Sailor Ammolite Sure sure....I'm too lazy to summarize so I will just quote her xp "For fitting in best with people's backgrounds, it seems like the "Saphir found people with magical potential and injected them with Sailor Nemesis' essence in an attempt to further his dark plots" route seems best. The Biyotik senshi/knights are his successes. Actually, if the Biyotiks are his successes, what about his failures? They could be normal people that he attempted to turn into Biyotiks but who for some reason rejected the process and are now mindless minions (baddies-of-the-day, if you will) that are little more than pawns." Ahhhh, now I remember, thank you! 3nodding
For some reason I read what I bolded completely differently last night. Asteria, you are a saint... that's brilliant! The villian-of-the-day would definitely help people with having was to exercise character development in regards to powers in addition to giving our current villian(s) a breather. wink
Though, I am wondering exactly how this would be implemented. Would someone just apply for villian of the day and wait to be announced as villian of the day/week/whatever? Would they need to fit a certain standard or protocol? Where would they inhabit (ex Earth, Nemesis, the moon...)? Would they be "summoned" to a certain location by Saphir? I think this could be extremely interesting so long as we put some kind of system in order to appease roleplay structure. We'd also have to make sure these villians weren't as difficult to destroy as some of the other major villians may be (*hint hint Nemesis hint*) Anybody wanna take this to the proposals so we can go more in depth with it?

• Which character are you applying for? Sailor Jet • Do you have a posting color you'd like to incorporate into your posts? Black like the stone. Simple enough • Will you be able to sign in and post in the guild at least once per week? Fairly sure I will. If I become lax I welcome a swift kick in the arse as a reminder. • What kind of relationship do you want to have with your senshi/knight? optional • Do you have any ideas for your character? So far just basic fuku and normal appearance and minor ideas for her powers. And a few threads of a backstory for her. Fuku Normal • Roleplay Sample: Milena had never planned for her life to go this way. She'd always been the oddball sure, but to be singled out among her group of friends was a first for her. And then for it to be something as momentous as this? She was beside herself. The young Miss Tucson felt honored that she was given such an honor, to serve the greater good. At least that what she believed her role to be. And no one could persuade her otherwise. And while she'd never been unhappy she now had new found purpose.

• Which character are you applying for? Sapphire Knight • Do you have a posting color you'd like to incorporate into your posts? Blue • Will you be able to sign in and post in the guild at least once per week? Yeah, if i end up screwing up go ahead and shoot me. • What kind of relationship do you want to have with your senshi/knight? Anything (Yes i know i should have left it blank) • Do you have any ideas for your character? Yes, but im looking and thinking of other ideas so its something but not complete. • Roleplay Sample: Looking down the elegant, sharp edge of his pure Sapphire blade, Nathan began to think about what would happen. He entered a flashback without being completely aware of and saw those he lost, smiling at the thought of seeing them. He stood up and walked to the center of the chamber and lifted his blade and impaled the floor, piercing it as if there were no resistance from the stone floor. He looked up which a moment after a crystal textured beam rose from his sword as it released immense pressure, testing Nathan if he was worthy. Holding his ground, the gust died and the beam was silent, lightning up the night sky. The stars glimmered with hope as Nathan was about to embark on a quest....a quest to find himself that he has lost so long ago.

You're both in! Just be sure to send me a link to the account you will be using to roleplay them on, whether it's on a mule or on your current (though we do prefer mules/avatars dressed as the characters).

ROSETTA-MY-LOVE I pmed him, but he has not been on. Hmm... I'll try and find out if he has any other accounts and try to get ahold of him. Since he's not replying, I'll just accept your submission and list Bloodstone as officially taken. Sorry about that!

Granted, my knowledge is a tad bit rusty.... But what if the failures are hidden right in plain sight? As in they function as normal people and everything and their 'powers' are laying asleep within them and they dont even know it. Then, when Saphir needs them to do something, he can trigger a reaction in them that can then awaking said 'failure' powers?

Like in the manga with Tomoe's failed experiments eventually transforming into monsters at a 'critical' point (or something). While his successes were the Witches 5.

Exactly. ^.^ Or heck, we could even have a failure or two start the reaction themselves if they are over stressed or what not. Say like.... one of the test subjects was a student that was getting picked on a lot... and having trouble balancing their school work with a part time job... and the reaction happens and they go berserk. Could add a second layer to the failures. Such as once that Saphir can control and ones he cant. (The cant ones being the worse of the group) Would also give a chance to expand the story a bit as it would make things a bit more interesting for the scouts to 'deduce' whom is behind all the villainy.

Actually it was me who wrote that, but that's okay. As for who would "play" the baddies, instead of making a new account for them they could perhaps be posted by the Cat God guild leader? We could have a sort of open audition, where anyone can create a minion and send a description/tektek/picture/whathaveyou to the guild leader in a PM, and then the crew can use them as they see fit. That way the crew isn't shouldered with the burden of creating a ton of enemies to fight, but the roleplay isn't overflooded with them. EDIT: And I agree with the idea of the "failures" hiding in plain sight. It could lead to a lot of interesting battles.

ROSETTA-MY-LOVE I pmed him, but he has not been on. I just got back after a rough weekend. And it won't let me reply to her since she has it set to friends list only. Here's my reply. Quote: I'm quite alright with whoever wants to take Sailor Bloodstone. As for character ideas, I've been sort of winging it, since I'm used to a pure Mercury theme, whereas this is a gem theme. I don't know the background of this version that well yet, so I'm basically making myself a leader/medic type. Which I suppose is what I always do... I want to be from Earth, but there is nothing to say you have to be as well. The only thing I believe has to connect a knight to a sailor is an innate need to protect them in battle. After that, it is up to their own hearts. Let the roles be decided as they go along. I will mention that I can't be guaranteed to be online on weekends. M-R is usually okay. Sunday sometimes. *looks at her intro* Please don't be insane around me. That scares me. Ever since my anime club watched Higurashi... Maybe if having me around will be a calming effect to her, or at least a voice of reason.

It'll most definitely be this one. I have no mule that I can dress up as her or afford to do so.

Phwaaa. >.< I am sorry. I must have forgot to set my pms back to all. My dad had me setting my pms to friends. : C Generally, I usually wing it as well so we can both wing it together, but I will most likely be more of an offensive type. So, it should even out. I have no problem with coming from earth. : 3 And I agree. A Sailor and her knight are battle partners. >w< It is alright if you can not be on all the time. I am not sure if I will be on everyday, but once a week is always good. Haha. Alright, I will tone down the insanity. You can be the Karkat to my Gamzee and we can be the best of morails. : 3

I have no idea what Karkat, Gamzee, or morails are.
I've always played knights under the assumption that sailors are the primary attackers, and knights are defenders with special effects. Like a sword and shield. A shield can defend, but it can shield bash too.
Take Tuxedo Mask. He tends to stun the enemy and let the Sailors finish them off. He isn't meant for power, but for diversion.
Check my character in the profiles section for more info on him and Bloodstones.
