Blood poured in all directions, black and red, senshi and Nega, all into the waters of Elysion. In his dimming vision, he held to the monstrous arm and looked the woman in the eye as best he could. She hated them, there was no doubt of that now, and would kill him. It was then that a tiara, a shimmer of light, caught the arm about his neck and severed it off. Still, it held firm and he held tight, gasping as he tried to pull the collar off his neck to speak. To make matters more difficult, a strange girl came to him to try with an arrow, followed by Chronos, the Princess that had introduced herself before. In a flash, smoke billowed about once more, and this time it was harder to breathe, to see, and to speak.

As people were attacked from all sides, he looked up at Chronos and his eyes narrowed. "I know what I'm living for -- and you're trying to take it away." He gasped again, coughing as tears rolled down his cheeks. If the woman from before was still around, he had but one thing to say to her. "Soldier, kill me if you must -- but KILL HER FIRST!" And with that, he attempted to pushed Chronos towards where he last saw Tanzanite.

Animals the lot of them and each side convinced they were right. He -knew- he was right though. The Negaverse kept saying that they wanted to drive out invaders but who was the real invader? He'd been born here damn it!

He'd been on his way to doing something else stupid when he heard his name."Corvus.... I can't...." he recognized his cousins voice more than he recognized the figure through his blurred vision. His ribcage blazed in pain and his lungs still felt like they were full of pepper spray. "Cant breath"

The general had done a number on him and he was Damn lucky his cousin had seen him.

"It's ok, L-- It's ok." Corvus cooed softly at her cousin, smoothing gloved fingers slowly through his hair, resisting the urge to give him a pat-down right here in the middle of the battle field to try and make sure he hadn't lost any limbs or wasn't bleeding so severely that if she moved him it would only get worse. Instead she shifted a bit more, slipping beneath one of his arms so that she could lift him up.

"We need to get you out of here. Away from this. We need to..." ******** Elysion and the safe haven it was supposed to have been. To hell with the man who had appeared, trying to inspire them with greatness to keep fighting the great fight. For all that she despised the Negaverse agent known as Tanzanite, Corvus was almost willing to give up on everything she had strove to believe in up to that point just to let the General have what she wanted if it meant not losing someone who was close to her.

She swallowed hard, buckling down as she tried to shift Arsinoe against her. "We need to get you out of here. I can come back and get the b*****d who did this to you, then... But we're getting you out of here first. So you can either attack me or you can send one more attack back after them... But you are getting out of here. Alive. Do you hear me?"

"I-i dont know." She confessed to the other senshi, talking into the girls shoulder as she held on to Flora. She hugged the girl back, clinging probably being a better term for it. She balled her fists in the back of the girls fuku, trying her best not to cry. "I know it has to be done... i save people by doing this.."

"But."

She paused, trying to catch her breath... not panicking not panicking not panicking oh hell she was so close to the edge... "I know they would not feel the same for me, would kill and think nothing of it. But.. Flora.. what if i killed a classmate. What if it was my neighbor, what about their families? I jsut severed a huge tie to someone of this world!" Did she really have a right to do such a thing, did ANY of them?

Breathing... just breathing. Taking one final deep breath Lyra grabbed Floras shoulders and pushed her away. Looking into her friends eyes, a single tear rolled out of Lyras. "We dont have time for this though." She really appreciated the comfort, it was why she never would truly leave her team even if she was loyal to the BMC. She loved them too much.

"The others need our help, and it would be selfish of me to not do my duty or prevent you from yours." She was so eating those words, locking away deep inside how she REALLY felt. If she wanted to? She would have cried her eyes out... not now. She would curl up in her room later, clinging to her rabbit plush... and cry then.

For a man with so much blood on his hands, the supposed Prince seemed like a wimp. So far Mica had seen him shot with an arrow and partially strangled by Tanzanite, and yet he hadn’t fought back. What sort of person didn’t fight back, if not to protect those dratted Senshi that were fighting for him, then at least in self-defense? Guilty conscious, maybe.

… and now he was trying to get that side character Princess killed. Maybe he was just nuts.

Not wanting to destroy her brain trying to figure out what the b*****d Prince was up to, Mica aimed a punch at a nearby Senshi – some fancy fop boy – and said, “ Some Prince you’ve got there. Real charmer.”

Sirius had nothing to do with Chronos but she was a senshi as well as a princess and this dude who the nega general was trying to kill was now trying to kill her? That wasn't right.

She ran to Ares if nothing more then to inform her of what was going on. She fought a few negas on the way but she didn't hang about. She wanted Ares to know what was going on because she knew that Ares knew lots and this might be something she wanted to know now rather then later.

As she reached her leader she pulled on her shoulder and moved back quickly in case she would react thinking that Sirius was an enemy.

"Ares... the guy who appeared is trying to get Chronos killed. I thought you should know." She wasn't sure if it was important but it seemed like he wanted to get that princess killed and even if they didn't follow her, that was wrong right?

"Just .... s**t" He cursed again as Corvus lifted him up mostly to his feet. Everything screamed in pain as her moving him jostled his injuries."Get my .. lantern...please."

He couldn't give up yet. Not after fighting so hard. Even if Corvus was determined to get him out of here he wasn't going to leave without trying one more time. He could get off one more attack.

As he thought about that something else crossed his mind."Denebola! " he fell into a coughing fit for a moment as Corvus carried him back. "Find Denebola please... get me out but find her"

He had no idea where his partner was and needed to know she was alright.

Tanzanite was trying to pull herself to her feet when Birhan's foot came into contact with her ribcage. It was enough to knock the wind out of the General and send her sliding a couple of feet back, leaving that same bloody trail behind her. She didn't have time to gather her wits before Arsinoe lunged, attempting to shove the disoriented General's head beneath the bloody water. A black blue interrupted him, but Tanzanite did not seem to notice. A scream tore from her throat as the arrow was plunged through the half of the arm still clamped around Endymion's throat, as though Tanzanite could still feel the pain from the dismembered limb.

Chronos' fingers were enough to pry the wounded thing loose, and it fell into the water with a series of horrifying screeches.

Zinkenite's shadow fell over the General as she struggled to push herself up from the water. The blood still flowed freely from the wounded stump, and it showed in the way Tanzanite swayed as she slowly stood.

“How...pathetic,” she rasped as she took the cloth from Zinkenite's hand and held it over her mouth. The blackened hand was pulling itself up on it's claws, running along like Thing from The Addams' Family. Tanzanite's grey eyes narrowed as she took one swaying, lurching step away from Zineknite, then another and another, until she emerged from the smoke. The black hand crawled through the water, screeching angrily as it ran blindly about. It ran blindly into Corvus' ankle, screeching as it bounced off and ran back toward's it's owner.

“This girl,” Tanzanite's eyes focused on Chronos', loathing evident in the way her brows drew down. This was the Zodiac Princess. The target Linarite had been assigned to kill, which Tanzanite took on their Captain. This was one of their last remaining beacons of power, the holder of one of the few known Great Crystals. Tanzanite had thought of killing her many times, and yet the Negaverse General only looked down at her with an appraising gaze. “She fought for you. She would put herself in my way... for you.”

The black hand was at her ankle now, drumming it's claws against her boots. She bent to retrieve it, and held the squirming thing to the stump of her arm. Long, thick tendrils reached out from the open wounds, intertwining and pulling together. All the while, her gaze never left the Zodiac Princess, even as she snapped the shaft of the arrow still sticking out of her forearms. Her fingers flexed once, curling and uncurling into a fist that soon fell limply to her side.

“You call us animals, but at least we would defend our own. At least we do not betray those who fight beside us. And the first time I see true loyalty,” Tanzanite bent her frame just slightly to Chronos – could it have been a bow? “It comes for a man not worth saving. Is there nothing you won't betray, Prince of Earth?”

Then, she was gone, and a high-pitched scream rang through the hall. Though she swayed with the effort of an injured teleportation, Tanzanite stood behind Chibimoon, black claws wrapped around the child's throat. She did not squeeze, but simply held her there. All it would take was a thought, one brief moment, to bring those teeth down on her slender neck.

“What about her, Prince of Earth? If we are such animals... would you feed her to the dogs?”

Human fingers combed through that long, pink hair, one sharp nail leaving a bright red scratch across the girl's cheek. ”Sssssshhhhhh,” she whispered, “Don't cry, Princess, daddy will save you.”

Gianfar had seen the psycho b***h nega general charge at the prince and he had tried to run to his aid along with the others, but there were just so many obstacles. He had managed to fight off another lieutenant when he turned to check on the prince, relieved to see a rather lovely princess had saved--wait what was he doing?! He was so shocked to see the prince offering up a princess as sacrifice that he didn't notice the punch coming at him until it connected with his cheek, sending him flying into the water with a cry of surprise.

He couldn't even come up with anything to say back to the lady who wanted to be catwoman, too shocked to see someone who was supposed to be on their side just...selfishly sacrificing a princess who had just saved his life. She didn't...she didn't have to save his life. She could have let someone else do it, or just let him fend for himself because he was the prince. Serenity's prince. What was he thinking?! Gianfar frowned deeply and glared up at the lieutenant, seeing his hat floating away again. "You knocked off my hat." He huffed, pretending he didn't care about anything but the hat for his own sanity. "Honor." Gianfar said under his breath, standing up and holding up his fists. Though he didn't look like he was ready to attack...he looked...defensive.

Gianfar was going to need all the defense he could get considering he was going to take all of this girl's hits without hitting back even once, forcing her to feel her own hits for the next three minutes.

"Stupid ******** lamp." She muttered beneath her breath, trying her best to continuously support her cousin and fellow senshi while looking for his blasted lamp, Her fingers had almost found the hitch; had almost gotten it loose from where he kept it when something, some thing ran into her ankle.

Corvus shrieked as it screeched, nearly dropping Arsinoe as she tried to stomp on the disembodied hand only to miss several times over as it skittered away. If she had been paying more attention she might have tried a different sort of counter attack, but as it was it was clear that she'd had other things in mind.

"Damn it." She cursed again, something she could clearly pull off like a sailor (an actual one, not just a scout) when struck by the right mood, it seemed. Fingers snatched Arsinoe's lamp, pulling it up to hold out for him. "Make this attack count, Arsinoe... And then I'll find her. I'll find her and the others.. But you're going to get out of here. Just make this attack count."

The Ineffective Princess. It was going to be her epitaph wasn't it? Chibimoon hadn't even thought to consider where Endymion had come from, what his purpose was, was he even really her father? She hadn't bothered to open her magical senses to feel him out and now she was afraid to do even that. Why was he giving up Chronos? Maybe he didn't know that Chronos was her cousin!

But...but that shouldn't have mattered. Chronos was a senshi. Not just any senshi either but clearly a princess. Why would papa do something like that? There was no time to do anything but stand on the steps next to Helios looking like a startled deer in the headlights and hoping that no one would come over and expect her to do much other than be utterly bewildered and afraid.

Fear, however, could quickly turn to outright terror. Tanzanite was nothing if not utterly impressive for all that she was an evil Negaverse monster who had to die. Chibimoon could admire her for the leader that she was while at the same time loathing the cause she worked for and the things she did. Hadn't she eaten someone before?

There was no time to do anything but squeak out a breath of fearful surprise, then a shiver of pain as a claw cut a line down her cheek to bleed down. Spots of red ran slowly onto the shimmering white bodice and nothing was now sacred. It had been a long time since she had seen blood on white. "I won't cry. Not for you." Ruby eyes never left her father.

Daddy would save her. Wouldn't he?

The frilly boy hadn’t responded to the taunt, which was somewhat disappointing. Instead, the boy Senshi seemed the most concerned about his hat of all things. Good to know what this Senshi’s priorities were; didn’t mean that Mica was going to drop the Prince subject though.

Speaking of, Tanzanite had gotten a hold of the Moon brat. Good for her.

“ Think your Prince at least has the balls to save her?” Taunted Mica with exaggerated sweetness, nodding her head in Chibimoon and Tanznite’s direction before aiming a kick at Gianfar.

The sight of Tanzanite's arm severing from the impact of Chronos' crown made Ares' breath catch in her throat. How was it... so easy? A mixture of jealousy and rage crinkled her brow. The senshi had planned to fight in this battle, but not as she normally did. She wanted to watch Endymion. She wanted to learn everything she could in this battle. If he was here, if he was back, then she might have to deal with the repercussions of it. Would she lose cadets? Would she lose ground? The Blood Moon Court had just became legitimate, and now this Prince and his shiny crown were showing up out of nowhere to ruin anything.

It would not be tolerated.

Still, when Birhan -- loyal, devoted, powerful, practical Birhan -- went charging after Tanzanite, Ares could not stop herself from supporting her team mate. "Birhan, I'm on your left!" she called from behind her, taking off at a run. There was no way Ares would let her comrade face Tanzanite alone, not ever.

Tanzanite was suddenly the number one destination in all of Elysion. Arsinoe, Zinkenite (Ares snarled), Juno, and Sassolite. Luckily for her, Arsinoe and Zinkenite were keeping each other busy, as were Juno and Sassolite. Suit themselves. Ares bent around them and ran closer toward Tanzanite.

Her move to attack had taken her close to Endymion, close enough to hear his words. If she hadn't, Sirius showed up to report just a much -- a model cadet. "WHAT?" she bellowed, nose curling in rage. Was Endymion trying to get Chronos killed? Ares had no particular warmth toward the Leader of the Zodiacs, but she was firepower on the senshi side -- firepower that they desperately needed. Ares wasn't about to see anyone get her killed.

"Confusing your loyalties again, are you, Endymion?" she shouted, whipping her torch at her side. If he was here to kill senshi, then Ares suddenly gave a s**t. A couple of them.

Gray eyes flickered to Siruis. "Stand on guard, cadet. We CANNOT trust this Prince of Wavering Loyalties." Wavering loyalty? The thought disgusted Ares.

But she wouldn't see Chronos killed. "Ares Smothering Blast, Power Up!" she shouted, adding her own potent, choking, burning, hallucination-causing smoke to the mix, a wide circle that centered itself over the place where Tanzanite and Zinkenite stood.

Then Tanzanite was gone, and Ares saw her reappear near Chibimoon.

WHAT IN THE ******** ******** WAS GOING ON?
PostPosted: Sun Mar 06, 2011 11:43 am

It wasn't that his priorities were out of whack; Gianfar truly was forcing himself to worry about the hat so he wouldn't go crazy trying to figure out what the prince was thinking offering the zodiac princess as a sacrifice to the general. At the shrieking scream Gianfar winced and covered his ears, completely forgetting that he was being attacked. "I don't think any man, no matter how foolish, would just let his flesh and blood be taken." Gianfar muttered to her, turning around in time to be hit with a side-sweeping kick to his side. He was smart though, he didn't retaliate. For now he merely grunted and stumbled through the water, trying damn hard not to fall to the ground. Damn, she had quite the kick!

Sirius stood by Ares as she screamed at the man and as soon as she had her orders she moved so that she could be closer to Endymion but not too close. She would be on guard alright she would watch him like a hawk. She could fight at the same time but it seemed the senshi outnumbered the nega's anyway so in a way she wasn't too bothered by the fighting. If it came to her she would fight, otherwise she was going to find out one way or another who this guy was and what side he was suppose to be on.

Sirius was slightly shocked though at the sudden movement of Tanzanite she suddenly had the pink haired princess around the neck? Sirius didn't care much for the princess she had little reason to but this was just getting confusing. She stayed where she was though, close enough to the strange man that she could hear anything that was said. She heard Tanzanite's words and honestly wondered whether he would try and save his so called daughter or not.

She could attack, though her attack was more of a defense and it would trap Tanzanite with the pink haired princess and she didn't want that. She didn't want any senshi dying, the man she couldn't care less about and Tanzanite, well she knew what she was capable of. Sirius just stayed waiting for a moment to protect the one whose life really was in danger.
