"They want us to go to war with the endowed at other schools, just because they didnt go here..." Derek began shaking. "That sick freak and his father. "They think that an endowed war will give them power." He put his head in his hands, lightning bolts striking outside. Frederic and his friends laughed in the corner. "In truth..." Derek started again. "Theyre continuing a war that has been raging for ages. Each Headmaster all their own enemies... The endowed are just pawns. Pawns on a Chessboard." He said angrily, a fist slamming down on the table. "We shouldnt have to live like that..."

Linx looked at Derek, frightened. So he was the one making the weather that way? He quivered in his seat each time the thunder boomed overhead. Rain was pouring outside, pounding on the roof and windows.

Aya grabbed his hand suddenly, her hair bristlign but she didn't let go, "Look at me." She commanded in her quiet voice, "Derek, you must calm yourself, you cannot let your anger get the best of you." She told him even though her own anger boiled in her, it made her sick what he had told her but she would not let it surface, not yet.

Dorian was watchign the rain, "I hate the rain." He commented moodily. His sharp ears had picked up what Derek had said and he too was angry, the rain only made it worse. His mind shifted over to the girl near him. Her again....he mused.

The static from Derik's hair brushed from him to Aya for a moment. Derek's quivering stopped, and he looked to Aya sadly. "My job is to keep the storm up..." he murmered. A flash of ligtning showed that Derek was tired. Bags hung under his eyes, and his eyelids drooped.

Frederic and his crew were howling with laughter by now. "So dramatic!" one of them said.
"Theyre acting like babies." Frederic murmered, but the second after he said that, his friends and his faces went from laughter to fright, as Derek glared at them. A lightning bolt had gone through the roof, and landed right in front of the group.
"Y-Youre gonna pay for that!" Frederic stammered as he and his friends ran out of the room, most likely to Dr. Bloor's office.
Derek sighed and returned to his homework, ignoring the 'drip' 'drip' of the rain falling through the hole he had made in the ceiling.

Aya sighed and looked at the damage, "You really need to keep a hold on your temper, Derek." She lifted the tables and chairs that Fredrick's gang had been occupying and placed them in the hole, stopping the leak, "That'll have to do..." She muttered. She still had a hold on Derek's hand and her hair was still a bit puffed, "I might be able to help."

Dorian for his part had raised a brow at the hole in the cieling. He was not ashamed that he had jumped, lightenign was a scary force of nature, one of those kids could have been dead. He grinned savagely at the thought.

"How?" Derek asked outloud, looking at her. "I'm the only one with powers of my type..." He murmered. "Theres a kid at another school who can make it snow as much as he wanted to.... that'll be hard on us.... But ony I can summon the clouds and keep them here and growing."

Another Endowed girl spoke up. "Is he using the storm cover to make us harder to find, or to make us look more menacing?" She asked. "Either way, its a stupid idea."

Derek shrugged. "I dont know what he has planned. I was just ordered to summon the biggest storm I could and keep it here."

Derek would suddenly feel the sensation as a rush of energy suddenly swooped into him, revitalizing him, like a wash of warm water on his skin.

Aya for her part swayed, her eyes were glassy and she suddenly collapsed forward onto Derek.

Dorian started, starting over, "What the...?"

((hope that's not against the rules...lending energy? Now that I might have broken the rules....I have to go! xd ))

Derek caught hold of her, paniking slightly. "Aya! Aya, are you ok?" He asked, worried. He lowered her to the ground so she could lay down.

Linx had disappeared, the humming noise long gone. he was back in the dorm room, hidden under the covers of his bed from the flashes of lightning and the sound of thunder.

((I'll let it slide this time. But ONLY this time wink ))

Aya blinked up blearily at him, "Didn't know I could do that...." She mumbled, "I don't think I'll do it again....I couldn't stop..." She sighed and relaxed, her breathing deep and regular. The breathing of one sleeping.

Dorian kneeled down next to them, "That was odd." He understated, "What happened?" He asked.

"I.. I dont know." Derek mumbled. He picked Aya up and held her close to him. "Does anyone know where her room is?" He asked.

The sound of the rain lightened, and Derek had to close his eyes for a moment as they headed for Aya's room. Derek put Aya in her bed and tucked her in, giving her a gentle kiss on the forhead. He then strode out of the room and started heading for the outside. "I need to strengthen the storm..." He wearily murmered. The energy Aya gave him helped, but it was nearly gone as he kept the storm in place.

Dorian sat near him, watchign the rain. He was helpless in this regard, not able to help at all. He frowned, he hated being idle. His thoughts wandered to what had happened to Aya. He had felt an odd surge of energy before she collapsed he wondered what that was. He shrugged, shovign the thoughts away, deeming them useless, "Try eating." He suggested finally.

(( He's heading outside, not sitting blaugh ))

Derek reached the garden doors after putting his cape in the cloakroom. He strode out into the storm, his hair cracling wildly. Large bursts of wind spun around him as the storm began to grow again.

After a while, Derek returned inside. Grabbing his cape, he went back to Aya's room and sat at the foot of her bed, leaning his head on the wall. He would be there when she woke up...

((*sigh* Never mind))

Dorian watched the rain with growing disgust, he didn't follow Derek outside, loathe to do so.

Aya was still deep in slumber, her chest rising and falling regularly, steadily.

Derek watched Aya sleep, and soon, he was asleep as well. His head slid on the wall, and soon his entire body slid over, his head winding up on Aya's sleeping stomach.

((K))

Dorian found himself yawning as well. He made his way to his dorms, stripped off his shoes and shirt and slipped into bed, looking at the wall, listening to the rain. I don't like rain, but it always sounds nice....were his last thoughts before sleep washed over him.

Derek woke up after a while and blushed, pushing himself back into a seating position. He yawned and stared out the window at the stormy field below. Sleet had made its way into the winds while he was asleep, and he frowned.
"Looks like someone else is joining us." He murmered, knowing that it wasnt him who caused the snow-like substence to fall.

A girl who was sitting on the bed across the way, giggled, thinking that she was the one he was talking about. "You arent supposed to be here." She said. "Matron's busy tonight, or else she would have kicked you out. Its already after lights out time."

Derek looked at here. "What time is it?" He asked.

"Ten'o'clock PM." She said. "You should go back to your dorm."

Derek sighed and looked down at Aya." Let me know when she wakes up." He said, then hopped down from the bed.

Linx poked his head out and looked at Dorian's sleeping figure. He then looked at Derek's empty bed, and Trey's sleeping figure. Curling up into a ball, he fell asleep under the covers, still frightened of the storm.
