Nothing seemed real. Ariana's eyes were so focused on the snitch that was trying to escape from the girl that she shut out everything around her. Wind flapped through her hair, but her goggles kept her eyes wide open and staring.
Hannah watched as Ariana spotted the snitch in front of her. At the same time a bludger flew towards Hannah once again. She sighed as she was getting a bit tired of this and swung at the ball aiming at Ariana by accident.... O.o.C:

Sam's frustration was beginning to boil inside him. A quick glance to the stands and Sam saw Caitlin cheering for him. He gave a small smile and then tucked his chin to his chest, locking in the determination. He needed to locate the Snitch, to prove that he deserved this position and to prove to Gryffindor that they can still win these things.

Ariana inched closer and closer towards the shiny winged sphere. It was about the size of her palm, and she found it! Now, she just needed to grasp onto it. Because of how fast the item was moving, the girl had been moving just as quickly. Once again, Hannah's attempt at hitting her with a bludger failed.
Hannah once again hit the bludger, but the ball went in the wrong direction. She was getting frustrated at this, but at least she kept hitting the ball. O.o.C:

Hannah hit the bludger towards Ariana and, even though she was on the enemy team, Sam felt a little annoyed at her. Thankfully it missed. Sam cursed under his breath and focused. He needed to locate the snitch asap.

It was right there! How could she not get it? With every second that passed, Ariana couldn't figure out if it accelerated, or if she did. The speed they were flying at was so fast that the warm air felt cold on contact with the girl's faded tan from the summer.

He needed to remain focused and concentrate on locating the snitch. He could see where Ari was, but he couldn't make out the snitch she was chasing. He was determined though.

It was now or never. Ariana leaned forward on her Nimbus 2001, causing the broom to slightly speed up. The hair that was attached in a perfect ponytail was starting to come out of her hair elastic, caused by the strong winds. The girl's agility had to be close to perfect in order for her to catch this snitch as it inched away slightly. This had to be it. The second year girl stuck her right arm out, which was her good hand. Her fingers closed over top of her palm, and when she let go...

A determined look crossed Sam's face and he decided a change of scenery would be the better idea. He flitted about the field, intensifying his already intense search for the snitch.

Ariana's facial expression said it all. She looked confused and lost. "What- where did it go?" Not one person cheered. She obviously did not even touch the golden snitch. The girl had stopped abruptly, which caused her to almost jerk off of her broom. Looking around, the girl could not see where it went. She looked up at Sam who also didn't seem to have found it.

Well, Ariana seemed to have stopped chasing the snitch, so she must have lost it. That brought a little comfort to him, but he felt bad that his friend lost the snitch. If it had been any other team that Hufflepuff was playing, Sam would be cheering her on. He shrugged and redoubled his efforts to locate the snitch.

A frown creeped up onto Ariana's face as she realized she just let her whole house down. I have to find that thing! her brain screamed at her. She just couldn't let Samuel find the snitch and catch it before she did.

His blood was pumping in his ears as the yelling of the crowd intensified. A large head ache was developing and Sam was beginning to feel tired. Shaking his head, he tried to clear his mind, and get the pain to stop. He grumbled as he scanned for the snitch.
