Thomas sat down on the edge of his bed as they reentered the dorm. "Thanks for doing that, Kai. If there's ever anything you think I might be able to help with, give me a shout." He lay back on the bed, examining the patterns in the ceiling. "Quite a place, the school, isn't it? And have people really died on the mountains? Or is it just a story?" He adjusted the strap of his wristwatch.

"Yeah..." Thomas grimaced, "Horrible death, that's kinda on my avoid list right now, I'll remember that. Thanks" He yawned and stretched. "Right now however, regardless of any possible horrible death, I need sleep." He finished, crawling under the covers without bothering to undress. "Thanks again, Kai."


((Sorry, I kinda need sleep myself, it's just hit 4:30am ^^; I'll be back tomorrow at some point... or today, or whatever smile ))

Thomas woke slowly, fighting the tendrils of sleep from his mind. He sat up and stretched, frowning a little at the creases in his shirt, "Remember to wear night clothes tonight, Thomas" he chided himself. He stood and shuffled his way to the bathroom, contemplating just how much he hated mornings.

A few minutes later he was standing in the shower, enjoying the caress of the hot water on his skin. Thomas was not a huge fan of water, electricty and water are poor companions after all, but there were some instances he allowed it. After washing Thomas stepped out of the shower and toweled himself dry. He stood in front of the mirror, examining the tracery of scars that criss crossed the pale skin covering his lean form, not well toned or heavily muscled, but one that seemed hard none-the-less. He sighed and turned away from the mirror and dressed in his usuall attire before returning to the room. Sitting down on the bed he looked over to the slumbering form of his other roommate, Amberlyn he seemed to recall Kai calling her. "Huh, heavy sleeper. I guess." He thought, looking over at her.

Thomas looked up as Kai entered. "Morning." He yawned, standing up and following Kai into the kitchen. "How're you doing?" He lent back, hands behind him, against the cold stone of the counter top.

Thomas caught the can out of the air and cracked it open, taking a long draw. "Thanks." He smiled. "What classes do you take here?" Thomas glanced around the kitchen. "Or what do you do instead of going?" He grinned.

Thomas looked up with interest, "Your parents come here? Are they teachers?" He turned over in his mind the possibilities, looking curiously at Kai.

"Hmm..." Thomas frowned slightly, finishing his soda and digesting this new information. "Thats logical, I guess." He concluded, almost to himself. He crumpled the empty soda can in his hand and tossed it into the bin with a light, metalic clatter.

Thomas stood up, away from the counter. "I don't know what you're planning, Kai." The rougish grin returned to his lips, "But I, I shall be exploring"
