"So long as our work is done! And I ain't workin' right now!" He opened the bottle and drank from it. "No occasion needed! Anyone want any?"

((sigh tired of waiting if Lloyd still intends to try and fight.))
Oro noticed the force smile, but said nothing of it, "Sorry to hear that you're literally 'missing' your family. Honestly I believe that as well. When me and my brother separate for sometime I end up... missing his... antics."
"Oh Oro you do care!" Schwarz ran straight at Oro in an attempt to hug him. though it turned into a tackle and took him down in the process.
Oro was quick enough to get a leg in his brother's face as well as hand in his face to keep his personal space"Unhand me you dog!" stressed
"But you hardly ever-" Schwarz heard the word party, "Party??? PARTY!!!" blaugh
"You got to have the shortest attention span-" Schwarz was already off after the dwarf chanting the word party and skipping like a child, "It's hard to believe we are the same bloody age." stressed

Colette couldn't help but giggle at the sight of Schwarz's attempt to hug his brother. Hearing Oro call Schwarz a dog, she would glance over to Oro. "Schwarz is a dog?" She asked just before watching Schwarz run over to Jason. Hearing him chant the word 'party' had her wanting to chant along with him.

In the commotion following Schwarz's rapid movements and the dwarf's producing of the booze, Lelia found the safest and most likely quietest area to be near was far away from the trio of the dwarf, the manic man, and the Chosen One, which wound up placing her about two and a half feet to the left of the man named Oro. "I suppose absence truly does make the heart grow fonder, although I've gotten more acid burns than I care to remember from my brother visiting while I'm doing my experiments. Not that he ever does it on purpose, mind, but it does tend to distract."
A sleeve was pulled up on the woman's shirt, exposing a healing patch of burnt skin. "Being a scientist has its own risks after all." She grinned wryly. "Librarian, researcher, scientist, all the same job really when you get down to it. You can't do experiments without researching the probable outcome, and you all the books in the world won't help you if they're all just piled in a disorganized heap..." The woman laughed. "I apologize. I'm babbling. What do you and your brother do, Sir Oro?"

Cinkel gave Oro a friendly nudge on the arm. Malphas:Haha, he is full of light...and old. 'Bout time you got close enough. "I'm kinda curious as to what you two are way out here for? If you don't mind our asking. Most people don't just come here to be just passing through. Usually we still have people wishing to see the old Chosen, Lloyd, or the Sages, but that's not your case." He crossed his arms over his chest and leaned on one leg.

"Aye, party!" Jason was also oblivious to the rest of the world, running in circles and waving drinking his beer.

"I see. 'Courage is the magic that turns dreams into reality...'" he repeated softly to himself, taking a moment to reflect upon that phrase. "That's quite a nice mantra...Emil, hmm? Nice meetin' ya." He pointed at himself with his thumb. "Th' name's Zaul Oleander. Though I thought I wasn't wanted here?" That last statement was added jokingly, and with an amused smirk. He looked over at the blue-haired Elf, shook his head, and chuckled a bit. "'Least y'admit somethin' is up yer a**. Cleo, is it? Ah, well. Since y'don't give a damn what anyone says or thinks about you, as you so claim, I wanted ta suggest t'Emil here that 'ee just leave ya in th' dust n' come with me. ^_^ Buuuuut he wants t'see a team effort goin', and it is true that there's strength in numbers, so...." he looks back at Emil. "Sure thing, I'll tag along. Now how can I turn you down when y'asked so nicely." Then, his expression turned to one of genuine concern as he added, "I'll even try ta do some quick sideline jobs as we go along to cover those meal costs. 'Cause if you've agreed t'pay every dinner, yer bound ta run outta money sometime." sweatdrop Of course, this was going to cut into his personal expenses, but he couldn't just stand by and watch the poor kid being mooched off of.

Cleo closed her eyes. A human asking a half-elf for help and he agreed to do so? But I thought... She sighed and looked off to the side, obviously embarrassed about what she is about to say. "It most likely won't be that expensive. I'm almost never in town, so he won't have much of a chance to." The elf then looked down her nose at him. "Wait, are you suggesting that I eat a lot because I'll have you know that I do not. A girl doesn't keep a figure like this by eating too much." She ran a hand through her hair. "He agreed to the deal. Anyway, it's not like he has to pay for every meal. If he can cook, I'll settle for that." Cleo looked at the both of them. Emil excepted the deal, but I just thought he was a ditz, but Zaul at least looks like he has a brain. Why the heck is he offering to help pay?

Emil fell silent for a moment when he heard Cleo's earlier response. His attention soon shifted back to Zaul when he introduced himself. "It's nice to meet you, Zaul." He said with a small smile, which then grew when Zaul agreed to come along with him and Cleo. "Thank you." ^.^ "I appreciate this." He glanced back over to Cleo. "I can cook actually."

At the Chosen question, Schwarz stopped his chanting, "Oh, he call me all kinds of things, dog, mutt, mangy canine, hyena, jackal, son of a... well you get the picture hopefully, I can call him names too."
"Don't apologize about babbling on, I'm more used to nonsensical banter from my brother. It's good to get a little more... enlightened discussions once in a while." Oro stroked his chin for a moment, pondering how he should answer these people's questions, "Well we were just in the area looking for new hunting grounds." It wasn't a lie, though what they hunted was far outside the norm. "It's more of personal choice, but we like to seclude ourselves in the wild." also not a lie, extended interaction tended to cause problems later for the two. "The exception to the rule is when we come into town and do trade... and maybe go to a local bar, for a drink or two."

"I see you have a wide vocabulary of canine and canine-esque creatures," Lelia noted with a chuckle, "And I thank you for your generousity when it comes to my little speeches. Back home I rarely got the chance to speak to other scientists, so I tend to go a bit overboard whenever I come across anyone who might be even mildly interested in my endeavors." She nodded at the man on his opposite side. "Sir Cinkel found that out earlier, I'm afraid."
"But I can see the advantages to seclusion, although with your brother I doubt it's for study. And I suppose that's what you were doing in town then, coming to trade for supplies?" The bespetacled blonde cocked her head inquiringly.

Colette had stopped chanting as well when Schwarz spoke. "He must think you're a dog if he's calling you one." She glanced over to Oro as he spoke with Lelia and Cinkel. "Hunting grounds?" She asked with a curious tone in her voice.

Cinkel listened to Oro as he explained what they were doing. "Hm, sounds good enough to me. Hm, don't find many who like the wild compared to the villages. Of course, I love the quite myself out in the forests." Cinkel smiled when he heard Lelia say his name. "Ah, I have no problem with you 'speeches' either, Ms. Lelia. So don't worry over it." He then turned to Colette. "Ah, Ms. Colette. Basically, hunting grounds are areas where one would go hunting. Usually for game such as monsters. It could even refer to the searching of plants for gathering or the like."

Jason continued his partying for a bit longer, then noticed that he was alone. He then grumbled and sat down next to the group. "Can't keep a party going these days."

"No actually we came here to get our bearings straight, we haven't been in the area before so it be best to know what the general direction of where the village is."
Schwarz sat down, beside the dwarf and patted him on the back, "One thing I've learned is that a party is what you make of it." He tipped his head and drank heavily from the bottle in his hand.
