Though Noctis had a moment of sheer panic, in the end, he breathed in and out steadily. Not to control frustration, but to allow the oncoming laugh to fade away. Of course she'd take it wrong. Supposedly you couldn't get as close to a girl as you could with your male companion. Or so, that's what Noctis' friends use to do all the time; stupid crap. Crap that made them look homosexual or so. Either way, his friends ignored the remarks and pointing fingers, which didn't necessarily include himself. Noctis usually tried to pretend like he didn't know them. But now he realised, it didn't matter. So what if he decided to fall apart in front of Claire? Let her think what she may. Claire felt awafull for betraying Noctis like that and not even helping so she quietly said “the road to hell truely is paved with good intenions...I`m sorry Noctis I only ment to help.”

Noctis laughed light heartedly. He rubbed the back of his neck, his eyes gleaking with sudden child's play."You helped in a way. By saying what you said, and watching Jaclyn's reaction, it referred back to the friends I still love so much... they were stupid, delirious, and downright childish. But their behavior was what kept me going. Moral is... I don't even know why the Hell I was trying so hard to impress her. It wasn't love, but if it had been, Hell would've began afterwards. I mean... I was a Prince with a distaste for Princess'. I think wannabe Princesses are far more worst. She's one of them misfortunately." He murmered quietly, his burdens somehow fading with his confession."Now that I think of it... her stuck up attitude makes me want to throw up in tinfoil, fold it up, and eat it just to throw up again." He commented. He had gotten that saying from one of his friends. Oh, the memories.

Half way through the clearing Jaclyn fell. She even let out a scream of frustration. She couldn't walk right for once. She was the most ungraceful person in the world. She just sat down on the ground in defeat. She wasn't going any further without a broom at this rate. She pulled her knees to her chest and started to cry.

 Saix was about to say something but only says "Saix feel bit re..." as he pause's because of the petting, he then gets around to saying it Saix feel bit responcible because saix see bad thing happen but not do anything because saix was unsure if thing bad... he looks at the ground as he seems to think about it...

Noctis paused in his contemplation on Jaclyn to look at the crestfallen Saix."Don't beat yourself up about it. It wasn't your fault in the least. Plus, Ivan eventually gave her back... to the tree." He added as he glanced back at Jaclyn. The last thing he wanted to do was to deal with whatever she had in store. But... it could be an injury. Eh.

Claire laughed at that comment glad he wasn`t mad at her and said “Well at least now you know why I don`t like her” Claire said to Saix once again in a mothering tone “hey its not your fault you tould us what was going on there was nonthing more you could do.”

saix looks up with a sort of 'wide eyes' look, Saix know's... but Saix has much to learn for Saix is still called young... he then looks at claire then at noctis

Jaclyn didn't move from the spot. She was just too upset to move. It was like she had been played with like a mouse to a cat again. She hated the feeling. She just wished she didn't have to feel it ever again. She really was starting to hate all men. The girl wiped her tears away long enough to say something. "You know I can here you. Why don't you come over and say that to my face." She yelled

Noctis sighed unwillingly, his nerves being raked by the soft crying that emitted from Jaclyn. He thought that maybe he should apologise. But at the same time, he knew later on she'd just get mad at him for something else."You'll learn as you go along, bud." He told Saix. His eyes diverted to the side as he thought about actually saying it to her face."I would, but that just seems rude and unruly." He subtly yelled back. Though he hated raising his voice.

Noctis glanced at Patches, Saix, and Claire. Maybe none of them were as close as he was to Promptus, Ignis, and Gladiolus, but... it was a start. Eventually, he'd see them as family just as he had seen the others. He still saw the others as family. He kept in contact with them every once in a while. They'd never be replaced, he'd vowed to that. But... Claire, Patches, and Saix could fill that empty void. Even if only one of them were actual flesh and blood."In a small way... I love you guys." He commented almost involuntarily.

Jaclyn wasn't afraid to speak up at all. She was loud and proud of who she was. "Doesn't matter. You're already rude. Coming and saying it to my face wouldn't be any ruder." The girl yelled at him before turning back and pulling back to her knees.

With a seconds thought he walked over to Jaclyn, and standing over her he spoke."Look, rude I may be, but you aren't any better. You carry yourself around with pride, which is a good thing, but you take it to the extreme and act arrogant. I insult you because you insult me. I've tried to ignore your comments of how much better you could strive than settling with someone as low as me. I've tried to ignore your constant looks of disapproval at everything I do. But guess what? I don't need to impress anyone with the likes of you. I don't know where the hell I stand exactly in your eyes, but I'm fed up. Go find another individual to torment other than me. And to think I actually liked you." He then finished, his eyes flickering dimly before he silently moved away from the mass he had been talking to.
