Rosa didn't move! She truely didn't see him being able to do it, maybe stop just at the second before the blade would come in contact with her, but not really try to kill her! But in that short amount of seconds it didn't seem like he was going to stop himself, and she wasn't going to move ether. That was when the small fire spell knocked into him. Rosa quickly turned to Palom, seeming slightly upset now. She didn't want anyone else involved! This was her battle, not the boys, not anyone's. "No! Please don't interfere Palom! This is my way...Cecil is my husband...I will deal with this. I will get through to him!" By this time, a faint sparkle could be seen in the womens eyes as her eye's were begining to tear up a little. "I won't lose you..." She said as she looked back to Cecil.
"Is it safe? I've seen so many people become...possessed by items, and things like this. I hope that you will be safe from any demonic energy that may carry within it. " She softly said, before nodding to his question. "I am..Thank you..Do you know exactly what is going on here? How can we stop that man and save our friend?" She of course, meant Cecil.

Shifts between the opposing strengths of Paladin and Dark Knight.   "Stay back. This is a fight for me, and me alone." Palom sighed in irritation "If I don't interfere he'll kill you, then be very depressed about killing you after he comes back to his own self to the point he more then likely kills himself, and I don't plan to lose both of you to that old fool" Oh yes, Palom thought things out rather well, he was much smarter then his sister thought, he wasn't the stupid kid he used to be... "Think about it Rosa, he's not going to relent, obviously or else he would have already""Do not be concerned for me..." Jin said, turning slightly away "I am half demon myself... I can handle such energy, do not worry" He said, then turned back to her at what all she said next "That is good..." He wasn't very good at this 'compassion' thing obviously with how bad he was at saying these things, it would be obvious! But he was trying, and he had been concerned over her since that demon wasn't a peon exactly. "Yes. Derrah's control, it is absolute and one cannot be reached by any sort of emotions as they should be able to when under his control, he has targetted several with this, and it has been the same each time..." He had been holding his sword in his sheath in his left hand as he always did as he spoke. "I will do what I can to help you. But you must restrain your friend if I am to be able to release him fully" With Jake he wasn't restrained in the slightest, so he couldn't fully release him... This wasn't an offer he'd usually make, he didn't know why but for some reason he felt he should be helping this woman and her friends...About this time Aslan leaped towards Derrah, as he had completely done away with his barrier for now, and slashed at him with Excalibur, but Derrah just grinned, laughing maniacally as he vanished before the sword hit him, back into the Devil's Tower where they wouldn't be able to get into because of the barrier... Aslan landed there grunting as he looked to the tower "Tch... Let him get away..."Golbez had summoned the powerful Shadow Dragon to aid him now, perhaps that would seem strange, but it was working for him here. As he became good, so too did it. Though the Shadow Dragon merely gave his form a new appearence and him more power, he swept his hand forward, kncoking Exdeath back a bit and soon raising high into the air... "TRANSCEND THE STARS!" He yelled as he used a Binding Cold spell to freeze Exdeath in place, and then used his Twin Meteor attack on him, both Meteors crashing into Exdeath with great force! Afterwards Exdeath fell to a knee, looking up at Golbez, and then let out a dark cackle! "This is perfect... MWAHAHAHAHAHA!" With that he too disappeared into the tower where they would not be able to enter... "It's because I have friends that I can fight!"

Rosa may have been a very elegant, kind and gentle person, but behind all that was also a stubborn, determined women who would never give up, she wanted to save him, for once. He saved her so many times, wasn't it about time she returned that favor? She crossed the desert all on her own, just to get to him because she was simply worried about Cecil so long ago! Then ended up getting desert sickness instead. All of her attempt to help him failed, and she hoped that this wouldn't. "...I know what I'm doing, Palom..Do you really expect me to give up on my husband?? I don't care what I have to do, or what it takes, I am willing to take any risk that I can to bring him back. "
Rydia nodded to the man, taking a moment to listen to his words.A soft sigh escaped her at his last words. "This isn't going to be very easy..Rosa wouldn't allow this, if it's any form of violence to restrain him..I can try a sleep magic on him, and hope that will work. " Even that would make Rosa angry, but it was better then just sitting it out and waiting to see what happened!

Palom shook his head "Stop being so stubborn, avoiding death isn't giving up on him, I understand your point, but thnk about it, he's not listening to you and that isn't going to change, looking for another solution when yours isn't working isn't giving up on him." He said sternly, trying to make her see this obviously wasn't working, and he was just trying for another solution! It's not like he was saying just kill him because he wasn't responding to what she said!
A rare grin seemed to form on Jin's face at that "Hmph. Perhaps you should use the sleep spell on her then" He mused, though it was only playful and joking, such a thing rarely ever seen in Jin, in fact he had never actually made a joke in his life really! None he could remember... He figured it may irritate her that he was joking however, so he then looked at her with a more serious expression... "It's not his subconscious doing this, his body is being used as a puppet for Derrah's work, a Sleep Spell would be insufficient, and I believe he needs to be conscious for me to help him..." He said, looking away slightly in case she was disappointed at that, it might get complicated if this Rosa woman was really so protective... "It's because I have friends that I can fight!"

"What do you suppose we do then? If it involves any form of violence against him or harm, I will not allow it! What I am doing hasn't reached him yet..but..I believe I can reach him.It might just take a little longer if that man's spell was as strong as it seems to be.." Rosa looked away from Palom, returning her gaze back to Cecil. Honestly, she was getting all the more worried. Why was it so strong that her voice, the one whom loved him more then anything on the planet,couldn't reach him? Love..should always over power any evil hold on ones mind!
The more she thought about this, the more emotions rushed through her heart and mind. What if this very conversation and Palom's interference was stopping her words from truly reaching him? Suddenly, without any warning or another word said, Rosa moved away from the boy, and...rushed over to Cecil as she suddenly just jumped up and wrapped her arms around his neck in another hug attempt! But this one didn't go so well as planned, instead balance was a difficult thing to hold with such a move as she knocked Cecil right on over to the ground as though she had just tackled him from the hug. Upon impact with the deck flooring, his helmet would be knocked off and rolled across the floor. With all that just happened in this very split second he might of been a bit dazed, just enough to give her one single chance to try the last thing she would think of to help him get control again. Rosa leaned down, kissing her husband there for a long moment, silently praying that the one most important thing would bring his heart and mind back, the love that they shared!
Rydia blinked at his apparent joke. He seemed far to serious to be one to joke, but she had to admit even in this situation it was a bit humorous, because it was true. In the end she might end up really doing that! Rosa was -so- protective of that man. She listend again to his next words, which caused a small frown upon her features. "I see..This really will be complicated..I might just have to do that. Rosa will most likely try to keep us away if she thinks you're going to harm him..."

Although, at Rosa's sudden movement, Cecil had next to no reaction time, and when she knocked him over and got on top of him, that pretty much knocked him into consciousness right there, so Cecil himself could begin fighting for control, and the kiss helped trumendously, to the point... She had beaten him with love pretty much! As soon as Cecil himself got control again, his eyes slowly shut, as he gave into the kiss entirely, laying there under his wife without showing any form of resitstance, then after the kiss parted, he smiled softly to her, setting his arms around her as he layed there... "Thank you..." He said quietly, Palom blinked, a puzzled look on his face as he watched the scene "Uh, ok wierd..." With that he just turned and began away again to let the happy couple have their little moment!
Jin smiled a bit, rare for him to smile as well! "Seems we've underestimated your friend, it feels like she broke the spell on her own, not an easy task for sure..." He turned towards the Enterprise, resting the sheathed sword on his shoulder there and sighing softly "The power of love never ceases to amaze me... I used to think such a worldly attatchment was a weakness, but lately I'm beginning to see just how foolish I was to believe such a thing..." "It's because I have friends that I can fight!"

Rosa never really answered the boy, his smart attitude wasn't something she wanted to really bother with right now! Her attention wasn't really on him at the moment! After she had tackled her husband down, and kissed him in her own attempt to break the spell, when the kiss parted she gazed down at him lovingly, her face softening into a gentle smile before she hugged him again! This time out of pure happiness! "Thank goodness! I was so worried, Cecil..Are you alright?" She asked as she slowly let go and carefully sat up, getting herself so she was sitting there beside him now,rather then on him!
Rydia's forest green orbs turned toward the airship, a surprised look on her own features at his words. "That Rosa..I knew she wouldn't give up. "She smiled at that, so Cecil was safe at least. That was all that mattered now. "I'm so glad, you know..I wouldn't have heard the end of it if I had to cast a sleep on her. " Mostly be Rosa herself once she woke up! Rydia turned again to the man there. "Some say so, but I believe she just may have proved that all wrong. Nothing is more powerful then the light of love in one's hearts. And if one thing is for certain, those two are filled with a beautiful and pure light."

Cecil sat up slightly while there still under her to also hug her back when she hugged him, then at her question, he thought for a moment, before speaking "...I am not sure... That man, he infiltrated my mind, I do not know what he was looking for, but he was searching for something, I don't know if he found it or not... But..." Little did they know he had found exactly what he was looking for, and that was the moment he and Exdeath both left back into the tower...He then looked to her for a moment, before speaking "That was some trick you preformed" he said, a bit playfully at that...
Jin nodded, turning back to her there "But if there is anything I know about Derrah-and believe me I know the sadistic man well-He doesn't give up, either he's achieved what he wished, or this won't be the last your friend hears of him..." He decided to tell her, though Cecil likely wouldn't be hearing from him again. With that he turned back to look at the Enterprise again... "How powerful can such a force be, of which you cannot touch, nor see?" A definate mystery to him seeings as he really didn't 'love' anyone as it was. Perhaps Desmond, but that was only brotherly love, he had never really experienced such a thing as love with another person... Nor would he probably ever seeings as women usually didn't like one with his personality, but he understood that, and he was sure his path would be a lonely one, but being as powerful a samurai as he was didn't come without an unfortuante cost, unlike Desmond he never had time to find someone he could think of in such a way "It's because I have friends that I can fight!"

Rosa helped him a little as he sat up, not that he really needed it probably! But still. She was always going to be there to help no matter what little situation it was. " We will never truly have a moments peace will we? I don't understand what his motives were, I'm almost afraid to find out.. " she said softly, taking his hand into hers. " Do you think.. They might be after Ceodore? " She was close! But not quite it seemed. At his last words, she managed a small smile. " It was, wasn't it! Dont scare me like that again!" She said in a more playful tone.
Rydia looked from the airship, to Jin again. She herself was generally good at advice but not quite with such conversations. "I didn't think it would be that easy. They never give up that easy. " She sighed at that. " I will wTch them closy, more so Cecil. Just encase. " The women smiled at his last words. " Love can truly be a wonderful and powerful thing when you find that special person. Even one as serious as you can! " She said playfully in attempt to lighten the mood.

"What could they possibly gain from targetting an infant?" He assured, trying to void the possibility of Ceodore's involvment, another idea came into the back of his head, but... He didn't want to mention that really, so he didn't... "Oh yes, wherever did you learn such moves?" He said, again playfully, mainly to change the subject away from such talk they had been speaking about Ceodore...
Jin nodded softly "Yes. Though I doubt he would, he never lets those he controls go so easily without gaining something..." He said, that was both good and bad in a sense, he would leave them alone if so, but at the same time he already got what he wanted... He nodded to what she said next "If he starts to act strange tell me, I shall do what I can" He said, that was assuming that happened, but if it did he would help... At what she said last, his eyes closed for a moment, then opened again "Such a thing cannot find everyone, I am living proof of that..." He said, holding his sheathed katana vertically behind him with both hands on the hilt of the sword... "It's because I have friends that I can fight!"

No, never mind, where is Ceodore now?" Cecil asked, hopefully she'd know or he'd have to make her go sit in the corner or something! Though she likely brought him on the ship when they came, or got someone to watch him at the mansion... "Ah, I suppose that makes sense, I would never have thought you could take me down so easily" He said, again just playfully, he had been under mind control after all! Though it was still bad how easily he was taken down by her!
"Perhaps... But if there is nothing to indeed fear then I should think that woman could do without the worry, if you believe he should know try to tell him in more private, when she is not listening..." That woman seemed quite the worrier when it came to her husband! "I will use some of my own demonic magic to counteract the possession, and counterattack Derrah's mind to cease his concentration if that's what you mean." Jin said to her question there. He began to slowly walk behind her when she motioned for him to do so, still holding the sheathed sword in his left hand as they walked as he always did. "...Perhaps... Though I once tried to stay at the Avalanche Mansion, but none there were very welcoming of me, I could tell I didn't belong there, and not a soul wanted me there, so I don't tend to stay there..." He really wasn't very welcomed, though he was once an enemy that technically wasn't his fault, to him that seemed the equivelent of blaming Cecil for being possessed! He had no idea why she apologized next, there wasn't any need for it, he was far from mad at her "I am Jin Wolve, it is a pleasure, Rydia..." "It's because I have friends that I can fight!"

"I hope that you are right.." She had some small doubts in her mind, of course as a worried mother. Then again, there wasn't a soul that could get to him right now. He was..in the safest place with many other skilled fighters. "He's with Aerith and Lucrecia back in the mansion, He should be safe there...right? With all the other's there, no one would dare go near.." She then paused a moment, looking at him with a slightly playful 'look'. "I'm not as weak as you thought, My dear husband." She leaned forward, surprising him with a quick little innocent kiss before she herself stood slowly, then held a hand out to 'try' and help him up!
Rydia nodded to him as she walked along the way to the Enterprise. " I will do that, then. It's best not to worry Rosa after all.I wouldn't want her to get into any trouble.. she tends to have a habit of that.." She meant that as kindly as possible! She knew Rosa very well and if danger approached her husband, then she wouldn't be far behind to do what she could to help in any way she could. "I'm sorry you weren't welcomed...maybe, you spoke with the wrong people at the time? Just let me introduce you, and I am sure they'll welcome you then. " As she reached the ramp to the airship, she glanced back at him again. "Nice to meet you, Jin. " Rydia smiled softly before turning back and heading on up the ramp.

Shifts between the opposing strengths of Paladin and Dark Knight. "Stay back. This is a fight for me, and me alone." "We should go there to be sure, though I am sure he will be, what ever were you doing anyway? You Rydia and Porom, where were you going?" Cecil asked, not really aware they were just exploring the world. At what she said next, he made an amused "Hmph" Sound before speaking "I will not dare to challenge you ever" He said playfully, returning the little kiss before standing, already halfway up before realizing she was offering to help him up! He just finished getting up himself "Oh, my apologies, did you want to help?" He grinned a bit playfully at that.
Jin nodded softly "Many women do" He said, of course that was only playful! He didn't mean to be sexist, it was merely a joke! "No offense of course" He grinned slightly at that, though the grin soon surpressed back into his usual neutral look. "I was once under Derrah's control myself, those that saw me under control still believe me evil for it, that is why I am not welcomed, I understand, and if that is how they wish to view me that is their choice, I am not the best of people anyhow..." Unisha definatly hated him it seemed! At her smile, he even smiled a bit himself, which was... Very rare for the samurai, though it soon went back to his normal look after he realized he was smiling?! "To you as well..."
Aslan had stood there for a long moment after Derrah had left, not really finding the courage to face Porom again, just stood still for the longest time with his sword in his hand. Though after a long moment, he glanced back at her slightly over his shoulder, then returned his head forward, sheathing the Excalibur, and beginning to just run in another direction, like he could face her... She now knew he was a freak... "It's because I have friends that I can fight!"

"We can head back now, as soon as everyone get's back on board. " She paused as to answer his question. " We left to look for someone that might be here in this world as well. Porom said she sensed another presence of one of our friends, She said it felt of Leonora's. " She watched him as he was already getting himself to stand without her help, figures! It was probably good, though. She'd probably of ended up falling over him instead of helping the moment she even tried! She was not a strong women! "I suppose you never do need it do you ? " Rosa just laughed softly at that, looking off to the ramp as Rydia came back on board, she also saw the other figure there not far from behind her.
Rydia playfully smirked to the mans words. "Is that so? "She rested her hands upon her hips. Uh oh! "I don't recall myself getting into much trouble, ever.." She wasn't counting the encounter with that creature that attacked here! But she probably could have destroyed that thing too! Rydia may have looked of a innocent, frail young women but she held great power with her black magic, and summoning ability.
Porom stood there, really not sure what to say. She was just mostly embarassed about the whole conversations they spoke of on the airship sometime ago. She told him all her feelings about...him! Without knowing it! When she looked back to him again, that was when she saw him running away. "...Aslan!...Where are you going!?" The teen suddenly took off after him, completely forgetting about the others! "Don't go!"
