Scarlett tossed and turned all night as she continued to dream about Justin. She awoke at dawn, bolting upright at the bad turn her dreams had taken. "Justin!" She said, breathing heavily as she looked around her tent, almosu looking for him. She sighed, blowing hair out of he face in annoyance, "Damn dreams." She mumbled, getting up and getting dressed in her uniform for the day. The half demon was too spaced out to notice that she had returned to her normal, half demon vampire self. Trying to shake Justin from her mind, she stepped from the tent and made her way to the training grounds, calling new soldiers over to train with her. She had to make sure these soldiers could at least defend themselves against th enemy.

Justin ended up tossing and turning all night, earning a few good cuts on his back from Rebellion. Sleeping against a sword, not a good idea. He snapped awake, almost looking around for Scarlett. He then got up to his feet, calling the newer troops over for training. He needed to get the noobs ready for a real fight.

Scarlett began teaching he new soldiers some basic technquies to help them defend themselves against the enemy, "Remember, never give ground, that will give the enemy a window of oppurtunity to attack and possibly fatelly wound you. Keep your attacks constant and always look for an opening in their defense that could give you the advantage. And aim for the most vunerable spots in the head, such as the nose and neck, the stomach, feet and groin. Now, let's begin some drills." She said in a very stern, but sort of friendly voice as she showed her soldiers what they should practice, then had them pair up. Training the new recruits helped keep Justin off Scarlett's mind, for the most part.

Justin ordered the new soldiers to perform a coordinated team attack against him. "Remember: no loner tactics out there. A soldier fights with his comrades like a well oiled machine." He told them, dodging their attacks. Some of them got a few hits in, but they didn't really hurt Justin. He actually respected how quickly some of them took to the lesson. Most of them, however, weren't even working together. They were just scattered around like a bunch of flies.

Scarlett walked among her troops to check their progress. More than half of them had already taken the practice to heart and she only had to stop several times to help a few of them fix their posture or how or where they aimed at their partner. At noon, she let the soldiers leave for lunch and went to go sit by the river to think.

Justin left thenew recruits to their training and went to get himself some air. He figured the river would be a good spot to relax. He walked over to the river, but, despite his efforts to stop thinking about Scarlett, there she was! Did the universe hate him, or something?

Scarlett sat on the river bank silently, looking down a the clear water with glazed over eyes. She stared at her reflection, almost seeming to have a staring contest with it. Justin's sudden presense and scent reached her annd she blinked, lifting her eyes to look at the male. She stood, "Didn' think I'sld run in to you here." She said softly, looking down at her feet nervously.

Justin saw Scarlett looking down at her feet. "Well, we've been running into each other a lot lately. It shouldn't be all that shocking." He told her. He kinda saw this coming, anyway.

Scarlett laughed nervously and scratched at the back of her neck, lifting her head, "Yeah, true. So, are we going to battle like last time or are w done with that?" She asked. The thought of fighting Jusin again didn't settle too well with her, but she wasn't goin to say so if he wanted to fight.

For some reason, Justin didn't feel like fighting Scarlett either. He didn't know what the hell was going on here, but he just shook his head. "As much as I love to fight, I'm gonna have to pass on that." He told her.

Rose nodded, "Good, same here." She said with a sigh, plopping back on the grass tiredly.

Justin sighed as well, taking a seat on the grass next to Scarlett. He couldn't really find anything to say. This was one of the two rare moments where the pair didn't try to kill each other, and his recent thoughts about her had made things awkward.

Rose lay silently on the grass. Her eyes were closed and her hands were behind her head. She was deep in thought, breathing in the soothing scents around her, even Justin's. She suddenly had the urge to kiss him to see what would happen, but pushed it off and sighed.

Justin decided to lay down in the grass as well. For some reason, he heard his brain screaming at him to kiss her, but he pushed it off as insanity. He didn't even know her that well! Not to mention she was his enemy! It made no sense.

Scarlett felt Justin lay next to her and she rolled on her side, facing away from him. She sighed some, using her arms as a pillow as she tried to clear her head of him, but finding it more and more difficult.
