Stage One had built her confidence up.
Stage Two took it back down. On the first obstacle none the less. A frustrated groan was heard from the valkyrie as she plummeted into the pool below.

But still, she ever so determined. Hel marched right back to Stage One, and completed it like before. She then swiftly made her way back right to Stage Two.

No mishaps this time!
Hel managed to clear the first obstacle, and the rest from there was smooth sailing! Dare she feel hopeful? Yes. The ghoul marched her way over to Stage Three.

STAGE 3 BEGIN! (Attempt 2)
Here she was once again. The third and final stage.
Hel was rocking it pretty well! She was cautious throughout the first obstacles, and she drew closer and closer to the end, and her hope swelled as she saw the last obstacle within sight. She was so close…! So close she could almost taste the victory, so close she could almost—

It was the third and final attempt for the day before she had to stop.
There was no time to dwell over that…that mishap at the last obstacle on the final stage. As she once told a certain rich demoness, one could not keep their eyes locked on the past, but the future! Hel completed Stage One and once again moved onto Stage Two.

STAGE 2 START! (Attempt 3)
Another day. The fourth day in the row she’d return to her room without the accomplishment of Terror Warrior underneath her…err…apron?
Hel couldn’t even experience disappointment at this point anymore. She was becoming rather well acquainted with the pool, and it was with quiet acceptance that she pulled herself out of it. The reaper wrung out her braids and apron, and then stomped off to Jack knows where.
She’s be back again tomorrow.

STAGE 1 GO!
Looking at the score board, Astra was still in shock. she was currently leading with her score, beating others whom she was sure should have done better.
But then, Riley was a pretty good instructor....
Considering she had done so well before, there was no reason why she couldn't give the obstacle course another go, and went to the starters line in preparation. Once the signal was given, she was off in a flash towards the first obstacle, jumping through the slanting platforms then moving onto the second one. She was able to hold onto the log, then jump across the trampolines before making a mad dash across the log with the spinning blades.
Finally, she reached the curved wall and held on tight as she climbed up, reach the top and grabbing the rop to swing herself across to the finish line. Yay!

STAGE 2 START!
Reaching the second stage, Astra grabbed hold of the chain and shimmied down it, making sure to grab the next one so she wouldn't fall into the water below. She then grabbed the bar for the next part of the course and moved up the ladder, sliding it into each ledge as she went.
The next few obstacles were a little easier for the fairy. She was able to slide down the rail, climb across the two shifting walls, then swing herself across the gap with one of the chains. Now, she was faced with the last one, the one with the really heavy walls...
To which she was again, able to lift each of them in turn. It just went to show how much a good instructor could improve a student. Wait till she faced Riyo and Jericho again!

STAGE 3 BEGIN!
Astra had been doing so well on the third stage, that she thought she would be able to complete all of them again this time. However, the cliffhanger proved to be her downfall this time. Even with her small size, she got about half way before she lost her grip, falling into the water below.
For a few moments she panicked, but was able to get herself to drier ground.
Oh well. At least she had completed two of the stages this time.

Despite his previous failures, the horse boil was not going to be discouraged! Once again he made another go, having become accustomed to the first stage and knowing what to expect, Petro managed to survive the first stage.

STAGE 2 START!
Unlike his earlier attempt, Petro was more careful this time whenever he was lifting. This was the loincloth Hel had woven for him and he didn't want anything to happen to it. He'd already dropped a wall on it yesterday and so he needed to take extra precaution this time around. And it seemed his extra care allowed him to pass the second stage and advance to the third stage!

Having this be his first attempt at the final stage, Petro decided to err on the side of caution. Which, apparently, was a mistake because he immediately got off to a wobbly start and completely failed at the second obstacle.

Another day, another attempt.
Maybe Hel was being hopeful but today felt…different…right. Like maybe something good was going to come about this! Hopefully, she wasn’t being too hopeful.
…Maybe she was being too hopeful as she splashed into the pool below.

This wasn’t fun anymore.
Hel was sticking to it though. She had to beat it, she just had too. Her sister would never let her live it down if she didn’t complete this.
The reaper paused, and took a deep breath. She then shook her head, as if she was clearing her thoughts, and tackled the first stage again. This time, she managed to get through it with grim determination.

Hel moved onto Stage two.
After five days of trying, trying and trying, she seemed to get the hint that she shouldn’t get overconfident, and she didn’t! The reaper worked her way through the second stage with her brows furrowed in concentration. This time, she was rewarded with another completed success and made her way to stage three.
