Nana let out a soft gasp, she didn't even notice that she was gripping on to the front of his shirt. "B-but why? D-do you like me?... b-but why did you ask about Derick?...."

She then kind of looked at Dareck a little bit as she realized it was just self-defense stuff as she then just got up and sat down again as she then just held onto her arms almost like she was carrying a baby on the arm but it was just loose sleeves she was holding on to now. "Why....even help me?"

"Derick likes you, I can't go behind his back like that, and its......." Aarons voice trailed off because he started to do the one thing he hardly ever did, which was cry.

"Derick likes me..." was all Nana could say. But once she saw Aaron cry she felt sad, without thinking it over she grabbed him into a tight hug. Her damp wet hair pressed on hers and his cheek, as she whispered to him, "Don't cry... I'm here..."

"It was my last girlfriend, Dericks little sister, Maria we were out on a date, thats when it happened. I left her for one minute, one stupid minute, when I came back she wasn't there, but I heard a scream. I looked and found two guys carring her away, I ran after them and screamed for her, one of them shot me in the leg. I was in such shock that I didn't call the police or anything. someone finally noticed my bleeding and called the ambulance, but it was too late. They were gone" Aaron sad starting to stop crying

Nana looked at him cleaning away the tears, "It wasn't your fault Aaron, things happen for a reason... some are better then others... but you shouldn't blame you self for what happened...." she gave him a light smile.

Nana hugged him back just as tightly, "Wow the mood changed so fast... I was just nervous around you now I feel like I want to protect you...." she let out a soft giggle.

"Why would I go to Derick?" Nana smiled. "Remember I never stated I liked anyone.. but for some reason I feel like you do like me because of everything you just did awhile ago... am I right?" she looked at him calmly.

Nana smiled, "You're a good friend Aaron anyone would be lucky to have you," she lightly kissed his forehead and started to make her way back downstairs. "I'll make something for us to eat.. I'm sure you're hungry."
