The candy girl gasped when she was suddenly surrounded by three Pokemon. Oh no! Her Pokemon quickly sensed the ill intentions, and fortunately for them.. their master was actually a trainer. "Flaaffy use thunderwave! Jumpluff, Sleep Powder!" She called nervously, while the two Pokemon released their attacks on their attackers.

And no, no he didn't intend to hurt or kill Rosie. Infact, he was disgusted by this. Holding a girl hostage this way was not something he took pleasure in, nor normally resorted to. He had more dignity than that. But orders were orders and this had to be done. He couldn't come away empty handed, and he wouldn't. Rosie would hear a heaved sigh next to her ear, just before Asch scowled at Guy.

The blade was withdrawn, but at the same time, he made a quick grab for one of Rosie's pokeballs and pushed the return button. "You can have her," he told Guy while giving Rosie a hard shove in his direction. By this time, Tyke's appearance returned to normal, a Pokeball in his maw as he bounded up to Asch, who took it from him. Saber's appearance also returned to normal as Guy took a shot at him, deflecting the blow with his claws and a menacing snarl.

{Lola} {Dith}

Conrad growled when he got skimmed by the leaves then used take down on the Roserade. Grass pokemon always made him a bit more aggressive then others simply because he knew they were a problem for his partner.

Xander cursed when he was grabbed but managed to keep his hold on Lola as well. He glanced over at the tall Russian and glared even as a shiver went up his spine. "So sorry but you'll just have to wait your turn and pay attention to your own pokemon." He then aimed a kick at the back of Dith's nearest knee while trying to grab for Lola's pokeball for the annoying Roserade.

[Candy Girl NPC]

Callista came up behind her pokemon just as the candy girl ordered her pokemon to attack. Eden, dusted lightly with the sleep powder, fell asleep on the spot, whereas Misa phased out and behind the little trainer in an attempt to avoid the attack, and the thunder wave caught Tasanee - however the Liepard simply shook herself and made a pleased-sounding purr, her Limber ability keeping the thunder wave from affecting her.

"Tasanee, - the jumpluff; use torment! Misa, the Flaaffy - psybeam!"

Both Pokemon hurried to comply, the ghost-type releasing her Psybeamand the dark type using Torment to try and stop the Jumpluff from putting any more of her team to sleep immediately.

While this was happening, Callista made a dive for the trainer, hoping that she could snag a pokeball in the struggle - this would be so much easier if she had a dark ball!

[Rosie, Guy, Asch]

The thunderbolt connected with deadly accuracy, blasting the Esepon across the stage and knocking him out before he even had a chance to cry out. Saying yet another very rude word as Xander kicked at him, Dith shoved the young blond away viciously and sprinted across the stage to his fallen pokemon, fetching out a revive as he approached and spraying the medicine onto his friend as he reached him. Now what was he going to do?

Rosie! At least the red-head had let her go, maybe the best thing to do was keep an eye on the kids. Topping Viktor's health up with a super potion, the huge man hurried over to the pair; all hope of stopping the attackers had disappeared by now, his thoughts were more running along the lines of 'get self, pokemon, and small people out of here alive'...

Jack was working with these people.

"Either of you hurt?" he asked quickly as he arrived beside the two young people, quickly running his eyes over them - he hoped Guy didn't drop Rosie - before turning his attention onto the black-clad kid with the knife and the unfamiliar pokemon. It made his blood boil to hope the motherless dog would just run away, but that really seemed like the best case scenario right now. s**t. How had this day gone so wrong so fast?

[Glados]

"Kuso!" Hearing something behind him, Nakura turned to see the second pokemon of Izumi's following after the thief of her first. He didn't have Celty with him, so all he could do was run and dodge. He hoped the fact that the pokemon didn't have a trainer to command it would cause it to have something of a handicap, but his hopes weren't too high. At least he was pretty used to making escapes from tight situations and evading danger. With just a little luck, he would make it out of this alive.

Increasing his speed came at a price. On the almost vertical path down to the forest floor, Izaya was scraped and cut with branches and twigs, allowing gravity to take him most of the way when he could find a close-enough step. He was vaguely aware of more scratches and grazing as he neared the bottom where the plant growth was thicker. There were bound to be bruises later on. With a final leap, he pushed off a massive tree truck and rolled to a stop on the ground.

"Celty!" he yelled. "Hypnosis! NOW!"

[Izaya]

Izaya was a lucky thief; Celty's hypnosis attack reached the hundred-some pound metal pokemon just as it was starting a take down attack on the human, causing the hunk of metal to come crashing to a halt near Izaya's feet, leaving a deep gash in the ground where it had skid.

The moment that Rosie fell into him, Guy felt himself violently cringe and he had to consciously force himself not to immediately shove her away from him. Instead, with arms and legs shaking, Guy weakly reached his hand out to place a comforting hand on her shoulder. Before he could make contact, though, he flinched and pulled his hand away. His eyes were slightly dulled as he tried to regain his breathing. "I... I'm fine. R-Rosie... Are... Are you... Are you all right?"

A voice behind him brought Guy back to reality, and he spun around to see the figure of the man Dith coming towards them both. He sighed heavily, relieved to see that it was him and not another one of those Team Rocket scum. "I... I think we're both fine. I just have a few scratches, is all. Are you..."

Guy trailed off, becoming very quiet. There was one thing missing. A certain blue thing. His eyes darted around, looking for the familiar blue Vaporeon, but it was nowhere to be found. Suddenly, two and two clicked together in his mind, and his eyes narrowed as he turned towards Asch. There was no way he would let him escape with one of Rosie's Pokemon! No way in hell!

In a flash, his hand went to the hilt at his side and he pulled out his sword as he ran towards the man who looked just like his friend. He felt a single moment of hesitation as he raised his sword to strike, as if he was about to strike at Luke himself. That moment quickly passed, though, as he reminded himself that Luke would never hurt Rosie or steal one of her Pokemon. That was not Luke!

Suddenly, Asch fell to one knee, seemingly in pain. Guy quickly realized that he had been struck by a Thunderbolt. His next thought was on his strike, and how if he followed through with it as it was, he would likely take off the man's head. Shocked, Guy skidded to a halt and stopped right before Asch, sword hanging downward in his hand. His eyes were cold as he regarded the man. "You're a b*****d, but I would never strike a man when he is down. I'm not like that. So..." Guy took a deep breath, then as quick as he could, he sheathed his shoulder and lunged for the Pokeball that Asch had grabbed. If nothing else, he would get back that Pokemon!

Get off of her? "Not likely," Callista said, stepping back away from the kick just enough to hopefully knock the trainer off balance. She needed to get this over with, and quickly. She was not leaving here empty handed, if she had any say in the matter!

Misa shuddered from the force of the Thunderbolt, but retaliated with a Shadow ball, firing off the condensed shadow at the flaaffy.

Tasanee hissed as the Mega Drain pulled at her energy - she was glad her trainer had no grass types! The Liepard countered the Mega Drain with a Pursuit.

Meanwhile, Eden snored - she wasn't waking up just yet.
