The Magic Busters

Johan watched as another second year ghoul walked up, this one even paler than he. When she held out her hand, Johan refrained from taking it, instead bowing to her formally, a gesture out of sorts with their current uniforms.

"A pleasure to meet you, Tsetsiliya." he returned, only stumbling over her name a little. Straightening up, he mumbled it under his breath a little, trying to memorize the odd syllables.

"It iz a lovely name." he assured her, taking another glance at the crowd, wondering who the final member could be. It was good that they had two second years in the group, but Johan was beginning to wonder if he would be the only boil! Forbidding any sort of blush from coming to his cheeks, he straightened his uniform again before taking a breath and addressing the ghouls.

"Haf ve all been on a previous field trip?" he asked, looking for the tell-tale signs of dread from those that had survived the last ones. "Since ve are just vaiting at ze moment, it might be a good idea to brief anyone not familiar vith zis particular torture zey like to call a field trip."

Cady frowned at Demi, somewhat confused. "Barbequed pretzels? What? They DO THAT?" That was strange enough, but all this talk of cloaked figures...

"But. Those. They're wearing cloaks." She pointed at the bogeymen standing next to Red. "Isn't this their house? Or something? Are we supposed to like...clean it?" She frowned harder. Cady DID NOT do cleaning, but the building looked awfully abandoned. What else could they be doing?

At Demi's continued hole-y lament, she fanned her wings a little. "It's ok! I'm sure we can get you out, in a reasonable amount of, you know, bits." She squinted at him critically. "You might even be light enough for only one trip!" That would be ideal, after all. Cutting him into pieces to carry him out of a hole would be messy.

Team Awesome

“Uh…” Hel crossed her arms as she stared at the outfit more, watching Freya twirl around in it. “…Sister, it’s not very battle practical!” The reaper informed rather bluntly. “You look very lovely yes, the enemy will think you care more about your looks than being a skilled warrior!” Here Hel shook her head and poked Freya’s hip. “But you’ll make it work, yes?” She peered over at her sister’s group, snorting with amusement at their outfits…wait…what was Herryk wearing? Dear Jack.

“…Ah…yes…” Suddenly Hel was very glad they were only wearing arm bands. “Psshaw, sister. I don’t need anyone to keep me safe!” She retorted. “If anything, I should be warning you to stay responsible! Your group needs to be saved from you.”

The ghoul turned her head though, when Mitsu called out to Mot, and her looked curious as she regarded the cowboil as well. “Ah, are you crashing now, friend?” She questioned, sounding amused. Had that coffee finally caught up to him? When he pulled his hat down though, and looked away, the reaper’s brows furrowed. “Uh…Mot, what is wrong?”

Oh dear. Hel was concerned. Mot's nerves began working in overdrive, hastily urging him to flee and hide. Of course he couldn't. Not here or now. The reaper shifted uncomfrotably, waving his hand in dismissal.
"I'm fine." He said almost too insistently.
Freya's little test of loyalty had left Mot somewhat rattled. Dealing with it, he was not. Not well, anyway. Somehow seeing the pair together made it worse. He could talk to Hel just fine before. But with Freya there, all he could think of was her room and..

Mot grimaced, shaking his head violently. "Ragh! Nothing, Nothing." The boil turned his back on her.

West frowned. That hadn't been precisely what he had meant. He was confident he could kick more a** than Levi or Holly, not Levi and Holly. But he couldn't exactly say that right now, could he? No. It would make him seem like a weepy scareling if he retracted his statement at this point.

He took the pill without comment, stuffing it into the front pocket of his bag. West wasn't silent for long though, muttering, "You're on," at the pair (well, trio, but he didn't think Savior was paying him much mind) before turning his attention to the other students gathered around the portal.

Prior to this, he hadn't been focusing on who else had arrived, but now he saw them: short, tall, brave, meek, familiar, unfamiliar. He spotted Tset and smirked to himself. Hopefully the ghoul would be less scared of kicking a** this time around. West turned back to Holly and Levi, already bored by his surroundings.

"I think we're in fer... fun." Especially if something spooked the tatzel.

Team Awesome

Riyo tensed up as she heard a voice call out to her, the thoughts of what lay ahead shattering. She knew even before turning around who it was. Ah crap. The ghoul had wanted to avoid as many people seeing her in this cat-clad outfit as possible.

"About as much as I look forward to a splinter." The feline mumbled, awkwardly adjusting her striped jacket with cat-ear adorned hood as if she was magically expecting it to grow as long as her coat. And the absence of her hat made the ghoul reach up and try to pat down something that wasn't there. This sucked. "Our group is ironically named and I'm already tired of being around them."

Wait. What the... "... W-what are you wearing?" After examining the baku's outfit, her crimson glance focused on the hat. It seemed neither practical nor casual, which is what she had been told to wear.

"Yup!, I'm sure" Astra said towards mandy. "I'm stronger then I look". She couldn't help but to smile to herself, reveling in a sense of confidence that came from saying those words, and actually believing them.

She was almost iggling when she had realized tess had said something about checking their belongings, and promptly brought herself back to...wherever they were. "Oh! Y-yes your right tess" She took off her bag and looked through it. "I jave a blanket, a compass, some rope, and some shampoo and all that stuff."

Team Luminous Flux

LW blinked between the adorableness (and yes, hotness) that was Natalia and Whisper. She was glad to see the hellhound! Last time she'd saw her was....err, well. Not a good time. Of course this was not included the recent times she'd seen her while they formed their group. The she-wolf was very glad to see her happy and doing well! She gave her fellow canine a cheerful wave, shocked she was suddenly feeling much more excited than she should be, considering this was a field trip. And field trips never ended well.

"Hi Natalia!" LW called back, giggling at the lemur. She was clearly excited about this as well. Hopefully their excitement wouldn't get tarnished too terribly bad in this...haunted...house. The she-wolf shivered a little. After all, Mei's words did hold some truth to them. Especially the part about dying...This time it was a shudder that shook her tail that assaulted her this time. Best not to thin like that.

"And of course you too, Whisper." She added in a little tail wag for them before her attention was drawn to Mortimer. A big warm grin sprang across her lips as she moved to grab the hand of the outstretched arm of the boil. "And you too, Mortimer!" She was quite glad the boil had approached them when he had. Not only had they needed another member, but LW loved meeting new people! And really, the boil was adorable and sweet so far as she could tell. She released his hand and moved back as Mei gave him a pat on the back for offering to carry their bags. See? He was a total sweetheart.

LW tilted her head slightly to hear what Natalia whispered (loud enough for their group to hear) and snorted in amusement. She was probably right. Mei could attest to LW doing something of that nature in the last scary haunted house...tent...thing she'd been in. She had clung to the doll that whole time.

Speaking of Mei, LW nodded towards her when no one else jumped up to claim the pills. LW herself didn't want to carry them, knowing how her luck had gone during the last field trip- and that was enough of that! "Sure thing. Here." The she-wolf dumped the three pills into Mei's hand.

Not able to help herself, LW scanned the crowd of other groups around her, looking for certain faces. Well, one very important face in particular. But she didn't see any golden head with fluffy ears or freckles. Tail twitching, she tried to remind herself that not only would her boilfriend be fine, he had two of her best friends with him. He would be fine. Right? Stop that! It's too early to think that way. Turning to her group, LW gave a quirky smile. "So we all ready to tackle this haunted house and teach it not to mess with Luminous Flux?"
