For a while, Devon continued to sit there like that, content with just having Ze close by, then he sighed, slipping out of Ze's embrace and stretching, "Well, it's been about three months since I've had a job, and since my dad brought back to my attention my shortage of money, I should probably get one now." he said, finding his shirt on the floor and slipping it on as he spoke.

Ze had started to snooze as he lay there with Devon, the rhythm of his heart acting as a lyllabye. He started when Devon moved, falling face first onto the couch. He sat up took, cracking his neck and knuckles as he stretched too. He found his own shirt and put it back on, "Um, I know the diner is hiring for a new busboy and the grocery store needs people to work on the registers and with unloading stuff in the back." He tried to remember if he'd heard any place else was hiring at this time.

"Well, for one, we can cross off interaction with customers for sure; I'm not a people person." he muttered, and he yawned himself, noticing that it was getting around dinner time as he walked into the kitchen for a glass of water and seen it was six twenty-eight. "Hey, you stayin' again tonight or you goin' home?" he asked Ze, filling a glass with water and walking back out into the living room and looking down at Ze sitting on the couch.

Ze was still thinking about who would be hiring now, only coming out of it again when Devon came back, asking if he would be staying again tonight. He tilted his head, "I was gonna see how you were feeling and then decide before texting Rose. Her parents at least like to know where I am if I stay away from home." He said, shrugging some. He wanted to stay, but wasn't sure if Devon wanted the apartment to himself tonight.

Shrugging, Devon sipped his water, "It's up to you if you wanna' stay or not. 'S not like I've got any plans." he said, walking over as sitting on the couch, setting his water down on the floor next to him and picked up a book, flipping through the pages to a random spot.

Ze watched Devon, his head still tilted slightly to the side. he thought of his schedule tomorrow. He didn't have work, school or karate practice, he was pretty much free tomorrow. The younger boy finally shrugged himself, "I'll stay again tonight. I've got nothing going on myself." he said, putting his hands behind his head and reclining back into the couch, his eyes closed as he drifted off into thought again.
(oooh, I wondered why you weren't replying. And don't worry, I'm not mad. Just happy you replied ^^)

Devon stifled a yawned as it was getting late, but he read for a while longer.

(it's all right, I understand ^^. I almost go hacked once and I had to change my password fast to prevent it from happy anymore.)
Ze got up from his seat in his third period class, gathering his stuff together and stretching his hands over his head as the bell rang. Their teacher bid them a good day and the boy made a beeline for Devon, stopping next to his desk, "Didn't get enough sleep last night?" he questioned, raising a brow, a deep frown turning down the corners of his lips as he watched him, his arms crossing over his chest and his fingers tapping on his upper arm as he waited for an answer.

When Ze approached his desk, Devon couldn't help but grin. "We've been in the same class all year, and you're just now noticing that I sleep in this class?" He chuckled, then stood up and headed for the door. "Plus, there's no helping the fact that I only stayed up late because of you." He teased.

Ze narrowed his eyes some, sticking his bottom lip out in a pout, "I pay attention in class and try to focus on my work so I apologize if I don't always pay attention to what's going on to those around me...." He mumbled, rolling his eyes and following Devon to the door. He blushed a bright red and glared at Devon, a playful edge in his gaze, "You're the one that started it, I was trying to sleep." He retorted back as they walked down the hall through the jostling crowd.

Devon laughed, "Right, right. Because your actions were totally saying 'Let me sleep.'" He joked, smiling over at Ze. Slipping his hands into his pockets, Devon looked up, as if he were thinking, "Wanna' skip the rest of the day?" He asked, glancing over at Ze to see his reaction.

Ze rolled his eyes slowly, arms crossing over his chest again, "Shut up, Jackson...." he mumbled half-heartedly, still blushing lightly and not looking at Devon. He slowly thought over the offer, thinking if he had any tests or questions, or even labs during science that were really important. He finally shrugged, "Fine with me, I got nothing interesting going on in my other classes." He admitted. "Where would we do though?" He asked, looking over at Devon with a raised eyebrow.

Devon shrugged, smiling over at the other male, "Dunno'. Anywhere but here." He said, running a hand through his hair and pulling out his phone to look at the time. It was still pretty early, so lunch would have to wait a little while longer.
