Cinerea Obediently, Raku startet to walk briskly at Kibakichi's command. Amaya nodded silently. The patron obviously knew what to do, so she did not interfere. ((Yeah, that is correct... though, I think popping the reins is considered bad style by some instructors... dunno.)) (Alright I got it right.)

I tapped Raku a little harder, with my heels, and sent him into a trot, around the longier, slightly tugging on the reigns with my left hand. Seeing as I don't want to Raku to crash into the fence, ya know.

"Looks good so far!" Amaya commented as Raku trotted in circles around her. "You can also try some voltes and traversals if you like, so you get a feeling for his responses to your commands."
((About the fence thing: I know, horses are stupid... but not that stupid.))

I pulled Raku to a stop and said. Why thank you. I wonder are there any trails, through the forest, that I can ride on? Or maybe a straight? I wish to see how fast Raku is.

Amaya stroked her chin, thinking about the patrons request. "Indeed, there are several riding trails through the forest, including an obstacle course as well as several target ranges for bakyu-jutsu and jousting. There is also a stretch of even ground suitable for racing." She looked into his eyes. "But first I would like you to show me your skills inside the rink... if you prove that you can control Raku, or even better, steer him without reins which would enable you to use a bow, I will put a saddle on Gigi and go on a rack with you... but not tonight, I'm afraid, since the light is already fading. Does that sound good to you?"

"Tomorrow morning, if you like, yes." Amaya nodded. "Please don't be sad, but it is too dangerous to ride at high speed if the light is not good... now please, proceed if you like." She smiled at the patron.
((Rack = fun trail ride on horseback... don't know a better word for it... it colloquial english I think...))

I turn Raku and head to Amaya, when I get to her I dismount like I got on. Execpt backwards. I continue to hold Raku's reins and I bow her and say. I thank you for your time and patince. I will return tomorrow. I would be honored if you would join me for a drink, later.

Amaya bowed to the patron too. She yet had to see him try his hand at a gallop, but judging from what she had already seen, Kibakichi-san would be able to handle his horse. "Tomorrow it is, then. Thank you for the invitation, I would be happy to join you."
((OOC: The timeline of the lounge and bar thread has advanced a week compared to the stables, so it will be difficult to RP visiting it afterwards... how about making another appointment for a week later, then?))

Amaya bowed again to the patron's retreating form, then proceeded to walk Raku dry after knotting down the stirrups. "Whew, now I really really have to talk to Yuriko!", she thought as she led the gelding around the hippodrome for a while. After Raku was dried and happily munching his oats in the stall, she readied everything for the night, padlocked the stable and went to the cabin, looking for the stable maid.

Yuriko had just finished putting up the final dish into the cabnet as Amaya returned, she smiled and bowed her head. "Welcome back Amaya-sama. Is everything well?" She brushed a stray lock of hair back behind her ear. "And the guest? He um...vanished that day. I hope everything is alright with him."

Amaya rubbed her eyes. "I hope he's allright, too. His 'brethren' came and spirited him away, or so it seemed. They even left 'compensation' for us..." She eyed the bag of coins still sitting on the table as if it contained live vipers. "The horses are tended to, and we had another visitior... but you have already known, no? Oh, and I wanted to thank you for helping me out so much... I'm sorry if I bossed you around, but that was quite the situation we had there." She grinned lopsidedly, then wearily shook her head. "My, what a day! If you don't mind, I will retire for the night... oh... ummm... but before I do: is there still some stew left?"

Yuriko shook her head. "No do not worry about it, its my job." She smiled. "There should still be some stew left, enough for one more bowl I think, I had some myself earilier so I'm full." Yuriko giggled slightly before shooting a sly look to Amaya "You know that man? I think he is a bit smitten by you, Amaya-sama."
