Draven didn't know what to do as the reindeer focused on the student. Things just seemed to freeze. It seemed to be eating his Fear. How were they supposed to handle something that did THAT?
Sudennly, there was a new face in the Car. This new blue person pointed at it with...was that a stick? and yelled at　the reindeer. Draven had no idea what he had yelled, but it clearly had no effect. Suddenly, though, the man changed out his 'weapon' for a blue orb....which seemed like a much better idea. Draven had blinked, and pretty much seemed to have missed what happened...other than a flash of light. Suddenly the reindeer was not the menacing beast it had been a moment ago.

Suddenly the newcomers attention was on teh student who had been paralyzed, and he started barking orders. He seemed to change his mind quickly. Though Draven could see that he seemed to know what he was doing, as the student he was helping was already looking better.

Then they were asked, 'What happened.?' There was a moment of silence, and then a few folks started rose to the challenge of answering.
"That was about it," he said gesturing to Alerick to show he agreed. Draven wasn't sure if he agreed with all of the other student's story, though it was interesting. Accurate, too, about what had happened inside the train. "We tried to fight it..." it was clear how well that had went, though.
Another student asked the new face who he was. Now that was good question.

Junko watched as an unfamiliar adult came in and cast some...weird...spell that made no sense. And nothing even happened. What was supposed to happen? Was it supposed to die? She blinked and just stared at the professor, tilting her head curiously. It was actually rather comical! Though honestly all Junko wanted right now was her shoe back. Throwing it had been a bad idea. She gasped and covered her eyes at the flash of light, only peeking open again after a moment when it all got quiet. Wow...it...it was gone!

What happened indeed! She would have answered if everyone else hadn't done it instead...but was no one going to do as he was asking of them? He asked for a blanket and hot tea! Unfortunately hot drinks and foods were not things she carried around, mostly just snacks that she could feed Her in a pinch. Junko excused herself from her group for a moment to reach up above them, standing carefully on her seat so she could reach as she dug around in her bag for her coat. She was smaller than a boil but it would do, right? Hopping down from her seat Junko then hobbled over to the professor and the student, her walking uneven thanks to only having one shoe, then offering her coat to the professor. "Will this do? You can drape it over his shoulders." Junko frowned and glanced at the holly and bells. "I thought reindeer were supposed to be nice?"

Poor Eracs just stared as the events went down. What could he do anyway? Oh thank god that thing was finally gone! Who was this new guy then? "I think he looks nice enough, I mean he got saved us all right?" He smiled.

The scarecrow retrived his hat finally and put it back on his head. He sat back down near Alerick and Draven. "There were suppose to be more adults??"

"What do you guys think are happening in the other cars?" Did their teachers go missing too perhaps.

Christof panted, still huddled behind the seats with his new friends as it seemed they had been rescued. Finally! He had begun to wonder where in Halloween their professors had gotten to. As each student barked an explanation to the professor, Christof crept forward, trying to make sense of it all still. Hoping people were still distracted, he elbowed his way through to quietly remove his lost hand from where it still was skewered on the skull of the ornamental display and shove it in his pocket for later. At the very least, Scruff would want it to chew on again anyway. What sort of monster made the place look more festive once it died by biological design? That's what he'd like to know. What it wanted to do with THEM was beyond him, and so he was content to quietly wait for someone to come up with an explanation.

Vaith heavily suspected something was up with that professor. He was absolutely sure that the professor was busy.. doing.. other things. As to what that might have referenced? Something illicit. He stared suspiciously at the man's back and at the space left behind during his absence.

What a loonybin. Perhaps, if he shouted out that ridiculous spell and stick to other cars, something might dropout of the sky to help him. Or he could stand there.. dumbly. Like he had done this time.

Something.. fell?

Vaith lowered his body, his feet up and knees bent, he looked .. at something shiny? Slowly, Vaith eyed the object, extending his hand out in an effort to reach it.

"Well that was helpful." Jamais muttered watching him run off. "I don't think the Gnome summoned the Killer Raindeer thing though." She looked at the others curiously. "I mean he was hurt by something anyways."

She shook her head thinking. "Soooo... what now?" She looked around at the others, "We stuck here?"

"Zat vas ridiculous." Johan stated, having taken his seat while the other students attempted to explain the fiasco that was the past few minutes. The Professor, who didn't seem all that capable at magic (really, what was that spell he'd tried?), had the decency to save the boil whom the reindeer had targeted, but galloped off, leaving them to face any other shenanigans the train wished to throw at them alone. Again.

In the fight, another student had thrown a book, resulting in more pages being strewn about, and the contents were now hopelessly mixed up on the floor of the train. Giving the remains of his reading material a mournful look, he noticed the hunchback retrieving the hand once again. Why was it so important to him? Did he fancy hands? Speaking of hands, Johan glanced over at the undead ghoul with the backwards wrists. If he remembered correctly, she had actually been rather effective in the fight, unlike Johan.

"You are unhurt?" he asked her.
