They did look a great deal alike, and Nathaniel loved it, yet couldn't stand it at the same time. He didn't want to lose Andromeda like he had lost her. He didn't want to go through all that. He perked up as he she said she had seen the face before. But where? "Where did you see her face?" He asked. His tone a tad bit protective.
He didn't care about anything else she had said. But the fact that she might know Evelyn made him happy for some reason. He didn't know why, but it did.

"I don't remember," she said faintly. "I don't remember a good deal, you know."
She paused and wished that she could give him a more solid answer than that. Whenever a person was grieving, they tended to cling to whatever bit of that person was left. A jewel, a bit of clothing; even someone else's memory could be a lovely pearl to be harvested and then cloistered.
Andromeda leaned forwards and tucked her legs into her chest, resting her head on her knees. She turned her light brown eyes to him. Before she had been staring at the crux of her own elbow.
"What else was there about her? Was she a good person? I bet she was."

He didn’t ask about her memory. Perhaps it was a mental disorder or maybe she just had had amnesia. He doubted asking her about it would help at all. He bit his lip at her question. She was great, but was he supposed to say? His heart fluttered every time he looked at Andromeda, but it still ached for Evelyn. Was he supposed to tell her all the good things about Evelyn, and make himself seem pathetic, or just say that she was nothing. But she wasn’t. She was his everything back then.
He sighed and decided to go with the truth. ”She was great. Beautiful, talented, dorky, kind, absolutely amazing. You’d love her. I just know you two would get along.”

Andromeda smiled as he described her. From the way he went on, he must have really cared for her, though the brunette wasn't sure if dork was considered a compliment or not. The tenderness in his voice made her feel as if it were a term of endearment rather than an insult but she, prior to him, had only heard of it in a negative light.
"You know, even though she isn't around anymore, it sounds like you two had something special going on. Love like that never dies, you know."

He sighed. That's what he had thought. But what had it been that drove her to suicide, even after he had told her that he never wanted to lose her. After he had publicly said in front of his friends, that one day he planned to marry her, and didn't do it yet, for his mother wouldn't approve. What was it? He looked down at his finger as he played with a loose piece of string, from a pillow nearby.
He looked down at Andromeda and asked softly, "Have you ever.. well, fallen in love, or at least thought you have?"

"I've never been given the chance to," she said softly. She turned her gaze to the floor for a moment. It was a little shameful, wasn't it? Andromeda devoted most of her time to the gardens. There wasn't much time for it, even if romance was a secret dream of hers.
"I suppose it makes me completely inappropriate to give you comforting words on these sorts of things, huh?"

"Of course not." He said immediately. "Just cause one hasn't had experience with a lover, doesn't mean they can't give advice about love." He grinned at her. A mischievious smirk appeared on his face as he said, "How about we play truth or dare? I can call up Sebastian to play with us, to make things more interesting."

Andromeda, in her entire life, had never played a game of truth or dare. Her four other roommates and herself never were awake enough at the end of a hard day of work to do something like that. Not only that but at least two of them assume that it was a silly sort of game. The young women smiled and nodded her head. Everything was worth trying once.
"Sure. This will be my first time doing it." she told him. "Isn't that horribly embarrassing?"

He chuckled. "It's not embarrassing at all, there's a first for everything." He gave her a playful wink and pulled out his phone. He dialed a the palace kitchen and asked for Sebastian. "He'll be up in a sec."
Sebastian popped his head in and looked to Nathaniel. "You rang?" He then noticed Andromeda there. "This is the first time, after Evelyn, that you brought a girl here." Nathaniel's cheeks grew a light pink and he changed the topic, "We're about to play truth or dare. Care to join?" Sebastian's face lit up in a grin. "Of course! Who first?" He pointed at Andromeda, "Truth or dare?"

What a strange device that Nathaniel used. It was something she was used to seeing on the nobility and she could not get past that there were phones people could carry around. Sure, there were ones at the palace, but it was nothing like the pocket sized thing the prince was using.
She smiled towards the door as Sebastian entered. At least she wouldn't be playing this game all by herself, though she really wouldn't have minded more time with Nathaniel either.
"Me? First?!" she balked. "Well... um... dare maybe?"

Sebastian smirked and bit the inside of his cheek, thinking of a dare."Go tell a maid that you're lesbian and then wink at her." Nathaniel snickered, wondering if she'd actually do the ridiculous dare.

Andromeda shifted in her seat. Would she risk the further scorn of the maids by pretending that? Then again, they would likely be so relieved that she wasn't gunning for the prince like they were. Dealing with women was tricky; they were so judgmental and closed minded... at least these women were. The gentry of the palace seemed far more accepting.
"I guess that is doable," she said very slowly. The young woman lifted herself from the beanbag chair and she ran towards the door to do the deed, leaving the two to talk amongst themselves.
She first ran into a young woman with brassy orange hair and blue eyes. She was a mousy thing and, Andromeda was sure, that she wouldn't say anything. Perfect. Her eyes shined.
"Oh! I am sorry!" she exclaimed, helping the girl up.
"No worries." The young woman said. "You are okay, right Dromeda?"
"Ooooh, I'm fine. You know I feel comfortable telling you this but I don't know why everyone is getting upset over the prince and I. I mean, the reason we get along so well is because... well... I'm a lesbian."
The girl's face turned rosy and she looked away. "What?"
"Yep. I am totally one." She winked at the mousy young woman and then dashed off.

Nathaniel and Sebastian had watched from a distance and hurried up back into the attic-like room just to burst out laughing.
"Did you see her face --"
"And her eyes --"
They burst out laughing again just as she walked in. Nathaniel had to wipe away a tear as he said with a snicker, "Your turn."

Andromeda's face was beat red. At least they got a kick out of her embarrassment. Still she was grateful for that opportunity. Now she could convince the palace servants there was nothing romantic going on between her and the prince.
"I am not sure who to ask... I guess Nathaniel," she said. "Truth or dare?"

He bit his lip thinking for a bit. A dare wouldn't be too bad, but it would require him to move. But a truth might me him spill all his secrets. His secrets were a ton worse than what he could actually do. He decided on it and grinned. "Dare."
Sebastian arched an eyebrow and smirked at Andromeda, signalling to make this dare quite embarrassing.
