It was lonely in the sled, and when Calder finally turned upright, and then wrapped Amrita's jacket and the blankets back around him, he noticed it was very lonely. Why did he have to be stuck in the sled?
Frowning, he looked over and saw everyone talking to a very snowy Malodore, and then heard yapping.
"Heeey puppies." He called out weakly, before leaning over the sled, one hand resting around his stomach as he very slowly lifted a puppy one by one into the sled. It wasn't safe for puppies here. UGH! They hurt to lift! Why were they FAT puppies?!

"Skewered, slashed, and burnt," Barth said. "...It was mainly the skewering, I think," He lowered his voice, "I'm just concerned that the Joy- well, that's alright, but he's not, I mean he's not turning grey or anything, the rat ran us through before it started...turning..."
Barth touched his side self-consciously.
Calder was pale, maybe, but his eyes weren't blue. He wasn't glowing. But if the process was slower... being infected with Insanity worried Barth more than anything.

"I don't think so..." Astra replied to Barth, trying to remember if she had seen anyone else, then wriggled some more so she could pull herself out of the snow. As to being asked if she was burnt, she shook her head, then cast a rather fearful glance behind her, then looked back, trying to remember what hypothermia meant...something about being super cold?
True, she was a little cold, given that she had only salved a scarf, but she felt much more safe under a barricade of snow, then anywhere near Jericho. "I..wasn't that cold..." She said softly.
Overhearing the conversation between everyone, she then realized that most of them were going to move out. If that was the case, then she hoped she could tag along. It would be safer to travel in a group, considering how many christmas monsters were about.

Hearing Malodore's voice from somewhere around, Jericho lifted his head to see where the doctor was. When he spotted it, he let out a small sigh of relief, nodding to its question.
"Yeah I can move. Are you alright Malodore?" he asked. It looked to be fine, though rainbowy, but he wanted to make sure just in case that wasn't quite right.

It was hard to remain unreasonably jealous when Malodore's attention drifted to her almost instantly. She gave it a warm glance, but remained where she was - it was difficult to want to move when one was this comfortable.
Oh, I am well. I can move just fine. We have just.. chosen not to. It's very warm here, you see. But if you are ready to move on, we will as well. Though, I do not need the use of their vehicle, nor do I believe I am welcome. Thankfully, my transport is secured. She patted the dragon's side gently, and finally started to shift out of her blankets. The cold hit her skin and she shuddered unhappily. Jericho was curled up enough to let her climb up using his arm for assistance, and she did so while bringing all of her blankets up with her. Then she cocooned herself up again, and flattened herself on his back.
I almost want to take a nap. It's just so very warm like this..

"Skewering? Oh dear. Any open wounds?" Malodore started over towards the slay, pausing and giving the dogs vaguely suspicious looks. It didn't trust much of anything, right now, and the rainbow still coating its lenses made everything so colorful. "Ah, if there's any blood, will you point it out? I'm afraid I'm somewhat hampered in the color-distinguishing department at the moment..."
The plague doctor turned its head at the sound of Jericho's voice. "I am, grazie. A bit chilled, but that is no problem for the undead... yourself?" It had a vague suspicion that Jericho might have started the conflagration, but... well. Dragons would burn. It was what they did.
Riley received a gentle mental caress. That is good, mia cara... we should travel together. There is strength in numbers, and in these pumpkins... but do try to stay awake. When people die of chill, I am told, they do so by falling asleep first.

Christof watched as Malodore swept past him towards Riley and Jericho, and sagged even more hunched than usual. A pleading look went to the trio before he sullenly returned to hovering by Barth, just waiting to be useful. A tool in a drawer, waiting for it's use. The dogs were tired, and with everyone on the sleigh... he supposed Jericho could pull it with ease, but somehow he doubted the dragon would be agreeable.
With little else to do to occupy himself, he moved to pick up the reigns, making sure they were still firmly attached to the sled before wrapping them around his arms and shoulders. It would be difficult to get going, but once it was, physics would do the rest... then it was just a matter of finding a good hill, and they'd make a break for safety.
But would Mistress and the others join them was the question he didn't dare ask, not after his previous behavior.

No more, then. Just the seven of them.
"...Christof stitched it. After- but it was open for some time."
Barth hesitated, before lightly touching Calder's neck and shoulder, where the blankets were curled back.
"Calder?" He asked, quietly, "Do you mind if Malodore has a look?" He added, "...Not quite yet, Christof," in case Christof started carting them away before Malodore had a chance to examine the damage.

Calder was in the sleigh, with the puppies he picked up, and sitting with his blankets. He never had been in a sled before, but couldn't fully enjoy the experience. Instead, he was trying to gather the puppies under the blankets with him to get the warmth back and to keep the puppies warm. he was deeply envious that, upon petting them, he found they had soft, thick fur. Lucky!
When he felt cold claws on his neck and shoulders, he tensed, and then looked up at the sloth demon with a tired smile, rather out of it in all sense of the word.
Then Malodore soon was nearby, and the took a moment to slowly digest what was being said. "Oh.....uh...okay."
The idea of pulling back layers greatly bothered him, as it was very cold out, but he pulled back the blankets, and then the jacket, and then his slender jacket, and then the shirt, which was very much stained by his own fear that had spilled out during the sword attack. There were bandages, poorly tied around his waist, before he showed off the stitching. It was impressive, but sadly most were either pulling or tearing. A risk when you shifted and then raced after a Chopper and Doom Buggy.
Calder winced, looking at it, and there was a faint smell of hot cocoa from where he tried to drink some and it...well, had no other place to go aside from the empty void. It seemed his insides were gently absorbing it nonetheless, though a bit of it was now seeping out of the wound. Just looking at it made Calder feel light-headed. "Can I cover up now?"

Malodore leaned in, peering at the wound and inwardly cursing the rainbow staining its vision. "Ah... oh dear. Let's increase the pressure, there, to cut down on the seepage. Excellent stitching, Christof... well done..." It pulled out some bandages from its sleeve, shook the snow off, then looked over at Barth and Christof.
"Quickly, before the cold does damage - let's bind this and hold it firm." The plague doctor quickly folded some of the bandages into a compress. "Press this against the wound, then use the other bandages to hold it in place."
((Negating healing roll as per MK's wishes, we'll just say that didn't happen XD))

"We'll have you warm again in a moment," Barth said reassuringly. But all the fighting and walking and transforming had done a number on Christof's stitches, and it was hard to say what the interior damage was. Barth had been keeping his moving around to a minimal.
He moved the touch to the side, as instructed, using his palm to press the bandage in place. "Sorry," he said, trying to be gentle.

It was strange how familiar he was getting to the touch of claws, and while Malodore's was different to the sloth demon's, it was not all that foreign in it's shape. In fact, for something that looks as sharp and dangerous as the undead's claws, they were strangely gentle, and he waited, as the doctor looked him over, before Barth came to press a wad of cloth on his gut.
He hissed between his teeth, but only nodded when Barth apologized. It certainly wasn't the demon's intention to hurt him after all. All he wanted now was to wait for whatever they needed to do, and then get warm again. After that, he hoped whatever all this was could blow over so he could head to the Infirmity, curl up in one of the cots, and hope that Nurse Cricket had the kindness to light a fireplace or to allow the puppies to sleep with him while he rested. As it was, it seemed like an endless time since he would get that long desired nap. "Thanks, Mal, for always doing this." He always felt he was demanding so much out of a boil who was just as student like the rest of them.

Malodore moved the other bandages around Calder's form swiftly, binding the compress in place. "There, now - bundle up again, and get warm. As warm as you can, as fast as you can... perhaps something else you can help with, Barth?" Neither it nor Christof would be any good at sharing body heat, after all. It came with being undead.
At Calder's comment, Malodore tilted its head to one side. "It is no problem. If one cannot care for one's amici, then who can one care for?"

There was a muffled groan as a pile of pumpkin guts and rainbows slowly shifted out from under the glittery snow revealing the semi-recognizable form of Mandy. The last thing she remembered was the Santa Scout exploding and... Riley's pumpkin hurtling towards her face? Ugh, she must have been knocked out by it, splattering both their pumpkins over her.
...She hoped there where no long lasting affects from that. She also renewed her vow to stay away from Riley because bad stuff happened whenever she saw the ghoul.
It was then Mandy noticed her, and everyone elses that had been there during the explosion, state.
"...What the Jack."
...at least they seemed to have reinforcements and oddly she was starting to feel better despite just being in an explosion.

"Oh, err, yes," Barth said, flushing at the suggestion of warming Calder up quickly.
Good. He looked...well, less messy now, if still on the weak side. And Malodore hadn't said anything about an infection.
"-He shouldn't be jostled about, though?" he asked the question slightly pointed for Christof's benefit. "Or...transforming and running about, or anything like that?" ...That one for Calder.
