Omega: Cafeteria - Welcome Wagon + 1 The redhead chuckled at Megan's constant jokes about the limitations of her powers. It was good to know that they had an Omega with a pretty good sense of humor - from what she had been so far from them (albeit it was very little), she had a feeling that their new additions would work out just fine. As Daylia acknowledged them, she gave her fellow redhead a smile, hoping that the girl would interject if she had anything to say to the newbies as well. Granted, the girl was relatively new herself, but that might make her insights all the more valuable. After all, she'd survived this long, hadn't she? A soft-spoken voice came from behind her, Kerrigan twisting her torso around in her chair to see another new face asking if she was an Omega. Before Kerrigan could respond, Christian confirmed the girls suspicions, inviting her to sit down with the rest of them. Kerrigan emphatically agreed, giving Christian an amused wink as he joked that he didn't bite hard. It was nice to see the new Omegas getting to know each other and seeing the team at their most relaxed. As soon as mission time kicked in, they would see just how much things changed -- hopefully it wouldn't scare them away. As Lorelle hopefully took a seat, Kerrigan leaned back in her chair slightly, messing her fingers back through her curls as they fell into her face. " Are you another one of Frost's promotions? I'm Kerrigan, this is Megan, Orchid, Christian and that's Daylia. And yes, we're all Omegas, some newer than others," she spoke in a friendly tone, motioning to each person in turn as she made her way around the table. It was quite remarkable just how many people had moved up to their teams in the last few days. She couldn't help but be a little concerned that they were being prepped for something horrible, but then again, Kerri thrived on field missions. It was pretty much the only time her powers were good for anything really useful. Not to mention, she was just plain good at it. Glancing up at the clock on the wall, she wandered what she was going to do the rest of the afternoon, at least until Roland's dinner tonight. She promised that she would try to go, and as of now there was no reason why she wouldn't be able to go. Unless, god forbid, something disastrous were to happen, or Cissa were to need her for something. But, until then, she might as well take it easy or go get some reading done. Spring Break was supposed to be her time to catch up on the work she'd missed, but spending it with the new recruits and getting to know them was just as valuable, albeit in a different way. " So, you guys have plans for this afternoon? Everyone already moved into their new dorm rooms and all that?" Her eyes moved around their ever-growing table, wanting to make sure that no one needed additional help with anything. After all, that was her function, right? Keeping the peace when their leader wasn't around and making sure that the Omegas remained a well-oiled machine.

Alpha - Music Room - Staying Behind Raine smiled and nodded when Leo mentioned them hanging out on a different day, motioning for Aurelie to head towards the door. Aurelie echoed his sentiments that she couldn't go with them, promising to share all the details with her later. It caused the brunette to chuckle slightly, giving a nod to show that she expected it when they got back. She smiled when he said they would try to stop by the dinner later tonight before heading out to the hallway, the blonde Alpha also giving it a "firm maybe" before the firefly gave them a small wave as they headed towards the door. Bella's entrance to the room, the Alpha leader's expression harder than she had ever seen it, caused Raine's hazel eyes to drop to the floor, giving a small nod when she asked if they were all alright. She felt a strange pang of guilt as the songstress pleaded with them to stay away from Cissa for their own good. Of course, the leader would understand, better than anyone, that it wasn't like most of the Alphas went looking for trouble from a tiny blonde that could incinerate them in the blink of an eye. But as soon as the blonde walked into the room, trouble seemed to follow - Raine could just never seem to get away in time. She looked up as Bella said that she would take care of the Omega leader for now, Raine giving the girl a glance as if pleading back that she be careful. As quickly as she appeared, the Alpha leader was gone, the sound of her heels disappearing down the hallway towards the library. She knew she hadn't done anything wrong, but there was still a knot in her stomach; a feeling that she was somehow responsible for this whole mess. If anything happened to Bella, one of the kindest and sweetest people at the Academy, Raine wasn't sure she would ever be able to forgive herself. Rob spoke, causing Raine to laugh softly. " Nah, we didn't do anything wrong. That's just…unfortunately, how Narcissa is. You'll learn to at least deal with it, though I'd be lying if I said it ever got any better. Thankfully, we have Bella on our side, and Frost can usually keep her from doing any real, lasting damage." She tried to offer a small smile, though it was far from reassuring. Telling someone that this was just the way it was, and the sooner they accepted it the better, seemed to go against everything she believed in. But at the same time, she now realized that there would be no public fraternization with the Omegas so long as the blonde was around in any capacity. It was stupid, but reality - albeit a harsh reality. Varis headed out, expressing his intention of watching the altercation between the two team leaders with an enthusiasm that made her a little uncomfortable. He seemed like he was the kind that thrived on fighting and battle, whereas Raine would be perfectly happy living out her life without another field mission to threaten herself and those that she cared about. Shaking her head politely towards him to show that she would not be joining him on his little mission. Tsukino also didn't seem to want to go see the blood shed, Raine taking the opportunity to lift her cello from it's case, slipping back into the chair and carefully placing the instrument in position (this was a little hard to do considering the length of her dress, but she somehow managed). Taking the bow and gently tapping it against the strings, she leaned her ear close to the strings to make sure that the instrument was still in tune since her last practice session. She kind of glanced nervously around the rest of the room, not sure if they were going to stick around or not - she hadn't played in front of anyone in a long time. Tossing her curls to one side, she ranger fingers up the neck of the instrument, clearing her throat nervously as she tore her gaze from everyone remaining and gently lay her bow into position, beginning to play the one song she could always remember by heart -- Bach's Prelude from Cello Suite No. 1. It was probably one of the most recognizable cello solos, but nevertheless beautiful. And, though she would never admit it to anyone, a good way to show off in front of her new friends without really trying.

━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━ Team ↠ AlphaxxLocation ↠ Test Thread Eli let out a small smirk at Roland's facial expression. "Oi, what a good way to start off introductions? 'Hey, you're that one drunk guy who can shoot BBs really fast and hard.'" He mimiced a make believe person. "Yeah, that's me." He continued on, and so began the story.
"Well, it was my first day with Alpha. And there was a massive bonfire that night. And of course, there was alcohol. I decided to break off the main party, as being antisocial as I tend to be, and went with a couple of the others to the top of Catalina's south hill. Well, we got hammered. I almost fell down the mountain, and that was the 'safe' part." He said smirking slightly. "The shitty part was when we were all intoxicated, still not sure what happened, but it kind of messed with our brains. I kind of attacked Bella and god knows who else. And then found a liking for one of our fellow members who appears to no longer be here. But, aside from that. That's how I'm known to be the drunken guy from Alpha who shoots his teammates with metal bb's. Oh, and I have a knack for pissing off the Omega girls." He finished with a smirk.
His grin sitting across his face as he remembered his opening race against the wind manipulator. He had sprayed sand all over the 'queen' and her 'court.' He made enemies of them fast. One of them even went as far as to chase him down and have a shoot out with her. ━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━ I took a world around the world to ease my troubled mind, I left my body lying somewhere in the sands of time OOC ↠

Omega, Location: Kitchen War stories, everyone's got them.
"Well let's hope that war story doesn't happen again tonight." he said to Eli's tale of Catalina. This dinner was to hopefully be a pleasant evening, with maybe a glass of wine. If the Headmasters did not approve, he'd invite them to join in order to supervise the affair. If things got out of hand, well there was a damn good reason Emma Frost was in charge of the Omegas, and frankly Roland did not want to find out.
"With those kinds of nights, there usually is never a "safe" part. Only a point where things did not get too out of hand." he commented, citing past experience, "Last time I was at a party I wound up having to pick up my "dad" from being thrown out of a window. And that was before the guns came out." he made sure to place emphasis on quoting "dad" because frankly, Roland never saw Dominic as a father. He saw him as a twisted, coked out, strung out, drunken danger to himself and others when he so much as heard of a party. Whenever the word popped up Roland made it a personal goal to make sure Sonja never left her room, nor Dominic ever went in for that matter. Dom had a habit of turning into a bit of a p***y hound when he was loaded up.
"And very good first impression on the Omega women, Alphas appear to be forgiving towards others. However, I do hope Omega women can forgive someone on their own team." a small grin appeared as he spoke, the idea that someone was an enemy of the Omega girls was somewhat amusing. Granted, Narcissa frankly had made every Alpha an enemy in her mind some time ago. Whether or not it was because of some personal grudge or her likely latent daddy issues were irrelevant to him. Based on seeing what he heard over the com-link, she had been at this attitude for quite some time.
"Something is telling me, if not for some miracle to occur within the next few moments, not to go back to the library to return this cook book." he then said, placing an open hand along the cover. He had been wanting to go back over there and get another book out on acupuncture, and possibly have a discussion with Dr. McCoy about it. For some reason, Roland was getting an interesting idea for an experiment and hoped to have a decent partner in research. Perhaps when things quiet down this evening would be a good time.
"Do you have a problem if I smoke? I know how some people don't like it if someone smokes around them, and feel the need to ask." he opened a window hoping he would say yes. If anything else he would blow it out into the rainy grounds, hopefully not blowing back into their faces.

Omega: Dorm Room: Dorm to myself once again. Lillian stretched out after her run on the treadmill. She learned early on in life the importance of stretching before and after a work out. Her heart rate had slowed nicely. She had waited for a response from Cissa over the comm but none came. Lillian just smirked and shook her head. Seems her good friend and team leader was busy with what ever it is she was up to in the library. It wasn't like what she had asked was anything of importance. Nope it was more just a comment that would allow her to see how her friends day was going. Lillian knew that even though classes were on break there were still many things for the team leads to do. Tossing the towel in the used bin she grabbed her tablet pc from the stand on the treadmill. It wasn't a long trip heading up the stairs rather then the elevator to the 2nd floor from the basement. The stairs were also generally less crowded and this time was no exception. Once in her room she noticed the other side was cleared out all that was left was a bare bed as the blankets and sheets had been removed. Given it's now sparce nature it seemed her room mate had left the school. Could be any reason really though chances were it was probably thanks to the anti mutant feelings sweeping the nation. Her parents could of gotten worried and wanted her near or something like only she and the administration would know. It was a shame really too. Lillian had been actually looking forward to having a roommate. But it seemed for now she would have the place to herself. Cissa would probably enjoy that as like before when she used to have a room that was adjoining to Cissa's, the team lead would at times seek refuge in Lillian's room. It seemed not many people who went looking for her would think to look in other rooms but Cissa's own for her. Then again Lillian wasn't great friends with many around the institute given her time is usually spent alone, with Cissa along with who ever else happened to be there, or down in Forge's lab doing just about anything. Tapping her comm she used it to contact Cissa even though she probably already knew. "Seems I have my room to myself once more. Corinne apparently has taken her leave for reasons unknown to me. Though I am sure you already know that." After she sent the message over the comm she striped out of her workout clothes and went to take a shower. Boy did she enjoy having showers connected to her room now. It wasn't long before she was finished showering. After drying off she got dressed in a simple pair of form fitting jeans and a plain form fitting soft red and black stripped t shirt. Sitting at her desk she opened her laptop to check her email. Flipping her hair over her left shoulder she began to brush it. Once the computer was booted up she opened her web browser and there on the gmail home page was a banner for a anti mutant group known as MaM: Mothers against Mutants. Seems the tendrils of hate were spreading farther and farther. In the banner was a picture of a woman holding a sign that said 'Save the planet kill yourself.' Lillian at first was just going to ignore it and go about logging in to check her mail. But something about the add caught her eye. She couldn't believe it well she could but certainly hadn't expected it. On the picture the woman holding the picket sign was her step mother. Here she was actively voicing her hate of mutants. The woman who when Lillian's powers were discovered had convinced her own father her flesh and blood to simply toss her out to the streets. Sure Lillian hadn't been the best of step daughters before that or anything. But never did anything that deserved what she got that day no it was purely because she turned out to be a mutant. And even though her father had previously been married to a mutant her real mother he was easily swayed to simply agree to kick Lillian out disowning her on the spot. Slamming her laptop shut her body shifted to Colossus' metal form shattering the computer and smashing her desk in the process. Lillian couldn't help as the tears streamed from her face as her form slowly reverted back to normal. She had thought herself past all this it happened years ago never entering her mind at all. But hear seeing that b***h holding that sign and it all came flooding back. She pulled her legs up to her chest and hugged them to her like it would protect her somehow. Though she did laugh to herself briefly in thought of what Cissa might say if she saw her like this crying over something so far in the past.

She's lost in the darkness, Fading away I'm still around here, Screaming her name She's haunting my dreamworld, Trying to survive My heart is frozen, I'm losing my mind ════════════════════════════════════════════════════════════════════════════════════════════════ Name: Ƞarcissa "Cissa" Ƚucania Team: Ѻmega Location: Library Thinking: Neanderthal HellXXXXXXXXXXXX═════════════════════════════════════════════“So …You’re naturally this much of a space case? Go bloody figure…”, her words came with a particular British lilt that easily voiced what country she’d been born in. Though she used a great deal of Americanized slang, she still used words that she’d grown up with—And pronounced a few things a little differently. Like ‘aluminum’ and ‘aluminium’. Neverthless, the Dom would simply have to accept being her throne—Unless he came up with a suitable replacement.
She openly snickered about his response to extra credit, leaning back slightly to poke him in the shoulder . “That’s because it is work, ponce.”
A slow, kittenish grin crossed her aristocratic features and she looked between the two Omega’s for a moment—Azure eyes sparkling with some king of unrepentant light. “You know Scarecrow…”, she trailed off, referring to Dom—Though her eyes flickered to Aren, knowing he would appreciate her humor a shred more than the Slovenian.
“Following the yellow brick road just took on a whole new meaning for me… I’m all for taking it slow…But with one foot gone, your balance will be absolute s**t—Getting to the Emerald City might be a little hard…Perhaps you should consider being a eunuch?”, her voice was teasing as she poked fun at the Slovenian… Though to be fair, in some ways her Halloween Town transformation had been worse. Snickering she reached up and brushed dusky hair out of Dom’s eyes—Her voice crooning. “Look at it this way—At least your jaw didn’t come unhinged when something pissed you off.”
Her expression became thoughtful, “Though I suppose some men would enjoy that…”
Her word s were cut off however when Aren suddenly stood, determined to prove her soap box comment wrong. Some girls might have blushed at a boy kissing them, while seated firmly in another boys lap…Correction, a good—respectful and innocent girl, would have blushed candy apple red. But Narcissa only smirked… “I’m sorry, not in front of the kids?”
“Last I checked the kids left a few minutes ago…”, she trailed off, azure eyes flickering—Seeming to hold some kind of light in them that was constantly shifting… Leaving one to wonder, entirely how much she was kidding—And how much she wasn’t… The native was clearly joking…. It was in his nature, she’d noticed… To joke, tease, and flirt as easily as he breathed… But it was part of her charm to remain ambiguous… One just never knew.
She made a face when he mentioned his dorm, her eyes rolling heavenward. “I’m sorry—You have a roommate who might not appreciate being locked out of his room— Or did you forget?”
“And I know exactly what men are good for. Sitting on their collective asses, watching women do all the work.”
And with the utmost—Perfect timing, Lillian’s voice chimed in on her comm unit announcing that her roommate had withdrawn. Narcissa had heard rumors, but nothing confirmed…Usually, her team roster was updated—And she went with it. “Lill’s… I might need to actually switch dorms with you for a night. Unless you want to stay… seventy five to watch, double to participate.”
“I promise to burn the sheets.”, she responded to the girl through her comm link, knowing that usually the brunette would easily understand her humor—And acquiesce to most of her demands.
Aren had asked for action… And if he wasn’t careful, he would bite off far more than he could chew. “Here’s a song for you—It’s called, ‘Graduation’, which you won’t be seeing the likes of if you don’t pick up your grades.”
She snickered when Dom mentioned calling Aren, Sacagawea, and outright laughed when she felt her throne’s body warm… She doubted it was out of anything other than embarrassment… It was rather comforting, that he took nothing from her attentions—Save mild irritation and a healthy dose of fear for everything that lay below his waist line.
Narcissa didn’t have to look to know that his cheeks were likely tinged with pink.
“Aww… Sacagawea… He thinks we’re distracting…”, she pouted at Dom, her countenance seeming to slip back and fourth between teasing vixen and the Red Queen as easy as water went down stream... Leaning too terribly close again, she nearly brushed their noses together, fingertips again teasing at his collar. "Am I distracting?"
Each emotion was a new mask, each response a new game. Who said, she didn’t enjoy the little things? Her eyes flickered to Aren when he asked ‘Everything’—Her nickname failing to completely still her as she fluttered her eyelashes sweetly..."Hold me to whatever you like-- Aquene."
Narcissa felt Isabella before she saw her—And her smile widened when she saw Gideon intercept the fuming brunette. Leave it to the Wolverine-Clone to ruin all her fun. Bringing her comm unit to her lips, she pressed the button for the Siren’s channel… “Aww… Gideon… Afraid for your little bon bon? You should have let her come—I mean… I’m shaking in my stiletto’s.”
Clicking the comm off, she snickered and returned Aren’s government book to the table and picked up Dom’s Algebra book—Sliding finally from his lap to give him a reprieve. Handing him the book, she looked at him pointedly. “Study then. But you had better pass your next test with flying colors… Or I’ll convince Logan that you seriously lack in survival skills--- And he’ll drag your lazy a** out to the middle of nowhere, and put you through Neanderthal hell.” ════════════════════════════════════════════════════════════════════════════════════════════════

━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━ Team ↠ AlphaxxLocation ↠ Test Thread "I wouldn't mind if you smoked, but in all honesty, those smoke detectors probably would." Eli pointed out to Roalnd, considering they were still indoors. He thought back to Roland's other statements and smirked a little. Eli wasn't so much forgiving as he was apologetic.
"Oh, by the way, I forgot to answer your previous question. My ability is the manipulation and creation of electromagnetic waves. My main choice of weapon," He stated as he began to rummage through his cargo pocket of his shorts, and seconds later pulling out a bag of bb's, not for a standard bb gun. Ones that had a decent size to them, are these. He said with a slight smirk.
Eli, was a physics nut and loved doing little sciences like that. It flowed well with his ability, considering there were traits he could hopefully come to exploit once his potential reached the extent of his intelligence.

Omega, Location: Kitchen Damn you smoke detectors.
"Of course," Roland chuckled to himself, failing to take notice of the smoke detectors, "My home back in New Orleans the detectors either didn't work or were missing. To say that my home life was interesting is to make an understatement."
To say the home Roland lived in was in fact a home was in fact, another understatement. It was about a stone's throw from being called a crack house on a good day. Luckily Roland managed to keep his room intact, with no intrusions from Dominic and his crew. It was a modest cell, in the sense of the living quarters of monks rather than a cage, that he kept tidy. Sonja even enjoyed the room, especially because of all the books he kept. He had quite a collection of them, including notebooks of his own work.
"So I was correct about metal manipulation, very nice." he added, whistling when he saw his choice of weapon, "I can imagine why some people would have a problem having those fired at them." hell Roland probably wouldn't have liked that either, and he'd been electrocuted once for chrissakes.
Letting out a small grin, "I manifest armor over my body. It looks metallic in composition, but before you get any ideas it's more like kevlar in durability. Gives me a boost in strength and the ability to take a hit, plus it regenerates from damage. Wish I could regenerate from the wounds i've had, then I wouldn't be so pretty." chuckling to himself as he pointed to the scar that went down his face, right over the eye on that one. Hell of a hit from who gave it to him, caught him off guard completely.
"I also," finishing, his fingers stretching as he generated a curved knife in his right hand, "can make weapons on the fly. Of course, I have time limits for the armor and weapons. Otherwise my metabolism eats me alive. I'm working on how to trick my body into giving me a couple extra hours."
"Now call me curious, but are those bb's your only offensive tactic currently? Because to tell you the truth, I'm already coming up with some devious ideas involving melee weapons with your powers." he stated, and the gears were turning. It could very well be a limitation regarding weight, but if Eli didn't have any limitations he could use a variety of metal weapons simultaneously as both offensive and defensive weapons, "I don't have classes, so my brain churns out some interesting ideas. In fact, I'm working a theory about acupuncture, and potential effects it can have on mutants."
Roland had been spending the past few weeks reading on the subject, which the library had quite a few books on: the fact which surprised Roland greatly. While an ancient art, that has been said to treat a variety of ailments, something piqued his interest about the use of pressure points and nerve endings. In humans, this could result in affecting pain, and a variety of aspects. But what about a mutant? Perhaps stimulating nerves in a mutant could unlock the hidden potential within them? Roland was willing to see into that theory himself. Perhaps present his findings to Dr. McCoy and Mr. Summers and Ms. Frost afterwards. Seeing his black notebook full of his research, something that he had completely forgotten he had brought, gave him new motivation into his work.
Perhaps Eli might be interested? He could only gauge that after his response.

Scorch Robert Mason Jr.
Alpha - Team Music Room - Location Making a point of not walking towards the explosion - Currently Rob offered a polite parting wave to Leo and Aurelie as they left, despite the fact he was a little shaken up. Raine's laugh, caused by his earlier question, seemed to ease him a fraction. If it wasn't his nature to head blindly into danger long before his mind had the chance to way up the pros and cons, her "words of comfort" would have probably undone that slight bit of reassurance. As it stood, however, he could save face with the fact that he managed to leave before the s**t hit the fan for once, and he wasn't about to walk back into it. As he was about to find out, Varis was all to keen to leave the minimum safe distance.
"Well, at least we can rely on a bit of consistency from her," Rob offered with a joking smirk, feeling a desperate need to lighten the mood. What chance his efforts had in the face of Varis' inquiry, remained to be seen. At least Tsukino, though still decidedly macho, had the sense to know not to head towards the epicentre of whatever was about to happen. Judging from her expression, Raine had no intention of walking back into the library either.
"I understand where you're coming from," Rob said calmly as he turned to Varis. "I really do, but even I can see there's no point in walking into a burning building when there's nothing to gain from it." He paused for a moment, considering the validity of his comment. "Okay, bad example. But the point remains. If you know there is a potential for a nuclear explosion, you don't head towards it. But I guess if you wanna get incinerated, or worse, survive to grow a few extra limbs from the residual radiation, then by all means go for it." So what if the basis of his argument was based on fiction and had absolutely no relevance to the current situation. He thought it sounded good.
At some stage during his rant, Raine had managed keep her power in check in order to pick up her cello and had started playing. In all honesty, Rob welcomed the distraction from his hypocritical attempt of arguing against his very nature. Not really seeing the point of standing, Rob pulled up a chair of his own and watched Raine play a vaguely familiar piece. Most of his amazement came from the fact that even such an oversized instrument could be graceful, but the ratio eventually leaned in favour of Raine's skill. He also had an ever so slight air of jealousy that stemmed from the fact that he didn't have a scrap of musical talent. When she finished her piece, Rob settled for a polite, quiet applaud. Even that felt a little awkward, but he offered respect and appreciation where it was due.
"Ever considered playing professionally?" He admitted that probably wasn't the most inspired thing he could had said, but it was a darn site better than the several clichéd comments that sprang to mind. At least the feeling of guilt was gone and he was able to relax again.

ℜ@√℮ Ѻмεℊα- Conversing with the enem- Alpha "Alpha huh, then lets hope my team leader doesn't catch us chatting." Leion smirked at Marcel and placed his left hand on his hip which jutted slightly to meet his hand. "Well for one there are ways to access the roof from the inside." going back to the topic of better ways of doing things "You could also look out the windows from any of the public rooms." those were really the easiest way and Leion thought they would be common sense, but then again he had met some others with rather . . . unique forms of common sense, Jacen for instance grew up on an island without all the modern and 'civilized' ways of doing things and that's one of the easier to understand examples. "In any case, you can feel free to do it your way, just don't get yourself killed falling off the building when I was the last person in contact with you." He jested, he didn't need to give Mrs. Frost a legitimate excuse to probe his mind, though she probably did anyways. He hoped he wouldn't get scolded for thinking that he next time he see's her. I am temperamental And I have imperfections And I am emotional I am unpredictable, I am naked I am vulnerable, I am a woman Code Name: Siren Team: Alpha Location: Outside - Again Ability: Sound Manipulation Singing: Nothing. Too angry, to sing. █║▌│█│║▌║││█║▌│║║█║█║▌│█║▌│║║█║█║▌│█│║▌║││█║▌│║║█║█║▌│█║▌│║║█║ Isabella felt vaguely….Guilty, for needing to reinforce such a silly thing with her team. She'd caught their parting words.. And she wished that there was time to explain... That she could make them understand. If it weren’t for the fact that she legitimately feared Narcissa may one day snap and murder someone… She wouldn’t have been so stern. But as it stood, she’d seen the nasty blond at her worst… She’d watched the girl, date her child hood friend for close to two years… And then drop him, as if he hadn’t meant anything at all. Why, she had no idea… But it certainly didn’t soften her opinion of the girl… Especially since her friend not long after left the Academy…
Had the songstress known that he’d been cheating on Narcissa, or planning on it—With her other best friend… She might have been a little more lenient. But as it stood… The Omega leader in her eyes was simply a cold—Cruel monster. Who didn’t at all care who she hurt… As long as she got what she wanted. And who the hell, knew what exactly that woman wanted.
Her face remained calm, though tight at the prospect of dressing down her fellow leader… Knowing that while technically they held the same rank—Isabella had been at the school far longer than Narcissa. This wouldn’t be the first time she’d wondered what would happen if they went head to head. Isabella would hazard to say that she was the better fighter… Clearly the faster fighter. But Narcissa had raw power in spades… And that was worrisome.
Not for the first time, she wondered how—Wondered why, Dios would ever make such an awful creature so pretty and powerful. Had he just…Slipped up? Mixed up his people making recipes? Running a hand through her dark hair, sighing in frustration… She didn’t pause as she heard metal and flesh moving together—Coming closer.
It was either Gideon or Wolverine.
Wolverine would likely egg her on… And Gideon… Her footsteps quickened at the thought, just walking into the library as she felt an arm grab her by the waist—And her small body hauled up into strong arms, and back out the way she’d come before she could utter a word. Physically Gideon was ten times stronger than she was… And no matter how angry she was, she wouldn’t ever use her ability on him to cause him harm.
But that didn’t stop the stream of angry words that left her in Spanish, her Columbian lilt making her accent thicker than normal. Nor did is stop her struggling to try and get free. “¿Por qué usted la defiende siempre?” [Why do you always defend her?]
“¿Usted no oyó lo que ella dijo? ¿Usted ha visto la manera que ella trata a mi equipo? ¿Nuestros amigos?, ¿Yo? [ Did you not hear what she said? Have you not seen the way she treats my team? Our friends? Me?]”, she went on, hitting him in the shoulder once, hard enough that any normal person would have winced… But Gideon was made of a stronger mold… His bones laced with adamantium. Her girly hit meant nothing.
Narcissa’s words carried over the comm, and Isabella remained silent…Her temper was reaching a point in which there was very little that would allow her to simmer down anytime soon.
Isabella fumed, her eyes closing as she slowly counted to ten—Reigning her temper back as she’d been taught. Counting sheep, counting crayons…Whatever distracted her. The songstress didn’t lose her temper often, if ever… But when she did… She did so with a spectacular fashion. She became aware that they were going outside when she heard the sounds of rain getting closer… She’d been able to hear it hitting the roof… But hitting the sidewalk was so much closer… She’s always loved the sound of the rain. It soothed her… And she knew it. “So. What is it?”, she questioned Gideon in English as the rain came down on them…
“You’re not afraid of me getting in trouble.”, Isabella pointed out, her lips forming a rather thin line as he carried her. Scott would never take any students side over her own—Let alone Narcissa’s. He was the father to her, that she’d lacked growing up, and maturing… He’d taught her how to change her own oil…To replace a flat…Taught her to fight—To think critically…Taught her one of the most valuable lessons she’d ever learned… When to ask for help. “You -know- I can hold my own.”
When Gideon asked her if she was going to run off if he let her go, her glare deepened and she looked away from him…It had been exactly on her mind to do just that. “I make no promises.”
Though once on her feet she merely took a few steps away, her arms crossing over her chest as she let the rain soak her thoroughly…Watching the water fall into the lake, making it look like Dios was just pouring tears into it from the sky. “You two seem to have some kind of understanding…. I don’t know why… Is it because you’ve both killed? Is it because you both are lethal in your own right? I don’t know—And I don’t care.”
Isabella had taken life—In the form of demons… Monsters in Avalon. Though on missions, she did her best to incapacitate…Killing… It was something she had a problem with.
“My team can’t -take- her abuse anymore. I can’t. And you won’t always be there to stop me from taking it up with her. One of these times… One of the Alpha’s is going to get sick of it… They’re going to start a fight—And you know, she’ll finish it.”, the Siren intoned with an unnerved sigh, not yet turning her gaze back to her long time love… Too frustrated to even voice, what boiled inside.
How could she lead a team-- Be a leader, if she couldn't even protect her team at home? Backing down from Narcissa was...Probably the smartest thing to do, safety wise. But it was the stupidest, while trying to assert herself...
“If you don’t want me fighting with her… Fine. You try. Something -has- to be done, Gideon.”

He didn't care too much about running into her nor did he care about ever meeting her at all. It wasn't one of those press your luck things. The thought about him falling and killing himself wasn't likely. He chose the best option out of it all. For example, if he was to be at the top like he was intending from climbing at one angle and he managed to fall, he would slide down and fall into the bushes. A little pain to suffer, but he wouldn't die. To add to it, he had learned how to manage those powers of his to where water on the ground would catch him by forming a bubble around him. "Oh, I see. At any case, I scanned the place back and forth and chose the most safe option to climb. If I didn't, then I wouldn't be breathing right now when I had to climb tree's in the forest."
He liked talking about things he knew. That would probably be the only time you would hear him have a good conversation without him seeming to be in a shell like a turtle. "At any case, I understand the need of concern, but those methods are boring, especially windows."He looked back up for a few and then back at Leion. "So what are your abilities?" Name: Leonardo "Renaissance Man" Rossi Team: Alphas Location: Mall with Aurelie Well… So Much For A Peaceful Night Out… Mallroom Blitz! “Of course I called it…” Leonardo chuckled before taking a bite of his taco. He looked over to the table where the anti-mutant jerks were sitting at. Their attention seemed to be focused on one patron of the mall: a skinny, teenage boy with horn-rimmed glasses wearing a red turtleneck. In his hand there was a copy of a book called ‘Aquatic Poetry’… Leonardo had never seen it before. It appeared to be one of those books that you had to scrounge the Internet for ages to find until you actually found it for some low-retail price. Leonardo noticed that it was a bit warm to be wearing a sweater turtleneck as the boy had on, even if the average temperature was lower from the storm. The comments that came from the douche bags were ones of, ‘I heard he’s one?’ ‘Oh yeah? He looks freakish enough.’ ‘What’s he hiding under that turtleneck? It’s way too freakin warm to be wearin’ one of those…’
The douche bags apparently wanted to find out just exactly what the boy was hiding under the turtleneck. They stood abruptly, walking over to the other table with purpose. The douche bags sat around the lonely teenager, already making jokes and poking fun at him, as douche bags would do. Little did they know that at this time, Leonardo had stood from his seat and was slowly approaching the group. At first the teen decided to ignore them, which in Leo’s mind seemed like the best plan of action. The group of harassers became more belligerent however, snatching the boy’s book away and making a mockery of his love of poetry. Now the teen couldn’t ignore them any longer… except he could only sit there helplessly. One of the harassers leaned over to the teen and pulled on the collar of his turtleneck… and jumped back in surprise. He had revealed a set of gills on the boy’s neck, a side effect of his mutation. The group stood (including the boy, whose fear factor increased by ten), cursing expletives and shouting the boy’s identity as a mutant.
Finally the troubled teen had had enough. He pushed one of the douche bags (apparently the leader) in the chest in a weak offensive, the stronger man only stumbling back because of surprise. The mood changed from belligerent to antagonistic in a mere instant. Faces were contorted in shock and ‘Oooooo’s were called. “You wanna f—king go, mutie?” the man asked, putting his hands out in the typical ‘Come at me bro’ stance. “Come on… let’s see what you got…” he elicited no response from the boy, who was looking for an exit… except they were all blocked by the encroaching group of Hollister-wearing teenagers. The first to throw a punch was the leader… but suddenly, his wrist was caught by a stronger individual. Before there was a reaction time, the leader’s face was smashed into Leonardo’s ascending knee, breaking (more like shattering) the leader’s nose instantly. To finish him off, Leonardo slammed his elbow down onto the back of the man’s neck, knocking him unconscious. Luckily Leo was only using a fly’s reflexes and not an ant’s strength… or else the man would be dead.
One down, three to go, Leonardo said to himself as he took his simple Krav Maga battle stance, waiting for the next guy. Two of them weren’t exactly ready to challenge the obviously better fighter, but one of them (the more muscular one), pushed the gilled boy out of the way and charged Leonardo. It was all in vain however, since Leonardo was ready. There was a lazily thrown punch, blocked by a stiff, strong forearm. At the same time as the block, Leonardo slammed his other fist into the man’s face, knocking him off balance. Still using the same momentum as the punch, Leo stepped around the man’s right leg and grabbed the man’s right wrist with his left hand. Then, he pressed his right forearm against the man’s throat, pushing him over Leo’s right leg and onto the ground in a semi-circular motion. Two down for the count.
The last two Hollister-clad men (cowards when faced with a real fight), turned to the rest of the crowd in the mall. “Come on now!” one of them shouted, “Are we really gonna let these muties push us around like this?” He was met with mostly mute reactions, but a few people started to slowly nod their heads. Meanwhile, Leonardo was bending over to help the fallen boy, who had been pushed to the ground by the second man… who was also on the ground now. As Leo was helping the boy up, other people (not just the anti-mutant jerks) were shouting and waving their arms, advancing on Leo and the boy. The preppy teenage cheerleaders had started to pick up their food as if to throw it. Leonardo looked over to Aurelie, knowing she would give her support in this situation… hopefully. Looking back to the nearest table he was at, it still had a few trays and various napkins on it. Behind him, there was a very long table that was comprised of smaller tables that were pushed together beforehand by some of the patrons for some sort of birthday party which had since been disbanded. It led to the exits… and the tables seemed slick enough to slide on…
He had seen this in the movie The Other Guys. He hoped to God that it worked here.
Switching to ant strength, Leonardo took a firm hold on the boy’s forearms and kicked the nearest table, shattering the table and sending trays, bits of food, napkins, and wood splinters everywhere. Still holding the boy with gills, and switching to spider agility, Leonardo leapt onto the table and started sliding across it on his back. Food started flying everywhere… Leo really hoped to God that this would work… and that Aurelie would either shield them or speed them along on the table.

(This post is nothing special u.u)
Bianca raised an eyebrow at Reggie's words not bothering to comment on them but finding them to be somewhat blunt. Then again she had a very good reason in her mind for being a little timid. Though she had to admit that Reggie was just as weird if not more so. It wasn't a bad weird so far and therefore she didn't run the other way. She liked to think that she knew how to talk to people just fine it was just she had hit a little roadblock in her social life. Look at Bella and Dom after all. She had spoken to them just fine before the whole Halloween town fiasco. Granted it was hard to not be friends with Bella. As Reggie mentioned it not bothering her and that she would be sure to voice it if it were bothering her Bianca nodded to her. She didn't doubt one bit that the other girl would be the first to voice her thoughts if Bianca started to annoy her.
Reggie's use of the word friend was odd in Bianca's eyes though it was just because she was not sure they had known each other long enough to be friends. Not that Bianca doubted it was a potential outcome to this little meeting. "Thanks." As Reggie elaborated on the rabbit comment Bianca gave a nod of understanding. "I see. I guess that makes sense." As Reggie replied to her self defending comment Bianca sighed slightly. As Reggie finished speaking of the matter Bianca gave a slight shrug. "If you say so I guess." As Reggie's stomach growled again Bianca looked down at her own for a moment. It seemed they were finally heading back towards the food and Bianca was all for it for the moment. "Lead the way." Bianca would be lying if she said she was looking forward to being around a big crowd of people while she ate but she figured she needed to get back with the program soon. The sooner she got back into the normal order of things the sooner she could get back some semblance of normalcy.

So you think I'm alone? But being alone's the only way to be
Lorelle~Ace Team:Omega Location:Cafeteria...Nice to meet you. Ability: Power-Augmentation ________________________________ “Okay…then I promise not to bite back. Hard.” a ghost of a smile on her face as she joked right back at him. Lorelle didn’t want to come off as nervous with no sense of humor to her new team mate’s, but that really didn’t matter right now anyway. Seeing that it was okay to sit and have lunch with them, no one seeming to make any objections, she pulled out a seat putting her sketchbook on the table with her tray on top before sitting down. Turning her attention back to the redhead she listened to the mini-introduction she was giving her. “Hi, I’m Lorelle.”She waved a little at everyone around the table before Answering Kerrigan question “Yeah, just got promoted less than an hour ago”.
As she started to take a bite of some of her French fries Lorelle looked up at the other newcomer to the table (Jacen). By the way he talked she knew or was pretty sure that he wasn’t new to the team. Not really having anything to say to the ‘Popping up everywhere’ comment she just continued to eat her food. “No, not yet. I was thinking of maybe going to the mall first.” Lorelle said to Kerrigan and the rest of the omegas at the table. She did most, okay all, her shopping online not wanting to be around all the crowds at the mall. But feeling in the mood for some fresh air and getting her car out for a bit sounded like a good idea. Beside’s maybe it was time for some new changes.
