 Master Cael Taryn DeFortella Chuckling, Cael stretched and then fell back into the grass, peering at Faye through one half open eye as he grinned up at her. "I think you're safe to assume that I like it here... And that's because most people don't think of who they're with, they just want to know where they can have fun... She grinned back, happy that he did like it, and kept quiet as he spoke. It was true really, most of the people she met with wanted to go somewhere they thought of as fun and she didn't mind taking them there. Faye always wanted to help others as best she could, but it was nice to go somewhere she loved. "I'm glad, I can think of a few that wouldn't like this just because there's no technology." She said with a laugh, it made no sense to her, why some would rather stay inside and play on such things on a day like this. The sun was shining, there were almost no clouds in the sky and it was surprisingly warm for a winter day. She tilted her head to the side and watched him, a smile on her face. She was right, so many people were obsessed with technology, and never took the time to slow down and take a look around them at what was amazing, and right in front of them... Faye nodded in agreement. "It's nice to have, but too many people let it control them."She shrugged then relaxed once more, letting her eyes drift shut for the moment, the sun warming her skin. It was so peaceful here...so beautiful, and having Cael here only made it that much more enjoyable. She felt different around him, in a good way though. His father wouldn't approve of him spending time with her, she obviously was neither demon, nor human.... Pushing the thought aside, he smirked and spoke. "Ah well, that's the flaw of furthering ourselves... Cael's words floated through the air and into her ears. "Very true." She chuckled lightly and gave a slight nod. "But without such things there would be no challenge...still, its nice to be tied down sometimes. Not by technology or things like that but..." She shrugged slightly, eyes still closed. Of course, if it was something like what she was thinking one wouldn't really feel tied down. Her eyes opened slightly, following a couple clouds as they floated across the clear blue sky. ¤ღ♦Mistress Maelan♦ღ¤  Everyone has their limits... They walked on in silence for a little while, Ace seemingly lost in thought. When he spoke she laughed lightly. "I could ask you those same questions Ace. You are the first to ever make me feel this way and I do not think there will ever be another. My feelings will not change just because of a habit, unless it's truly horrible which I doubt you have any that are so bad I would turn away from you. I know my heart and the thing I feel will not fade Ace. It sounds almost as though you want to get rid of me..." Her tone as she spoke those last words was light, almost joking. Though if told her that he truly wished such a thing she would leave then and there and try to find a way to box up her emotions.
She smiled softly and nodded. "I understand that, I would prefer it even. I don't wish to force you into something that you are against Ace." This was all new to her so of course she wanted to take it slow. Maelan didn't mind waiting either. "Ask whatever you want about me and I will answer honestly." ....are you sure you want to test mine? ☽☼「:OoC Sorry for the delay, been really busy lately.:」☼☾

Her head tilted so that she was staring at him when she heard Cael chuckle. She could see that he was trying not to laugh but didn't understand why...well, not until he spoke that is. Faye's eyes went wide and she bolted into a sitting position, shaking her head vehemently. "I didn't mean it like that!" A bright red blush covered her cheeks. "I meant like...  Ace Nightwalker  Why am I so cold... Ace felt so nervous and afraid of letting Maelan into his heart, "I am not all that I seem either... I have a darkness inside of me. Once that crawls along my mind scratching at the surface. What if I hurt you?" he asked sounding concerned for Maelan.
He forced a smile seeing her conviction, "Hmm... Where to start. If you want to get to know me and I want to get to know you. We should probably ask questions. Shall we take turns asking each other?" he suggested.

Ace, I have seen all manners of darkness...If something happens I will be able to protect myself and I will try to help you as well. I am by no means weak." After speaking these words she wondered, had she told him what her mother was? She couldn't remember doing so. What would he think if he found out though?

Ace Nightwalker Why am I so cold... Ace let out a sigh, "Do you know of any suppression magic? If I am not careful my former self can scratch it's way to the surface. I never again want to become Lunacy again" he said simply.
Taking a moment to let his words sink in he promtly smiled trying to move past what he had said and asked, "Hmm... Well I would like to know a few things like your age? Favorite food? Do you have a favorite animal? Book?" he began to ask then after realizing he was dragging on he closed his mouth giving Maelan a chance to speak. ...with my heart so warm? ¤*(OoC)*¤

"I do know some, it became a hobby of mine in recent years to study all types of magic." She wished to know more about his former self, or, more precisely, how to help should such a thing as he spoke of ever occur.
She chuckled at his first question, waiting until he was finished to speak. "I am one hundred and seven years old. My favorite food is probably sushi. I don't have a favorite animal, but I do favor the ones from Chinese mythology and I absolutely adore fairytales, so any book that possess a collection of them is one I would fall in love with." She let that information process in his mind, but was most curious about what his reaction to her age would be. ....are you sure you want to test mine? ☽☼「:OoC:」☼☾
