[ ROCK CANDY GET: 2 ]Ulmuka was despairing. He was so close!! He'd leaned against one of the walls to wipe his brow when the familiar tone of Vero echoed down to him. It was like a pick me up. Was his friend waiting for him? Well he'd better hurry then! "Almost there!" He hacked wildly. "Did you get your badge?!" He was yelling.. perhaps louder than necessary given the echo that was created. His hacking paid off! Two pieces of candy topped off his bucket and he KNEW he was finished. "SCRREEE!! Finished now!!" (( RP Attempt 1: 2 Total: 30 ))

No replies yet... But Minnie heard a sound while mining. "Huh? What is it now? Is it another piece of metal?" She picked it up, its 2 rock candies! She puts it in her bucket. "Awesome! Anyways... Who's making that echo earlier? Well, gotta get back to mining!"

"Its getting hot here..." Then she lets go of her long sleeves, and puts it on top of her bucket. "Still no luck getting a lot of rock candies though...." She kept mining.

Ulmuka came running out of the tunnel, breathing slightly heavy. He was slightly tired but fresh air was a wnderful thing and he gulped it down as he escaped the garbage mine. "Finally!" Vero seemed to be waiting for him and he patted the bug on the shoulder happily. "All set. Let me just hand these over!" He'd left his lantern and pick axe in the mine in his excitement. OH WELL. He had no need for them. Only the precious rock candy mattered. He wound his way towards the front of the 'gym' and found the old troll vagabond. "Here you go sir! 30 rock candies!" He thrust the bucket towards the ToTer with a massive grin. (( Turning in 30 rock candy for the badge! ))

"Excellent!" Vero replied. "Do come out. Master Inigo has yet to come find us, but it should not be long." It would be all the sweeter to get their badges at the same time, given how long they had worked together in those mines. "You are a little out of breath, though. Anything hazardous happened?"

"Hm..." Inigo squinted at Vero's candy collection questioningly from his relaxed position in an old, beat-up chair. He wasn't entirely sure there were enough in there, but Poke's on the other hand looked nearly full. "Well yours looks right. Just set it down next to me. Here," Inigo pointed to the ground and Puff Daddy coughed up a badge in the designated place, "have this."
Before he could begin to enjoy his candy, more were thrust at him. "Well looks like we've got another successful kiddo. Cough one up for him too." Obeying, the foxfire spat up a badge for Ulmuka before flopping down at Inigo's side.

Nyyrikki felt better rested now and lifted his lantern-decorated arm to determine how he'd go about his task today. Close by he could see some definite rock candy, but it looked to be pretty well stuck into the wall of the tunnel. He swung his pickaxe and out of sheer dumb luck, rather than skill, a small portion of the wall crumbled and the rock candy fell to the ground.

Curiously the reaper inspected the holed he created. He stuck the point of the pickaxe into it and dug a little, not really caring to be careful. His carelessness paid off, though, because he was able to wiggle out another three candies that fell into the palm of his hand.

Continuing to try his luck, Rikki dug further on. With a crashing, crumbling sort of noise, a portion of the wall slumped down to his feet, unable to hold up against his digging anymore. It sent a disgusting odor into the air, but when he shuffled through the mess, he snatched up two more candies.

With so much of the wall now at his feet, Nyyrikki decided to stick around a little. He shuffled here and there kicking up trash and trying to find more candy, but none seemed to be present. In a last ditch effort he dug with his tool, but no rock candy exposed itself.

It was obviously time to move on, but to where Rikki was unsure. He wandered aimlessly for a while, running his hands along the walls in hopes of feeling something, but there was nothing to be found. Frustrating, but obviously just a downfall of the trade.

A mine... well, this new, remade Floresctival didn't make a whole lot of sense, but it was definitely... er... varied. Yes. Wildly varied. It had already gotten fish thrown at it, had a clock explode in its face, and punched a table. Why not try mining? At least mining was a viable career choice. Nobody, to Malodore's knowledge, was a professional fish target.
The plague doctor padded into the mine, noting where others had dug away at the walls. It wondered if Riley knew about this place. Maybe this was where she'd gotten the energy to punch tables? A cave with hidden sugary treasures sounded like something she'd enjoy.
It peered at the wall, then prodded at what it felt was a likely spot. A single crystal of candy rewarded its efforts!
