✎Trust me when I say....✐ 𝕶𝖔𝖉𝖎 𝕸𝖆𝖗𝖙𝖎𝖓Kodi looked at him from the corner of her eyes, smirking, "Really?" she asked, her voice showed that she obviously didn't think he'd be up to it. She couldn't wipe the small little smile on her face no matter how hard she tried and she sat down on the floor across the room from him, sitting criss cross and wrapping her fingers around her ankles comfortably, "Alright then, um..." she took a moment to think, bitting her lip as she looked around her room to help her think of a question to ask him. Well, considering that they were never really going to get another chance like this, maybe she should try and either get to know him a bit, which she didn't really like the thought of that, but it was an option none the less, or she could as about why he was always in such a foul mood and why he fought with her. She always fought with him because he was one of the few people here who wasn't weaker than her and could actually cause some damage to her if things got out of hand, and because he wasn't scared of her like some others were. Sure they weren't scared of her like they were of Shadow, but she scared them mentally. She would always drive other's up a wall or just annoy the crap out of them, but Shadow for some reason could take it a lot longer than others. Heck, most others could hardly stand to stay in the same room with her for more than 10 minutes, but here Shadow was, trying to tough out this competition with her.... That reminded her that she'd trailed off into silence and into lala land while he was just standing there, "Oh, um, well, let's see. First off, I guess, uh, why do you put up with me to a certain degree? I mean, so far, you've never actually done anything to hurt me-- well physically at least-- and when you get pissed off at me when I'm annoying you you don't do anything but start yelling until both of us are in each other's faces and one of us walks off. With someone else you'd just start throwing punches and stuff, right? So why not with me...?" she finally said, tilting her head to the side as she looked up at him. She was surprised that that was her first question that came out of her mouth, but she was really curious about it.κϕȡɩ ɱɑятɪɴ ✐...My bite is worse than my bark....✎

✎Trust me when I say....✐ 𝕶𝖔𝖉𝖎 𝕸𝖆𝖗𝖙𝖎𝖓Kodi was a bit startled when Shadow just passed by without making a scene, but shrugged it off and walked to her bed, grabbing her MP3 player and plugging the earphones in her ears, walking out the door and locking it behind herself, tucking the key away. She looked around and was shocked at what she saw, "You weren't kiddin' about it being weird out here. You can just feel the tension in the air, obviously no one else really likes their partners very much, so now you can't complain." she stuck her tongue out at him teasingly, then turned towards the direction of the cafeteria, looking through her music as she walked.κϕȡɩ ɱɑятɪɴ ✐...My bite is worse than my bark....✎

✎Trust me when I say....✐ 𝕶𝖔𝖉𝖎 𝕸𝖆𝖗𝖙𝖎𝖓Stopping and turning around, Kodi began to walk backwards and looked at Shadow, "You know, I've always wondered, what does that word even mean? Like, the official dictionary thingamajig or whatever you wanna' call it. I mean, everyone knows the jist of the meaning, but I don't think anyone really knows the dictionary one very well." she said randomly. Yes, her brain was now going into shock from being alone with Shadow this long, and especially after what she'd heard before... The thought of it gave her a slightly pink tint to her cheeks and she had to look away, but she didn't want to think about that, she had to think of something else quick, something that would make her mad at the world so that that thought wouldn't intrude for a while. Hmmm, something to piss her off, something to piss her off... "Say something stupid." she blurted, knowing that something like that would be a for sure way to clear her mind of those thoughts.κϕȡɩ ɱɑятɪɴ ✐...My bite is worse than my bark....✎
