The trek through the icy path was slow for Faint. Why? Because just when he'd gotten closest to the group, his tiger pushed out uncontrollably. It had been painful, and had taken a long time to change. The moments afterward we agonizing as the biting cold was more sensitive against his skin. It had taken him an entire day to recover.
Nontheless, he ran as much as he could the rest of the way, and managed to tumble to a stop just as he saw the group of students. Oh thank goodness! He'd never been so happy to see a whole group of students in one place before.
His fur was clumped and wet with show, his whiskers felt frozen, and his tail rings were so cold he wished he hadn't worn them. But fur was an improvement. A definite improvement. Even if he was afraid of how close his instincts were to the surface.
"I'm so glad I caught up to you guys!"

Watching the snowman's head roll off it's shoulders and collapse to the floor must have been the most satisfying thing Gabrian had ever seen in his long life. As soon as that was done though, the serpent's mouth closed, he choked and he fells back, collapsing into his coils, where he simply shivered and tried in vain to make his body stop aching.
It huuuuuurt, oh dear jack it hurt! It was the most uncomfortable feeling known to demon kind, he was sure of it. The bloody ground was so cold it burned into his skin. The scales were of little to no protection. Gabrian only peeked his head out of his coils after a few, long moments, where he turned to look at the fallen pile of snow; there, amongst the remains was a... box?
He slowly unwrapped his tail to curl it around the box, tugging it free and then shoved it into his bag, which lay forgotten on the ground beside him. When the nix turned towards his bag, he offered the Sack of Joy long, sharp glare, that would have set it aflame if he'd had the magical ability to, "Usssssseless sack!" that done, he tried to slither back to Alessa and the main group, all the while wincing at the feel of the snow.
He honestly hoped Quarria felt a whole hell of a lot better than he did right now.

Trira Strait Jacket Girl Trira Strait Jacket Girl Trira Damage from Yeti: 1 point. Damage from Quarria: 4 - 6 = 0. FAIL QUARRIA. (Don't get so distracted!) Quarria felt the arm smack into her body, but it wasn't like the yeti had done much; she was even still attached where she'd bitten. It was a good thing she had such strong scales. Since she didn't have any riders right now, the amphithere decided to do what any serpent could do in such a condition. Constriction time. The thirty-foot-long cord of dragon coiled for a moment, and then tried to constrict around the yeti and suffocate it or something to that extent. While she was doing this, the dragon couldn't help but say, even with her mouth still clamped to the yeti, "I believe you're the one who owes me peppermint points!"
She heard the rabbit announce her name, and Gabrian explaining who Quarria was, along with saying that he would take her up on her offer later, and not to get hurt. Even in the midst of this battle, his words had made her feel happy. Now she just had to kill this thing and be done with it. Apparently, she shouldn't be thinking about such things during battle though, as her constriction failed.
Quarria's health: 21 points. "Ha Ha Ha, Cousin, apparently your size does not mirror your fighting abilities" The Yeti grabs at Quarria to get her off. "I will get my points out of you." HP: 5Damage: 1: 2 - 6 = 0 points. (Quarria! Stop failing, you huge dragon thing!) "Neither do yours!" She snarled as she was pried off of the big fluff-monster. His pull had barely hurt her. "How about this, you beat me, you get your points. I beat you, I'll take the same amount of points from you, 'Cousin'." PSh, she didn't have a peppermint point to her name, but she'd definitely take his instead of another present. (She alread had one of those in her bag, anyway.) She writhed for a second, and then slammed her head upwards, aiming to slash him with her curved horns. Unfortunely, it was too far away for that, it seemed.Quarria's Health: 20 points. "All right cousin. You have a deal." HE wasn't too concerned with her and so he tossed her down. HP: 5Damage:6Damage from Yeti: 6 points. Damage from Quarria: Using her bell, this round. "Deal." She said about the peppermint points. Then, getting thrown shouldn't have really hurt. Unfortunately, she didn't crash into any snow, but into the rocky ground instead. She snarled at the yeti, but feeling a bit hurt, swung her neck a bit, to jiggle the Carol of the Bells. It activated and healed her by six points. There, at least she stood a chance now.Quarria's Health: 20 points, again. "THEN I MAKE YOU PAY UP!" Angered by your failure to pay up, it heaves a large rock...well....okay, lets be honest, it's a freaking boulder, in your direction. HP: 5

Strangely, it was Gabrian's movement that Faint noticed first. He was a serpent again, quite obviously. He frowned his large, furry features and lopped towards the large nix.
He was large, and likely heavy, but Faint was a currently-400-pound tiger with a bulk of his own. He knelt beside him. "You could wrap around me until Quarria is finished..." Faint looked at her and her battle worriedly. "My fur should be warmer than the ground. At least, I would hope."
Faint didn't even think to reintroduce himself now that he was feline. Hopefully it was obvious.

(( 6:53PM on the 17th was my entrance time, so now I shall begin my leave to Christmas Town 8U
To Beejoux and Ruri: sorry about the bit of godmod but I had been hanging limply for almost an entire day |D;; Just reuniting Hadiyya and Raum before I head off <3 ))
The Marid was quiet and so Corbin kept silent, as well. He wasn't sure if she was resting to recuperate or his comment had been unfavorable (maybe she was even enthralled with the battles all around them, they were certainly keeping him occupied) but he certainly didn't want to push this girl in any direction she didn't want to go. However, Aksaja alerting them that he was going to go scout ahead made the Wraith anxious; he had been dormant in the cold ice and snow for some time now, caring for the injured ghoul, and though he was eager to help he was also intent on getting this so called 'mission' over with.
Waiting a few moments after the dragon's departure, he turned to Hadiyya and his brow knit gently with curiosity. "I'm going to take you to Braum. I'm sure he could take care of you better than me," there was a lightness to his words despite the situation, something of a joke perhaps? It wasn't as though he doubted his ability in assisting the Demon but, to be perfectly honest, he didn't know her and that made things slightly awkward. She was well enough to speak and text someone, surely she would be well enough to stay close to Braum.
Lifting her carefully in his arms, Corbin scooped up Hadiyya as well as his shirt that was her makeshift pillow. In the mean time, he draped it over her head and shoulders as a small windbreaker in assistance with his wings which were pulled toward his front and nearly wrapped around her in a feathered embrace. If he had his powers, levitating toward the Raum wouldn't be out of the question but for now he was stuck with walking and so was she. Each step, he made sure to take the brunt of the weight and be a solid crutch, dodging them both around various rocks, crags and any stray snowballs that may have been sent by the rogue, mafioso snowmen.
What a place this was, really. You didn't see trees in Halloweentown lobbing flaming jack-o-lanterns at anyone unlucky enough to cross their path. ...Or did you?
Shaking the thought away, Corbin relaxed as he neared the Raum and whatever small group had formed around him and Iolanthe, waiting a moment before there was an open opportunity. "She's doing better but I'd like to go on ahead," he told Braum pointedly, giving the Demon an assuring nod. With a glance, it was easy to tell their numbers had grown and there were more people with Bells. As far as he knew, everyone also had their Pumpkin Pills so it wouldn't be as bad as some were thinking. That was his hope, anyway. "I'll leave her with you. Aksaja went off on his own, I'd like to keep an eye on him and see what we're up against." There, he released the Marid near the Raum, allowing her to either embrace the other crow or take a knee.
Offering her a reassuring smile, Corbin retrieved his shirt and donned it once more, not bothering to button it up just yet. A final look around at the others caused him a bit of worry but nothing too serious. Considering the trees, these attackers weren't exponentially worse but hadn't someone mentioned snow ninjas? Did people actually go to Candy Cane Lane even though they had been specifically warned against it? Well, lesson learned, he supposed.
With a mighty flap of his wings, Corbin was drawn into the frigid air and he glided his way further up the mountain path. Attempting to follow Aksaja's route would be tricky as he was unable to see the Dragon any longer, but he had a feeling he knew where he was headed. Down below, lights flashed brightly in all sorts of colors.
Christmas Town.

"Gabe!" When the battle was over Alessa took a good leap in his direction, which got completely botched as her body decided it didn't want to be a rabbit anymore. She barely managed to catch herself as she was suddenly left with just two legs and she stumbled a bit, almost falling over into the snow. Gosh, there she went again. It was Jack damn freezing in her human form. Sure, being a helpless rabbit sucked, but at least she was warm. And didn't have an awkward little tail poking under her skirt. Oh well.
When she reached him she leaned her hands against her knees, a little winded from the change and the shock of the temperature drop. "You...alright?" He didn't really look alright, so it was actually a stupid question. "You look awful. What was that thing you said? It's always as bad as it looks? I'm glad you got him though. I want to know what's possessing this snow."
She looked at the huge tiger, thinking it must have been a student since it had talked to Gabe like he knew him. "Oh, sorry, I'm Alessa...you came in at quite a time. I feel like everyone's fighting something. I wish they'd just leave us be already." If her other form was any indication, she wasn't a fighter by nature. Especially not physically.

She could actually see Kilo shivering now. It just made her feel even worse for him. There wasn't anything else she could offer besides carrying him, which as she said had its risk. And Jackdamnit was it getting colder the farther along this path they went? UGHHHH! LW glanced behind her and frowned again. "I don't really think it is applying to the living right now either." She informed him. Her own eyes widened when she saw him first trip over his own feet and then her tail knocked him the rest of the way over. LW just blinked at him for several blinks. The she-wolf all but busted out in laughter, trying to keep it in but that so was not working.
When she could take a breath that didn't have a laugh attached to it, she gave him a look. "So what if you ain't alive? You're a friend and freezing. 'Course I'm gonna worry!" The she-wolf smiled taking a step and was about to cross her arms but froze mid-step. Oh Candlejack! Closing her eyes her body seemed to almost fall to the ground, except it was shrinking and red fur was sprouting up. In a matter of seconds she had once again shifted to her wolf form.
LW sat down where she was and let out a howl of frustration. For all her frustration, the howl was soft and musical. Like the she-wolf could actually howl badly. It wasn't in her. Mini-wolf-tantrum over with, she looked at Kilo. "Oh don't be a baby! It's not like I would have bitten you or something if I carried you." She had heard the moan. "It was merely a nice offer." Because she could and her tail was smaller now, she batted him with it and gave a canine grin.
Listening to his explanation of why he had not kept the cape, she found his reasoning solid. And she didn't blame him. Her features held a slight mischievousness about them when no comment was made about being 'cute' with the cape. Tilting her head, she wondered if they could snag something off of one of the local residents that was more cat sized for Kilo? "Maybe we'll find something that is more suited for your size." The she-wolf shrugged but made a mental note to find something as she stood again. LW shook once to rid any snow that had lodge on her and sniffed at the air. They might have been catching up with fellow students.
Starting at a slow pace for Kilo to keep up, she continued dragging her feet so there was a 'path' for him to follow on. "I have no idea. We're probably in the middle of the groups of students or towards the back. And it is totally getting colder or we're losing it." She doubted the last so it was getting colder. "If you need a break to defrost, I'll carry you until my next shift." Otherwise, it was back to trudging through the snow. So fun!

The Reaper blinked, a little surprised that the boil had taken the time to join her. She certainly wasn't familiar with him, but they had traveled together on Candycane Lane and she figured that a quick name exchange on the death trip was enough to consider him an acquaintance at least. She smiled and greeted him, "Hey there, don't worry about going ahead. We shouldn't hold you back, really," she looked to the newly arrived Barth and pondered Raziel's question for a moment, Were there any more?
She didn't think there were.. though the worry that she may have actually forgotten someone felt terrible. Colette shrugged, "I think that might be everyone? I mean, I know a couple headed south." She would feel like a fool if anyone she knew showed up behind them, but that was honestly all she could say.
Looking down at the ground, Colette tried to come up with something to talk about to keep this freezing walk any less awkward or boring. She brought up the first thing she could think of, "Uh.. all this snow is great, huh?" She said it pretty normally, not sarcastically in case the boil actually liked the snow, and looked around awkwardly.

"It's as ridiculous as this school is." Vaith was brushing the snow off his outfit when Ren once again switched over, switching back on his knees. Was Vaith--? Yes. He was chuckling at the other's incessant transformations, hardly bothering to stifle his laughter.
"Well, at least it's not rabid elves. At the very least, I get amusement, even if you dragged me along." He stuck to that story because the way he remembered it, it sure as hell hadn't been a willing Vaith that walked obediently beside Ren.
"Ren, let's go before we lag behind the rest of the group. The faster we make it off this trail, the faster we can both get dry and get out of this hellhole." He advised, pushing the other along from his backside, forcing the other to pick up the pace. "I'm not so sure I can push you when you're in your gryphon form so pick up your lazy a** and walk yourself, ok?"

With a final snort, Faint rooted around in the remains of the snowman. He'd seen all sorts of loot come from these things. With some satisfaction he lifted his head and a box was cradled gently between his jaws.
It took a few moments for him to work his pack off his back - it had gone previously unnoticed with his bulk - and work the package inside. He'd come to recognize what a gift thumbs were. He was finally able to work the box inside however, and gently zipper the bag with his large teeth.
As he strugged to get the bag back onto his shoulders, he strode over to Gabrian and.. Alessa! Oh Jack. He'd had to run off for the snowman.
"I'm sorry. I get what you mean about the fighting...." He glared around unhappily. This was his first experience with battling, but he'd seen everyone else doing it quite a lot. "I'm Faint." He looked down at Gabrian and grimaced. "My offer still stands."

lizbot Kaze Taco Alwine wasn't quite sure when it happened, but she had neckplanted in the snow. Again. Only this time there was a LOT more snow, and it was a LOT more cold. She struggled up to her feet and looked around. It looked like none of the other Candycane Lane morons had arrived yet, though Alwine wasn't sure how that happened. Maybe Jingleberry had smiled upon her card and flung her in front of the others to meet her certain death faster. Oh, Joy. Alwine was awfully sick of it by then. "YOU HERE FOR TOUR?!" A grumbling voice asks excitedly behind her, "IT GREAT! YOU COME WITH!" Two huge furry arms wrap around Alwine to pick her up. HP: 7 "aaaaAAAAAIIIIIIEEEEEEE!!!" Alwine shrieked and flailed about. "I don't want a tour, I'm sorry!! I'm just trying to get through as quickly as possible! I'm sorry, please put me down!!" ((Rolling...))
