They're lying,There's no way else to explain how Rath was able to control Kaito like that. Kana thought. Kana and Chi-chi stood up. "Yay carnival time! I would love to. Chi-chi said taking Kaito's hand. Kana looked at Chi-chi and smiled at how happy she was.

***** "Carnival. Carnival," Nana and Mimi chanted as they skipped out of the dining room and out the front door.
Kaito lifted Chi-Chi with relative ease up onto his shoulders and smiled at Kana. "Come on or we're leaving you behind," he chuckled softly as he followed after nana and Mimi. *****

Kana followed them. "I'm coming." Kana said with a small smile. "Yay, carnival time!" Chi-chi chanted.

***** After reaching the carnival Nana and Mimi turned around and smiled at Chi-Chi and Kana. "Welcome to the carnival!" the giggled in unison.
Kaito smiled lightly as he glanced up at the ferris wheel and then back down towards the many booths in front of him. He almost jumped backwards when a clown popped up in front of him, but remained still as he remembered Chi-Chi on his shoulders. The clown tied a little mouse-head shaped balloon around her wrist before giving Nana and Mimi a balloon as well. He shook his head no when the clown offered him a balloon. "So where do you want to go first, Chi-Chi?" *****

"This carnival is the biggest I ever seen!" Chi-chi said excitedly. Chi-chi looked at the balloon on her wrist, "Awesome." She said with a smile. Kana stood next to Nana and gave a dirty look at the clown for not giving her a balloon. Then the clown gave Kana a balloon. "Hmm..The Ferris Wheel!" Chi-chi called.

***** "To the ferris wheel!" the twins shouted in sync running ahead of them.
Kaito frowned at Nana's and Mimi's childish behavior. He then smiled as he lightly pushed Kana in front of him and Chi-Chi. "To the ferris wheel it is then," he murmured softly as they headed over towards it. Nana and Mimi were already inside one of the booths albeit waiting for the other three to get into one of the booths. Kaito lifted Chi-Chi off his shoulders and placed her gently on the ground. "Ladies first." *****

"Thanks Kaito." Chi-chi said with a smile. "Want to race?" Kana asks Chi-chi. "Sure!" Chi-chi said. "Ready...Set......Go!" Kana said starting run. Kana and Chi-chi were neck and neck. Kana then let Chi-chi gain speed. Chi-chi then ran in the both and beating Kana by a half a second. Kana and chi-chi both took a seat in the both. "C'mon Kaito!" Kana called. "T-t-t-t-today junior!" Chi-chi said teasingly.

***** "Move it or lose it, Kaito!" Nana growled watching Kaito step into the booth.
Kaito shuddered slightly as he sat down in one of the seats. He flicked Nana off as the guy closed the booth door and started the ferris wheel. His gaze was straight in front of him as if he didn't want to look out the window in which he truthfully didn't want to. Carnivals weren't exactly his cup of tea, but he knew that coming with the girls would make them happy and so he forced the happiness he showed at the house. *****

Kana shook her head slightly when nana spoke. Kana smiled a bit when Kaito flipped her off but looked else where acting like she saw something else funny. She looked at Chi-chi who was looking around in awe. Kana then looked at Kaito. She figured he was putting on a act again but she wasn't having a great time either. She tried not to show it and kept looking out the window. She wondered if Rath would try to hurt her sister or herself with out Nana or Mimi's consent. She couldn't stand him but she knew she would have to keep her cool.

***** Nana and Mimi were giggling in their booth while mentally talking to each other. Mimi frowned slightly at Kaito staring straight ahead and glanced at Kana. "Talk to him. Ask him what's wrong. This is like the fiftieth time he's just stared off into space, but he just tells us that he was thinking."
Kaito finally shifted his gaze out the window as his smile flickered slightly. *****

"What's so funny?" Chi-chi asked, enjoying the view. "Look how high we are." Chi-chi said smiling. Kana first thought she was losing her mind when Mimi talked to her mentally but then it dawned on her. Nothing should surprise her anymore. Kana then looked at Kaito. "You okay Kaito..?You seem a bit out of it." Kana said glancing at Mimi and back at Kaito.
