Adrastos faced Akin rather than drawing back as he would have if it were a couple weeks ago. He faced the Silver King almost intimidated. The last time this happened it was when he was a cub traveling with Briseis. He glanced at the King, "The reason I am here is because I am with Shairi and I won't leave unless she goes with me." he replied. He could no longer see Shairi's face for he was one, occupied looking at the fuming King and two she was behind him or some where else.

Shairi was frightened. She knew that her father would have been mad... but she didn't expect this. "Daddy... please..." She said softly from behind him, stepping foreward boldy so that she could see Adrastos.

"Kichea, take Shairi to the caves. I want the Pride collected and brought in, no one is to enter them."

"If you are saying you will fight me I will not, I would not lay a paw on anyone who Shairi cares for so much. However if you plan to still draw my blood it tis fine for death will be more peaceful than rather living without her." he replied as he never so much as flinched at the King's jaw snapping so close to his face. He had taken a beating worse beating by his own father, no one else could damage him more than he had.

"Daddy!" Shairi protested in outrage.
Kichea winced. This could not end well, she could sense it in the wind. "Shairi, Come." She roared aloud, alarming the pride of the chaos and the King's orders to get back to the caves. She looked over her shoulder at her daughter. She wasn't moving. "Shairi, I said Follow me."
"No!" Shairi stood her ground knowing that the only one who could make her move would be her father. And he was busy. "I wont follow your orders anymore! You told me that I was free to refuse the position of heir. I said I would think." She stared at the ground, afraid to see what her father's face would show. "I refuse the position of heir to Silver Dawn." She said in an almost whisper.

Ears swiveled backwards but the King didn't change his position. "You may refuse it but you are still my daughter. You will do as I say." Silver eyes narrowed.
"You," He addressed Adrastos, noting the teens now adult form. "I give you one last chance to leave my lands peacefully before I remove you by force."

Adrastos glared and then relaxed, he sat down on to his haunches. He closed his eyes and relaxed as shifted all of his weight on to his feet and then he looked at the King peacefully. "As I said, I will not touch you." He sat there relaxed as he had done with his father and took the beating.

The ligeress stepped into her old home realizing something had changed. As she came in the back way, she noticed Kichea moving the others into the den. As she went toward her queen, she saw Akintunde...and another male. Gasping softly, she came by. "Brother! Brother, what is the meaning?" She stood taut, her muscles ready. She didn't immediately rush at the stranger not knowing the full story, but if it was something bad, she was there to defend her pride.

Ajani fallowed Anya. He looked to the silver male. "So, that is your brother." he said, as his eyes wandered to Astrados. Well, he is protective over his pride. Lets see what happens with Anya... he thought, and glanced down to Anya, then back up to the king. "Prohaps our timing is off." he said in almost a whisper.

She nodded quietly and whispered. "Yes..indeed..Just keep your wits about you, Aj." Her shoulder began to throb suddenly making her wince. The cut must have re-opened from the long journey to her brother's place. Blood oozed from the wound down to the ground, but she ignored it and wondered if the others would as well.

Ajani's nose twitched, and he looked at his queen, at her shoulder. "What happened?" he asked, concerned for her wound. He licked it softly, then looked at her.

She nudged him softly away from her brother toward a secluded part of the area. She nuzzled his mane softly, careful not to get blood on him. "Well..when I was at my Uncle's place...a rogue came and I jumped up him. He slashed my shoulder...but he also rescued my life." She remembered Chaos well..and she really did still have feelings for him, but she was so much happier with Ajani. He actually let her have a voice...and not be the passive one of the two. She sighed softly feeling suddenly tired.

"Ajani..." She mumbled softly, her head still propped against his maned neck as she rested. She nuzzled him in her sleep as she gave a soft purr. The wound on her shoulder no longer hurt as he caressed it with his loving touch.

Ajani licked her wound a few more times, then looked up to the other two males. He let out a light growl, not as a threat, just to let the male know that he was there, and ment no harm to him or his pride.
