Ark quickly came back in and assembled the cages. He left again to get some of the supplies for the birds, then came back in again, locking the door behind him. "So, does that setup look all right?" he asked Nezumi. "I want to make sure before I put them back."

"You've been acting strange again," Ark said, as he picked up the cage with the lone sun parakeet, "Are you upset about your work again or something?" As he waited for an answer he went and encouraged the bird to go into the smaller of the two cages.

"Huh? I am wearing a shirt..." He shrugged, and grabbed his dress shirt and put it on, but not buttoning it. "Not sure what the problem is there, but okay." He came back to get the other cage when Nezumi wasn't touching the birds, and went to put them in their cage.

Ark stood still, not making an effort to stop Nezumi. "What's wrong?" he asked. "If you think it's tacky to walk around with just an undershirt, I could take it off, you know."

Ark smiled. "You know, I don't mind either way. I just wasn't sure why it bothered you," he said, eyes still on Nezumi. "You know, so I can avoid similar mistakes in the future."

Ark reached out and lightly grabbed Nezumi's wrist, making sure he could easily get free. "If you have a problem, you should tell me. You seem rather uncomfortable, and you shouldn't feel that way in your own house, you know."
