Tori had been glad that Wilson was going to check out the surveillance room out as she knew he had a better knowledge to what they were going to hunt and she trusted with what he knew. So more focus on the other tasks that needed to get done. Looking at the text that she had gotten from Leon about the cage that need to get built, she did have a vague idea of what one looked like she had never build one herself, but she texted him back with what she knew. Text to Leon I'm not too sure, what I know is to make it strong enough where our target can't escape. Once more Tori decided that she was going to do drill again since she sucked at them yesterday. Getting up early as she wandered over to the practice fields. For the first hour she did alright, until her weapon decided to ask more questions, but from at least some of those questions she did make more progress that she did in the first hour. Then it was more questions that Tori got a little upset with him that they needed to practice for there mission. With a little threatening of not answering anymore questions for a while if he didn't stop asking them and he did stop asking them. Also he had been a little helpful in giving as she made better progress with the drills than she had yesterday. Tori was glad for this as it made her feel more productive for the team. Thinking that she might do a little more drills tomarrow as practice makes perfect and then do some of the other work as well. She'd planned to get up early and get to work. What ended up happening was she slept in for an extra hour and then was in such a mad panic to be up and productive that she ended up getting a lot more done than she'd originally intended.
She'd started off her day, for the most part, running around to make sure she got things together based on what research their group had done to make sure she knew they could take care of the thing when they actually caught it.
If they did. Though she was confident Marcus could build up something nice.

The next morning Ceres decided she needed to spend doing somehting other than drills. Drills were important, granted.... Takeru was 'drilling' that in to her skull enough. So instead she made a deal with her over protective kirin-belt-buckle. The morning would be dedicated to building... while the afternoon would go toward drills. Either way she was going to be getting sweaty, and probably bruised, so it was not like she was avoiding her duties... right? Either way, the first 4 hours of building were insanely fruitful for her. Well... they at least managed something small to hold it down. Maybe tomorrow she could do better. The drills... went more as planned. Bruised? Yup. Sore? Oh hell yes. The day went by without much in the way of problems, just the continuous labor of picking up and putting down supplies in a secure area until it was time to build something. It was the kind of quiet physical labor that Leon enjoyed when it didn't revolve around fighting. Construction. that was his fallback plan should something happen to his boxing career. Looked like he was going to have to add secret scientist in the middle of nowhere as a potential career to boot. If he was lucky, he was going to be just like Dr H. and commit numerous sexual advances on people between projects. The next day came with a string of texts that light his phone up like some kind of Christmas tree, it didn't help that the ringtone went from "Ali in the Jungle" to "Jingle bells" in the span of a single night. The boxer went through them idly as the teapot began to boil a cup of tea to greet the day and the next 16 hours of preparations to make. However his team didn't really have much of an opinion on what to build yet, personal plans were still happening and drills and research was still going on. leon didn't see anything wrong with that, it wasn't as if they were slacking, and he could do with a review on his takedown procedures from yesterday. It took up a good portion of his day, trying to figure out how to restrain while still holding onto a dangerous, mechanical weapon that's more inclined to destroy. but after the headlocks and dropkicks and figure four leglocks that bordered on wrestling moves, the life hunter felt more confident that they had a good chance to take down subject "Ho ho ho" as he was going to call it. Bix didn't text his teammates until most of his day was over. He'd woke up and begun to read, hoping to get a more precise idea of what they were dealing with. Cass's text came in next so he decided to switch gears, hoping to improve their drills. Bix took to the fields and tried things out and when he was done he sent his team mates both texts. demon_pachabel Did two hours of research this morning, spent 3 hours on drills so here's something new to try. Although she hadn't been completely satisfied with her drills the day before, at the dawn of the third day Petra took up residence in the moon department, monopolizing one of its many rooms in order to start work on the trap that would hopefully ensnare their prey. Normally, any dissatisfied feelings would have prompted her straight into one of the training rooms, but today something was decidedly off about the cool moon-trainee, a miasma lingering as if to sap any motivation from her.
That, and she had no desire to see that training room for a long while.
Settling down with a long roll of parchment paper, Petra picked up one of the pencils and rulers, already starting to map out a schematic of a preliminary design, glad for something to take her mind off of the weight which had settled on her shoulders. It was getting to the point where Ryan figured it was best to work at something he was actually good at. Something that he was trained to do. Because honestly, he was doing poorly at just about everything else. Then again... as frustrating as it was, he was going to have to get a little more effort in with the drilling, or he was going to fail miserably when the time came to actually capture whatever it was they were supposed to catch. He was sure of it. It didn't help that he swore Ceres was turning things into a competition. He had no idea what he did to upset her, but he knew a competitive spirit when he saw it.
Well whatever! Tomorrow he'd do building. Something that was a little more up his alley than the other tasks.

The next day, Tedan started out with some drills, and then once he was good and warmed up, he decided to go scout around for good materials to build their cage with. He'd made sure to brush up on details about the creature beforehand. So really, it wasn't a problem at all to find some things he thought would work well. The next day, Vanessa found herself moving back to the area they'd been practicing drills previously. She still had a bit more work she needed to do on them before she'd think she was ready to face their potential assailant.
After several hours, Vanessa decided she was good to go for the mean time. She had some experience with these drills now. They'd be able to fight it off well now, probably. Petra was feeling to sluggish today to be startled by Jordan's appearance, his words merely coaxing her to tilt her head to look up at him, expression relaxed. He was one of the few whom could boast such a response -- although they hadn't had the chance to have much in-depth conversation, beyond missions, he had a way about him that was just comforting, trustworthy. It was for this reason she straightened a little from where she sat at the desk, flicking her eyes to the note she had written in the corner, not only unperturbed by his presence but grateful for it.
"'Undetermined coordinate system,'" she replied simply, looking back up at him after reading it, "I couldn't remember the size of the thing we're looking for. Subject... X?"
She vaguely remembered Deryk calling it something similar to that.
