 Melody laughed a bit at her fellow state's reaction. "Huh, I wonder how many photos I even have..." She said and clicked something. The screen went blank. Then a bunch of photos kept popping up. Overlapping over eachother. "I-I don't remember getting all of these pictures! I got some from Hungary! From almost everybody! Even if they didn't know I did but Hungary..."But she certainly didn't get this many pictures. There were about 37 pages of pictures and they were still popping up. The pictures weren't even dirty, but she didn't want them to take up all of her memory.
I wouldn't even go this far... She started to fret. If she deleted, it would take hours, maybe days. "Or just click auto-clear...but that would delete all of my data. No...Yes...NO. YES!" Every single picture, even the ones of her enjoying herself at her own water park. She wanted to burn it and destroy it all. She sighed. She slammed her laptop down and turned it off. "Going to throw it in a puddle outside..." That would get rid of all data including her laptop. (Something she didn't want to lose.)

 "I don't know what's goin' on but I'm sure you don't have to go that far," Tennessee said as he turned his attention back to Michigan. He wasn't sure what exactly had happened but it sounded serious. "Hey, Texas, weren't computer chips and stuff invented at your place? You're really good with technology," Andrew said as he gestured to the laptop. "Think you can do somethin' 'bout this?"

Melody looked at Texas and opened it up. "I think someone's trying to hack into my laptop..."She said and typed a few more things in. Then the screen just turned blue, and then black. "How..." She muttered. There were only 1 and 0's across the screen. Then a bunch of things were ejected from the computer. The screen was saying, 'Error, must restart. 10101010011. Error...' Then it all went blank. She didn't know how the computer chips managed to pop out. She tapped it some more, and it gave a whir, then died. "What the ********>" Anyone would of sworn if they had seen their laptop's die in such a manner. "Okay. It's unfixable...I better throw this thing away before it catches on fire or somethin' like that." She said. {{OOC: emotion_donotwant }}

He looked at Melody and said " I'm certain either your computer was hacked or technology repels you." He said the last one as a joke but was worried she might take it the wrong way. "If you want you can have my laptop."

Freshman / Ninth Grader Garden Club Member Lili heard Tennessee talk about his music and wanted to ask what he played. She loved music! In fact, she was pretty well known for one of the best music schools in all of Europe and the guitar festival she held every summer. However, she hadn't wanted to be rude, so she didn't interrupt.
She listened to the miscellaneous conversations, but never once interjected her opinion. Honestly, she didn't have too much of a place to talk to all of the people here.
However, the computer incident caught her attention. After it was all said and done, Lili walked over and began gently picking up the parts. She looked the computer over without touching it and quietly said in a thick German accent (but only because she didn't really expect anyone to listen to her), "I bet I could fix it..." She then looked to Melody and tilted her head before nodding to the laptop. "I might not look like it, but I am very good with technology. Would you mind if I saw your laptop. I can see if I can fix it. If not, then I'll take the stuff to my dorm and try to transfer all of the data from these chips so you can reinstall them in a new computer at a later date."
"I love to see you working hard,
...but please don't over do it.
I'm worried sick about you."

Freshman The southern state sighed since no one seemed to be interested in her tales. So she sat there watching the interesting scene of the laptop failing while taking notes. Surprisingly she was good at multi-tasking.  Little did she know that she had a fairy sitting on her shoulder hiding away from Leah. everyone is called 'darling',
"yall" is a proper noun,
sweet tea is the house wine,
and you never EVER disrespect your elders...

Freshman / Ninth Grader Garden Club Member Lili looked and just happened to catch sight of Miss Fairy. She smiled lightly to her. For anyone who saw or used magic and could see the fairy as well, they would see a small orb of white light surround the little creature. This light was Holy Magic, and the person who caused the little barrier around the creature was Liechtenstein. However, Lili was unaware of the fact that she had used magic and, in fact, didn't even notice the little ball of light that surrounded the fairy. Miss Fairy would be able to move at her own free will, but now she would be protected if someone, like a certain state, tried to hurt her since Lili saw the fairy and felt a desire to keep her safe since, for some reason, she had a feeling Leah wanted to hurt the poor being. The only hint that would have given away the fact that Lili was the one using the magic was the fact that less than a second before the orb formed around the fairy, a design in the shape of a cross seemed to faintly glow from beneath her shirt, right above her heart.

Massachusetts  Massachusetts rolled her eyes, "yes but in Massachusetts the Word Wicked means cool and aswesome or to show somthing like...im very happy, Wicked is used insted of Very, im Wicked happy. She laughed a bit, she wondered if her sister new that the most haunted house in America was in Massachusetts. "well your going to have to ask Conneticut about paranormal...his state is the most hauted in America" she said. She sighed, she over heard Texas and NC talking about the dance. She still had no one to go with, it did not really matter becuase she was not going to go. SHe would most likely hand out at the bar. "ouais je vais traîner au bar" she spoke in french. She did somtimes when she wanted to talk with her self. (this is the most failish most ever...*crise in cornor*))

Melody was going to take up the Texan's offer, until Lili offered. She wondered a bit. "Sure. You can try. Sorry about earlier, I wasn't paying attention." She apologized to Lichtenstein. She looked over at NC's shoulder. She could see the fairy. She sent a small wave. "Pourquoi la barre? Etes-vous même ... l'âge apparence assez vieux?" She asked to Massachusetts in French. She was curious. ((OOC-It's not fail D:. Translation- Pourquoi la barre? Etes-vous même ... l'âge apparence assez vieux-Why the bar? Are you even...appearence age old enough

Cherelle listened to a couple of the states talk about going to the dance. She recalled hearing something about it, but she couldn't really remember. Without realizing it, she began thinking out loud. "I'd like to go, but... I'd probably be going alone." she said quietly to herself. "I'm pretty new, and no one knows me, so I probably wobn't be asked... Darn." She laughed.
She heard a bit of French, also. Something about going to a bar? "Si vous allez dans un bar, vous avez à me prendre avec vous!" She said with a wink. "Qui doit savoir que nous sommes trop jeunes! Avez-vous déjà entendu parler de I.D.s faux?"
((Translation "Si vous allez dans un bar, vous avez à me prendre avec vous!" = If you're going to a bar, you have to take me with you!
"Qui doit savoir que nous sommes trop jeunes! Avez-vous déjà entendu parler de I.D.s faux?" = Who needs to know that we're too young! Have you ever heard of fake I.D.s?))

"Well, I guess that settles that," Tennessee said with a grateful nod to Lichtenstein for assisting Michigan. "It's nice of you to help us out, miss. I guess we should thank you for bein' nice to America and makin' that soup, too." Andrew's ears caught a bit of what Seychelles had said and looked at her curiously. "What is it you wanted to go to?" he asked. Tennessee had only arrived an hour or so ago and had no idea what events there might be in the works. When the girls started speaking French his eyes blanked into utter confusion but he tried to maintain a polite poker face. Normally he'd probably insist Michigan translate or force one of the other former members of the Canadas or Louisiana Province to explain it for him, but he didn't want to be rude in front of their new friends. That and it was a little embarrassing to be one of the only states who wasn't fluent in a second language. He'd been trying to pick up a little Spanish as his Mexican population grew, but he wasn't doing a very good job at it.

Cherelle hadn't realized she had said that out loud. Her face turned red as she realized this. "I hadn't realized I said that out loud, I was just thinking it to myself and I guess..." the words tumbled out incoherantly, making her seem more like an idiot than she actually was. "I mean, I was just talking about the, uh, the dance. Um, the homecoming dance."

"There's a dance, huh?" Andrew smiled and wondered maybe if they'd need someone to help with the music. Probably not, but he'd be willing to offer his services. He loved any excuse to play his guitar. "How come you wouldn't be able to go? You seem like the sorta girl who wouldn't have any trouble gettin' a date." He hesitated and blushed a bit when he realized that might be rude and rubbed the back of his head anxiously. "I mean, you're pretty and seem nice... and French. Everybody likes datin' French people from what I'm told." He blushed again and looked up at her guiltily. "Sorry, that prob'ly was kinda rude, too... I'm not used to talkin' with people outside of the states..." he said knowing his international relations skills were a bit limited and he knew little about foreign cultures.
