"Weel, it looks like they left, whoever they were." Marosa gave a halfhearted shrug and sat down beside the other faerie, giving her a slight smile. "A'hm Marosa. Ye are?" His wings folded behind him as he sat, so he wouldn't have to worry about bumping them into anything. Marosa scanned the crowd curiously, but warily, keeping just enough distance from everyone so they wouldn't accidentally - or purposefully, Jack forbid - end up touching him, one way or another. He opened his hand and stared at the protection charm. "Ay wonder what these wyll be used fer..."

"I'm Astra, and I'm so glad to meet another fairy here!" She said enthusiastically. "It feels good to see to meet you after seeing so many other weird and wonderfully creatures here!" Although she was pretty sure he was a different fairy to her, a demon one by the looks of it as she could see no hint of a weapon. It was also a slight annoyance to see he was still taller then she was. Was she the only fairy here that was short?! To his question she shook her head, looking at the charm in his hand and wondering the same thing. "I guess they could be used in some sort of spell?"

At the appearance of the nergal hazcat, Petro's first instinct was to try to angle Riyo away from the minipet. Except the other ghoul suddenly began thrashing in his arms and well, even Tro could figure out she didn't want to stay in his arms. He would have asked her if she was alright and if she needed someone to escort her over to the Infirmary (she'd lost a lot of blood after all!) but with the rather violent hissing she made at Deacon and her further wordless exit, Tro had his first person to add to his "Help Not Wanted" list.
Huh. Seeing as most of his other friends had either wandered off (probably at the sight of the Protection Charms), Tro found he had no reason to linger in the area. Perhaps there were things of interest over at the newly set-up booths?

"Weel, I'm not here officially... still tryin' ta enroll in th'school, lassie." He winked at her, giving her a small smile. He was starting to relax with the whole not touching thing. "What kind o'fey be ye?" He asked her, inclining his head to look her over. She was so short! But still very pretty, for fey standards. "Aye. We might have t'wait for Desu-chan ta give us instructions." He reached up and tried to tame his curly hair, pushing it back behind his ears.

"I'm actually a reaper fae" Astra replied to him, and with a flick of her wrist her Oak staff appeared in her hand so she could show it. She did look around nervously encase a staff member was going to be mad at her for summoning it, but she did not remember any rules against it so... "What kind of fairy are you?" She then looked around the area, but this time she was looking for Desu-chan. "I haven't seen her since she left the protection charms..."

"Gancanagh," He replied softly, just loud enough so only she could hear. "Sometimes ah'm no' all that proud o' it." He glanced at her weapon and gave a low whistle. "Verrah nice." He glanced around as well, raising an eyebrow. "Indeed, she is no' here.... wonder where she went off to..."

Everything about this world, this place, always seemed new and odd to him. From the creatures that ran around, to the simplest of items like books and plates. He never really understood anything about anything, even after his master did his best to teach him and try to slowly progress him in to Halloween society. Kearin did feel a little bad about being slow with his learning, but what could he do? He was like a child whom just opened his eyes to the world; still learning, still progressing. Though, he did wonder how he came to be in this world and why he was brought here in the first place. He didn’t really feel like he was a prime candidate for anything.
Sighing, the Raven Ghost folded his torn wings to his back, and carefully ran a hand along the edge of a flipped table. If he remembered correctly, tables were meant for eating and working upon, and also meant to be a place to be seated for gatherings. He had never heard anything about the object being used for flipping and making zones like the one he was currently in. What kind of person would do such a thing and use an object outside its intended purpose?
He could only hope they were nice and approachable, and that no one was lurking around with the intent to do harm to someone like himself...
The poor boy would be far too easy a target, especially since he rarely ever fought back. Fight or Flight? We would rather choose flight…

This had been rather fun Kai thought as she continued to walk her way around the festival her scarf dragging along the ground behind her making a little trail in the dirt. She bit her lip as she noticed something rather amusing, tables that were strewn all over the ground some were on their side others looked as if they had been tossed from one side to another.
"OOooooooo Kai can flip tables! OK Kai flips tables then!" She ran over to one putting all of her strength into trying to toss it.
It flipped a few times and then finally stopped not far from a white and black feathered looking boil. Giving a satisfied grin Kai put her hands on her hips as she skipped her way over to boil looking at the damage she had done to the table and ground.
"HELLO! Kai flipped a table! Aren't you going to flip a table?" She peered at him her toothy grin showing.

Oh what in Jack’s glorious name had Kearin gotten himself in to? One minute he was alone, then he heard the sound of another voice and now he was watching a table flip through the air like it was nothing. This defiantly was something he would have to question his Master later on. This was something that was not in any of his lessons. Tensing and slowly turning his blue and yellow gaze towards the ghoul, Kearin gave a simple shy wave towards her before giving a shrug. Flipping tables wasn’t something that he did, but the other’s grin and peering gaze seemed to just scream at him to follow along, which he wasn’t going to question. If flipping tables was something people around here did, then he was just follow along.
With awkwardness about him, Kearin ever so slowly grabbed on to the table he was just resting by a moment ago and just started at it for a moment. All he had to do was copy the ghoul, right? Right. But what if he messed up and ended up embarrassing himself?
No matter, he always seemed to be embarrassing himself in some manner.
“I-I jus’ flip table, yes?” he asked as he turned to stare back at the other student.
“Yes. Jus’ flip. …Flip.”
With a nervous sigh, Kearin quickly closed his eyes and did his best to copy the other student's actions.
When he felt the end of the table leave his hand, he opened an eye and watched as the table went sailing across the ground. He never knew he had such a strength about him, but then again he never liked to test himself physically.
Blinking in surprise, he turned back towards the ghoul and pointed towards his flipped table.
"I...I do good, correct? No good like you, but good?"

Desu-chan's location out of his mind for now, Marosa stood and walked over to peer curiously at the ghosty raven, a bit curious about him. "Not a bad flip, if'n I see so meself." He smiled as he spoke with his strange accent, moving to point at a table Desu-chan had flipped over earlier, pointing to the treasure chest of the protection charms. "Desu-chan had pointed these oot earlier, ye might want ta grab one fer yerself."

"Yes yes just flip! Flip like Kai flipped!" She clasped her hands together rocking back and forth on her feet ignoring the fact that she was stepping all over her scarf. This was exciting! It was fun flipping tables like stealing a shiny rocks from the crane game, though given the fact that it was free it wasn't really stealing.
"YAY YOU THROW ALMOST AS FAR AS KAI DID THATS BETTER THAN GOOD!" She flung her arms around giving him a squeeze before letting go and skipping over to the table. She was amazed that none of the tables seemed to break when they bounded along the ground. If they weren't so big to drag around she would have probably taken one home but there was still a lot to see at the festival so the table would have to wait until later.
Kai put her hands on the edge of the table and shook it a bit and then let it go before skipping back over to the boil. Placing on hand on her hip she took her other hand and spit in it and held it out in front of her for a handshake, "Hi! Kai's name is Kai! What's yours?"

This place was going to give Kearin a heart attack by the end of the day. He just knew it. Being someone whom was slightly skittish in nature, the boil didn't take well to all the people just randomly popping out of of no where, but such was the way of interacting with others.
With a hand clasping his the front of his jacket closed, the ghostly raven turned and blinked at the appearance of the new stranger. He didn't quite know what to make of him or his general appearance, or even his accent at that, but he seemed nice enough for now. He was defiantly more mellow what the ghoul anyway.
Just as Kearin was about to kindly thank the other boil, he was once again startled by Kai.
"It! I! Oh my..." he quickly tried to group himself back together after the random hug, and gave a slight bow toward the boil while carefully watching the other student. "T-thank you. I..I no understan' table flip, but ghoul seem happy 'bout it. It..It very strange for me. Table for eating, yes? Why flip?"
It was all very strange, but he didn't have time to really think it through. Just as one question was running around his mind another one had to pop up at the sight of Kai spitting in her hand and holding it out. Was this another part of culture he had yet to review, or was the world just messing with him?
"Um... Why you..no.." the ghost was highly unsure of what to do. He didn't want to seem rude, but he didn't really want to follow through.
With a frown hidden behind his mask, Kearin reluctantly copied the ghoul, and hesitantly clasps his hand against hers. Just the feeling of it sent shivers down his spine.
"Me, Kearin. It..it nice meet you, Kai."

"Ah'm sorry, ah didn'ae meen t'scare ye." Marosa gave a slight bow of apology, wondering with a bit of chagrin if the other had either a speech impediment, or was a bit slow in the head. He shook his head to clear that thought, a little disappointed in himself because that's something that his father would have said outright. He wanted to be as little like his father as possible. "Ah'm Marosa." He glanced at the other spitting into her hand, eyes widening in alarm. Hopefully she wouldn't do the same to him -- not only was it absolutely disgusting, but it was touching as well, something he abhorred. "Ach, nice te meet ye, Kearin," Marosa stated, hearing the other's name.

Kai shook the boil’s hand rather excitedly before letting go and putting her hands behind her hips rocking back and forth on her feet again. She was really not at all use to the whole idea of having feet stuck to the ground so the rocking movement was rather amusing though if she could float she would.
“It’s fun to meet you Kearin! What do you want to do here at the festival? Fight or flip more tables? And you,” Kai stared at the other boil who had brought Kearin a gift from a treasure chest putting her hands on her hips and leaning towards him. “Kai is Kai! And Kai is also pleased to meet you Marosa, you wouldn’t like to shake Kai’s hand now would you?” She had watched his eyes widen in alarm at what she had done. She had learned the hard way from others that it wasn’t common to spit in one’s hand and handshake yet it was tradition for her own kind to do so. Though this was a festival and being on her best behavior was required so Kai merely let it go.
“Oh! Before Kai forgets, Kearin you can eat on tables or you can flip them! Kai has learned that sometimes things are..… not what they seem Kearin can understand this right?” She folded her arms across her chest giving a nod of her head giving as if she knew what she was talking about.

Marosa shook his head in a silent no, a smile spreading to his lips. "It is nice to meet ye, Kai. Ach, no thank ye, I'm naught a big fan o'touching." He did, however, make a bow to the other - not quite formal, but not quite informal, either. "Ye might want t'grab one o'those as well," Marosa stated, pointing towards the treasure chest just in case she didn't catch him pointing it out to the other boil. She was rather entertaining, but simple. He found himself unable to help but like her. At least, a little bit.
