoyed her by allowing themselves to be broken. But also because she didn't like to get close to someone, only to have to worry about them. Either they went and got themselves hurt, or they were sent off to live somewhere else, or whatever reason. Oddly enough, however, Shadow could see herself becoming friends with Nova. Nova was quite a bit like Shadow, in a lot of ways that actually surprised the dark haired woman. Plus, Nova was obviously perfectly capable of taking care of herself, which meant that Shadow wouldn't have to worry about it. It was perfect, really.
Hmm, maybe staying here wouldn't be too bad after all. She was already off to a good start, after all. She had met a possible friend, and had already gotten to annoy a nice amount of people.
Although, while Shadow could easily see herself becoming friends with Nova; she still had quite a few interesting questions about the other girl. Her powers were interesting, but it was more than that. There was some sort of an odd vibe Shadow got from Nova, something that made it nearly impossible to figure out her species. Shadow was normally pretty good at figuring things like that out, so why was she having so much trouble with Nova? Shadow's mother had taught her how to notice certain things that were tell-tell clues to one's species. Her mother had said that it was always best to know your opponent, so that you knew what to expect from them. Now, Nova was hardly an 'opponent' or anything like that, however it had became a habit with Shadow by this point. She always just automatically tried to place someone's species without giving it much thought. It was really only when she was either fighting with someone, or she was unable to figure them out, that she put extra thought and effort into it.
Whatever the case, though, it didn't really matter what Nova's species was. Because she proved to be the perfect partner-in-crime for the very mischievous Shadow. Shadow had already suspected as much, of course, but Nova's final prank of the old woman proved it. Obviously Nova was a very twisted person. Much like Shadow. It was too perfect, really. Especially considering the reaction that she had managed to get out of Shadow. It was extremely rare to see Shadow laughing like that. She couldn't even remember the last time she'd gave anything more than a sarcastic chuckle, to be perfectly honest. When Nova said that it wasn't often that she got to show off, plus she had to impress her if she wanted the chance to team up with her, Shadow chuckled. Nodding her head, a small grin tugged at Shadow's lips. "You're right. I don't just team up with anyone, after all," she replied in her usual tone.
Nova went on to say that staying there had just gotten a lot more fun, and Shadow nodded her head in agreement. "I'll drink to that," she said, raising her glass in the air before taking a long drink of it and finishing it off. Once she'd sat the glass back on the counter, she pursed her lips and looked around the bar. "Whadda saw we go exploring a little? See if we can find any fresh victims?" she suggested. "I bet there's just a-" Shadow's voice trailed off as she turned around on the stool, and caught sight of someone new entering the den and bar. Shadow instantly frowned, and let out a little growl without even realizing it. "And there goes the fun," she muttered under her breath.
The new arrival in the den and bar, was a male that appeared to be somewhere in his late twenties or early thirties. With short, brown hair, dark brown eyes, and overall was rather handsome; he had a sort of ageless, classic look about him that usually made woman swoon over him. Until, he opened that mouth of his, at least. Shadow hadn't seen him a very long time, but all of the hatred she'd had for him the last time she'd seen him came rushing back and slammed into her like a ton of bricks. Oh, she'd never forgotten, she'd just managed to bury it deep down somewhere. Nate was probably the person that Shadow hated the most, and that was saying something. Although she certainly had her reasons for hating him. "Idiot incoming," she muttered, glancing over at Nova. Shadow hated Nate with a passion, but she didn't want him there as much as she hated him. The last thing she needed, was Nate opening that big mouth of his and spilling her secrets. Especially to Nova. She saw the second that he spotted her, surprise flickered across his face for just a brief second before it disappeared and was replaced by his usual cocky smirk.
Shadow crossed her arms over her chest as he walked over, and glared at him. "What are you doing here?" Shadow snapped. "Shouldn't you be under some rock or something?" she added dryly.
"Lovely to see you again too. Oh, I've been just fine, thanks for asking. And yourself? Why yes, it's been way too long, we have so much to catch up on. Still a slave, I see? No surprise, of course," Nate said, his tone was mockingly friendly, with sarcasm mixed in for good measure. Shadow ran her tongue over her teeth, trying to decide just exactly what she wanted to do to Nate. Correction, she knew what she wanted to do, she was just trying to decide how painful to make it. While she was trying to decide, Nate's eyes flickered towards Nova, giving her a once over. "You're a little pet too, aren't you? Not too bad in the looks department, although if you're hanging out with her, I'd be willing to bet that you have a bad attitude to match hers," he said, a sarcastic grin appearing on his face.

I want to die!!! My God my tourniquet Return to me salvation My God my tourniquet Return to me salvation My wounds cry for the grave My soul cries for deliverance
OOC: Hehe, very true! x) Hmmm. . . I just decided to bring Nate in to cause a little trouble for a post or two, and then planned on getting rid of him. But now I'm starting to consider maybe making a bio for him and bringing him in just to have a little fun with. I can't decide. xD

 Lilian Wolfsong
It's a shame you have no claws or teeth,
Lilian and Respeh were seated in two of the lounge chairs with two glasses, a bottle of wine and a smaller bottle of liquor on the tiny coffee table that was between the two of them. Sipping from her glass, Lilian tucked her legs up under her and gazed intently at Respeh. When she spoke however, her tone was flippant. "So, Mr. Magic Man, what do you know about slave-binding spells?" Lilian's nose twitched slightly. His scent had been memorized with ease, and she easily recognized the scent of when someone was telling the truth. Her sense of smell had always been strong, even for her species, and it was a handy skill that had served her well many times. Lilian waited patiently for Respeh to answer.
'Else you could learn what it means to be wild and free.

Respeh Shati Shai "The Son of Anubis " Respeh kept his glass in hand staring down at its contents. He didn't seem to mind her tone at all, he had no reason reason to be bothered by it. He looked up at her his golden eyes showing little emotion "Quite a bit. What is it you wish to know about it?" he asked. There were many, many ways to enslave a person to do your whims without having to use the actual effort. He detested using such methods actually. He waited for her to pose a question, drinking from his glass.

Lilian's eyes barely flickered, but inwardly she was slightly pleased. This one was hard to ruffle. A challenge was always fun. She spoke again, still flippant. "What can you tell me about breaking them?" Might as well not dance around the issue. No way in hell was Lilian going to ask him if he could break it though. That would instantly be putting him in a stronger position.

Respeh Shati Shai "The Son of Anubis " Respeh drank from his class again and was silent for a moment as he searched through his own mind for the cast knowledge of breaking such things. There was a slight curl at the corner of his lips "I know quite a bit, depends on what type of enslavement spell you've had the misfortune of falling victim to." he said. His lip no longer curled as he looked at her pretty much figuring she was beating around the bush. She was under one but obviously that wolfish nature would not allow her to request help from him out of lack of trust. Wise.
