Gryffinclaw Quidditch Captain Sparrow was putting away her test and getting out some parchment for notes on the next lesson when she heard whispering behind her. She looked and saw Antoinette and Alex talking and she hoped Antoinette wasn't being a bad influence for Alex and she glared at them hoping they wouldn't do anything stupid.

Alex let her smile drop "um, i dont know, i guess we'll get detention, but that wouldn't be the best, maybe we should skip another class later, and we can stay for this one, here take a seat next to me" Alex said pointing to the empty seat next to her

Heart whips out a fresh piece of parchment, doodling a griffin on the newly titled page. She rolls her eyes at the Slytherin-Gryffindor exchange.

'I have an idea!' Kalle said, a smile spreading across her face. 'I shall bring in a griffin. That is set. However, I shall let you, the students, learn by asking you questions about griffins. Correct answers will receive points, incorrectly answered questions will be asked again,' she said. She began to quiver with excitement. One of her favourite creatures was a griffin, and she was unable to wait to introduce the students to a live one. 'One moment students!' she called over her shoulder as she raced off into the forest.

Gryffinclaw Quidditch Captain Sparrow listened to professor Kalle. Professor seemed very excited about this lesson, and Sparrow watched as she raced off into the forest. Sparrow then grabbed her quill ready to write anything that may be helpful.

Kalle returned with a large grin and a gleam in her eye. She called, 'Students, I shall now begin the lesson!'

Kalle was out to get Antoinette.
And Antoinette knew it.
"I won't let her get me." She assured Alex in a whisper.

 Kalle beamed and called loudly, 'Narquesse!' She waited for a moment, then averted her gaze toward the forest, from which a large creature was emerging. The rear half of its body looked like that of a lion, yet it had the chest, head and foreclaws of an eagle. It also had large wings that looked incredibly powerful as they gently swayed side to side with its movements. As it reached the students, it let out a fearsome cry. It shook its head and gazed at each of the students in turn. 'Does anyone know how large an average griffin will grow? Let me warn you right now that this is no average griffin.' Kalle said, obviously pleased with the griffin she had brought to class. He was young and strong, and obviously unafraid of human interaction. Meet Narquesse, our griffin!

Gryffinclaw Quidditch Captain Sparrow looked at the Griffin in awe like she had all the other wonderful creatures. As the question was asked sparrow racked her mind for an answer. She didn't think her recalled size was correct, but seeming as she wouldn't loose anything for a wrong answer she raised her hand. "I recall reading something, but i am not sure if it is correct Professor. Are they about the size of a lion, so about 10feet in length??"

'Very close Sparrow, though not quite. Does anyone else have any idea how long an average griffin's body will measure?' Kalle asked, searching the sea of eyes looking up at her. When Sparrow gave her answer, Kalle had thought it would be correct; unfortunately she was a few feet too small. Kalle nodded encouragingly in the hopes that Sparrow would try answering again. She did not want to discourage any students by saying they had an incorrect answer.
