When Tanzanite's hand clamped on Ares's mouth, the senshi was sure her face was about to be eaten off. She hardly expected to be forced to make out with it. The tongue forced its way into her mouth and then kept moving, stabbing down her throat until she began to sputter.
Left with no other option, Ares murmured, "Ares Smothering Blast, Power Up!" Granted, to Tanzanite, it would sound like, "Mmahrees, smovveringth bwast, powah oop!" The result was the same. The hands that gripped Tanzanite's wrist exploded with magical smoke, covering both of them in a blanket of the black stuff.
Ares was immune to it. Tanzanite was not.
The orca seemed to give zero ******** about whatever they were doing on his back. He just kept on swimming straight ahead. Like a champion.

It was a rather silly way to have a reunion. Deff something they would talk about later about green whales rainbow roads and lisa frank leopards.
The two opf them soared into the air for a moment before landing back onthe giant hunk of rock. Fayalite landed in a rather disgraceful manner, right on her a**. She was not so sure about Moonstone.
"be my guest if you have any ideas either. I think all these rainbow fumes are eating the brains of everyone here... they are singing and im shocked no ones attempted a dance solo yet."

Scylla landed hard, almost losing her footing, and spared half a glance behind her to make certain of who else was coming. Ares and Tanzanite had fallen, and for some reason... Scylla was okay with that. The Orcas made life shiny, shimmering, and inside her she could feel the kind of bubbly happy that came from her power. The air was still chill, but she was adjusting. She thrust herself forward again, racing for something she couldn't define. If she closed her eyes, she could pretend the cold was the sensation of water. In this place, she didn't ache, and her ribs didn't hurt the way they should. Still, she didn't want to close her eyes for long. She closed her ears instead and kept running, away from Tanzanite's screams, away from the sound of Ares...
Could she do it? If Ares died here-- and this made Scylla start to slow, start to turn, since she'd been so hurt here last time-- would Fallon ever wake up? Behind her, there was a pack of people, and Scylla felt the urge to just keep going. Would it be betrayal?
She kept running.

More like hold onto the whale, Sheldon mused for a moment before the Orca sent him on his way and back running on the Rainbow Bridge of happy colors. Okay then.
"Uh, hi," Sheldon greeted back to Sinon in surprise. The girl kind of reminded him of that senshi of peppers he had encountered way back, but with pants. Chaps more specifically. Wow, these people had such weird outfits.

In a normal state of mind, Zircon would probably be questioning her sanity, battling amongst rainbow-shaded comrades and enemies in yet another dreamland. Perhaps she would have felt tired from previous battles, her mind heavy with the thoughts of daytime. It's inevitable that she would have sighed and muttered something about the minds of today's teenagers.
As it stood, her number one priority was getting through this race as fast as possible, and without even the slightest hesitation, she made her jump into the ocean...
And straight on the back of an orca, racing to the other side. In a normal state of mind, Zircon would be questioning the presence of the orcas in the first place. However, as it stood, she patted it on the fluke briskly, pointing to the other side. "Faster!" Did she even speak whale? It didn't matter: she had to be first.

Pandora took a moment to double check that her mask - in perfect condition rather than the battered and nearly-ruined shape it had been in previously - was securely fastened to her belt before reaching out to tug Fayalite back into action: they had to catch up! Later, when they weren't 'galloping' along in Lisa Frank Land, they could talk about what happened...shake their heads and vow to never buy Lisa Frank again! Not that they had in years...Pandora hadn't purchased (or been given) anything of the sort since she was six! Ten at the oldest.
"I don't know, but we can't let those senshi bastards win another area! C'mon, we can catch up and take a few out!" Moonstone's eyes were bright, her cheeks flushed with excitement; just thinking about helping tuck another victory under the Negaverse's proverbial belt filled her with a savage glee and made her fingers twitch. Oh, how she had remembered the feel of that gangly male senshi's flesh yielding to her blows!

Orcaite was indeed a champion, and he swam like no orca had ever swum before.
Meanwhile, Tanzanite's face was full of thick, black smoke once more. This time, there was no running through it.
“Are you ******** kidding me?” the General roared, forced to shut her eyes again the thick, burning cloud. She ripped her hand from the senshi's face and pitched backwards, scrambling over the slick surface until she could just barely begin to see.
“Cheap tricks won't save you for long!” Tanzanite screamed. They were trapped there, and eventually the senshi would run out of aces to throw. And when that happened, it would just be a matter of brute strength.
They both knew who would win if it came to that.
Of course, it wasn't going to come to that. Because there were suddenly lights, and she wanted them.
Oh how she wanted them.

Fairy lights! They were everywhere. Janus just wanted to catch them all. He reached out his hands and began swiping at as many lights as he could.
He felt sure that this would help him win. Somehow.

Then, without warning, the orca bounced her back up toward the island.
At least Dioptase wasn't screamng like a little b***h all the while this happened, though as she was shot in mid air there were....
Lights.
Very, very pretty lights.
And mon dieu, she had to catch them alll.

W-what...?? What was this?? Were those fairies?? Or were they just lights??
Captain Alumo continued to run, but he couldn't help but notice how close some of those lights were. If he just reached out, then maybe... maybe he would be able to catch some of them?? He could see others around him doing it as well, so why not join in? It couldn't hurt, right??
Without dropping his weapon, Alumo jumped as high as he could, reaching out to grab as many of the lights as he could!
Oh? Was that Lieutenant Moonstone he saw? He didn't realize that she'd even joined in until just now. Hmm... It was good to see she was doing okay, at least.

Nemesis stopped running, because the only thing that could pull her out of her mindless task was something better, something more fantastic. Nemesis knew that if she caught enough of those fairy lights, everything she ever dreamed of would come true.
She would no longer suffer from a plague of idiots! Tears would have welled up in her eyes, if she was the kind of person to actually cry from happiness. Since she actually didn't cry, instead she jumped around, trying to gather as many of the lights for herself as she could, and <******** the person who got in her way.
Not literally.
But, you know what she meant.

Castor was still running. Still singing, flipping Tanz the bird as she rode on her gay Lisa Frank Orca.
Gay fish EVERYWHERE.
And also gay lights. "s**t SON." Castor was sure he's wake up covered in glitter at this point. Glitter and god knew what else. "I am never eating at that food cart again". Grabbing out at the lights, Castor reasoned that they would be awesome gay projectiles.
This whole play was gay. And honestly, he kind of loved it.
