((Can you really ride the summon's like that in that game? ))

The wind rushed through his hair as Fenrir sped through the plains. The faster he went, the more his thoughts could be eased, unheard by the howling wind in his ears. He had no real destination to be going to, though it seemed his beloved motor bike had it's own mind as to where it wanted to go.Cloud's fists tightened around the bars, twisting it just a little more to speed up all that much faster. The horizon ahead of him was now filled of many trees on ether side of him as the Fenrir about flew through the path! Soon, the white soft glow of many more tree's began to come into the mans vision as he began to press on the breaks in which the bike would start to slow down. Fenrir was not you're typical bike, but very quiet. The engines almost gave off a soft humming like purr before finally skidding to a stop, a small cloud of dust being kicked off the back tire as it stopped. Letting it run for a few moments longer, Cloud slowly switched off the bike and pulled out the key, a gloved hand reached up to slide the goggles off and let them rest on the bars. "......." As though he had never even realized what he was doing in the first place, mako-blue greens scanned the area before he slid a leg over the seat, and standing. "Why am I here?" He asked himself quietly, Cloud Strife, a puzzled young mercenary stood aimlessly as his eye's would drift off to the skys above him..

Remygius hugged hier knees to her body, watching the still waters in front of her. She had isolated herself from society because she had always hurt people. Her powers could never be in control. She hated herself. She was a monster. Anima lay by her side snugly as she buried her head in her arms. She gripped her upper arms tightly, but then her head snapped up at the sound of a motorcycle. It was unnaturally quiet for one, but she hadn't been forced through experiments to become a perfect fighter for nothing. That included enhanced senses at well. But that wasn't the point. The question was, who...would come out here? It wasn't named Forbidden City for nothing. No one came here. That's why she chose it. It was separated from society...where she couldn't hurt anyone...where no one could hurt her. She gripped Anima's hilt, and got to her feet. She took on a defensive stance, eyes focused on the surrounding, pure white trees warily. "Who's...there?" She called out.

( You can ride them to endure more pain on the monsters in battle. ) ღLightning ☆ "Lightning. It flashes bright, then fades away. It can't protect. It only destroys." Something had pushed Lightning out of the doors of her mind and back into reality. She heard two different sounds nearby: the sound of a vehicle skidding against the soil and a woman's voice. Her left eyebrow perched slightly as she tried to stand, but forgot that Odin's head was mounted upon her lap. Odin... Slowly, she removed the creature's head away, planting it softly on the ground. The Eidolon didn't cause a commotion, which was a miracle on her part. "I'll be back... " She whispered, then pulled her Omega Weapon from it's holster. The sound of her footsteps were silent and swift as she traveled through the pathway of trees. When she saw a dark figure in the distance, her heart immediately reacted with an unusual shock. Her right hand was now located where her heart should be while she stood in perplexity. "Why is he here... " Step by step, she was becoming closer and closer to the man's back. Once there was a distance of about 5 feet between them, the Omega Weapon found it's way to the back of his neck, barely. "Cloud... is that you? Your answer will decide what my weapon does next... " The hand that was holding the gun-blade began to tremble slightly. This world... really is making me weak. It would've been a dilemma if the figure was facing her, though with their back turned, they couldn't see her quivering.

( Clouds getting ganged up on by girls. Run away Cloud! ))

Cloud was normally also pretty good at sensing things nearby. But, his sense were a little off, not to mention his hearing. He could almost still hear the ever so faint roaring of the winds in his ears after traveling so quickly as he tended to do when he needed to get his mind cleared. Then, he heard a faint voice from somewhere in the tree's. Unable to pin-point the exact location. Cloud was then surprised once more, though his face didn't show it as he felt the presence of a weapon near him. It may not have been directly touching his neck, but he could definitely sense it. There then came that voice that instantly brought a faint calming his his already stricken nerves. "Lightning. " He said, ever so slowly turning his body to face the women, as he did he showed no signs of hostility with his hands, they just remained there at his sides as his mako blue green eye's came to rest on the womens icy blue ones.

( Hey, Cloud brought Lightning here. wink ) ღLightning ☆ "Lightning. It flashes bright, then fades away. It can't protect. It only destroys." It is him... The unusual thumping of her heart against her chest once again became relevant. Lightning ignored it while placing the Omega Weapon back in it's holster. Her eyes remained glued upon the ground as she thought of the words to say. Every now and then, her eyes will travel back to his, then look away. The structures of her fists were more revealed due to the tremendous pressure she applied to each one of them. Finally, she rose her head high, a hint of anger was in her voice as she spoke. "Cloud... what are you doing here?"

(( Lol. ))

Cloud's eye's drifted from her piercing icy blue eyes for a moment, as they came to rest on her fists. The emotionless expression on his face would soon turn to that of a concerned one at the sight of the anger it appeared she was in. She seemed to be having a hard time keeping her eyes to him as well. "I don't know..Did you want to be alone? " Maybe that was why she was so angry. He could understand, after all he did tell her at the cliff he wanted time alone. So it was only right he respected her time if she so requested it. "I' will leave you alone, as soon as I find out who else is here.." Though Lightning was most likely capable of taking care of herself, he didn't trust the fact someone else was here too. Someone he didn't know and he wasn't going to chance losing someone else.

ღLightning ☆ "Lightning. It flashes bright, then fades away. It can't protect. It only destroys." "I... " Lightning was now having a hard time with her words. A part of her wanted him to get out of his sight, though the other needed his presence at bay. It was too complicated for words to describe the war in her mind. Within a split second, without even thinking, she shook her head back and forth then turned away. "Stay." Dammit, Lightning. A slow sigh escaped her lips as the palm of her hand slammed against her head. "I mean... I'll be able to take care of myself. I've been doing so since I was 15. I'm not going to change now." She shifted her body to glance back at him with a dull expression. The war in her mind continued to rage on. "I have my Eidolon here, by the way, sleeping by the lake... if anything happens, he'll be the one to save me."

Cloud shifted a little as he stood there watching her, So much of how she was acting, her gestures and expressions reminded him so much of himself. He knew there was much more going on in her mind, more she wouldn't say to him, just like he himself refused to speak of his own feelings and troubles. He never wanted to burden anyone with his. And it seemed Lightning was doing the very same thing. Cloud shook his head softly. "You can't alway's rely on.." He paused suddenly, did she say Eidolon? He only peiced together it meant some sort of summon. "..summons.." He finally said, looking toward the lake to see if he could spot it out from where they were currently. " If you don't mind... I will keep watch. This place is sacred, I would rather not see harm come to it. " Cloud did see this place as a sort of special area but at the same time, his mind was really telling him he was trying to make up some story so that he -could- stay without looking as though he was watching over her.

ღLightning ☆ "Lightning. It flashes bright, then fades away. It can't protect. It only destroys." Lightnings' eyes followed his own towards the lake. She could see Odin before the edge, sleeping peacefully. It must had been a long time since the Eidolon got a chance to sleep on the planet's ground, instead of deep inside her chest. In Cocoon, if an Eidolon was spotted, then that was a sign a l'Cie was nearby. A sign that Light wasn't willing to risk, though Snow was the complete opposite. The image of the Sanctum Soldiers chasing after Snow faded from her mind and back to the scenery of the Forgotten City. While holding her hip firmly with her left hand, her eyes glanced back at Cloud. "Sacred? I can see why... this place must know your every thought, huh?" She asked with a tad bit more emotion in her voice.

(( Sorry for the slowness, was making some ramen. Lol. Gosh it's spicy. *dies* ))

"That..is different. Is that Odin? " He asked her, he seemed quite curious of the creature sleeping at the lake. They seemed much different then the ones he was used to. His eye's came to rest back onto Lightnings own at her question. "It may. I come here sometimes, just for that reason. " For a brief moment he had thought about showing her the area some. But then again, as beautiful as the place may have been it didn't hold good memories for him. And they both didn't quite need that. "So,Why did you come here?"

( Blah! Ramen + Me = Severe Tummy Aches. ) ღLightning ☆ "Lightning. It flashes bright, then fades away. It can't protect. It only destroys." Lightning nodded her head to Cloud's question about the Eidolon. "Yes... that's Odin. He's my closest friend here." Although, the question that got her the most was his last one. Why am I here... She crossed her arms and began to walk towards the lake, trying to find someway to get off the subject. It wasn't that she didn't want inform him, she just didn't quite know the answer herself. "I have an answer... " Her words began to speak through her lips. "... I have more than one answer, actually." She gazed back at him with her icy aqua eyes meeting his. "Would that be a problem? ...If so, you can always retreat." A silent chuckle was heard as she attempted to hide it with the back of her hand. "I've done so much running away... I don't think I can anymore."

Remygius did not like this. Voices...they weren't supposed to be there. They were too close. She let Anima drop beside her, and she sat down, covering her ears with her hands. "Go away..." She muttered, shaking her head. She could hear that they were on the opposite side of the lake, and she counted herself lucky that their sight of her was obscured by the white building behind her. She needed to keep hidden. To avoid hurting anyone. "...Please go away..." She whispered. Anger took hold of her. This was all Hojo's fault. That damned scientist!

(( Really? O.o Dang. Never thought Ramen could do that to anyone. It's alway's so light. ))

Cloud watched her a moment longer, before he too began to follow after her.His steps were slower then normal, as to make sure he didn't wake the sleeping creature there by the lake. It was probably very defensive with Lightning, not that he was afraid! He just would not want to fall onto it's bad side. The young dark clad man moved over to a large rock in which he sat down at not far away from where she was. "Closest friend..I hate to break it to you..If you go back to the mansion, you'll have a lot more friends..." He said, there was a form of rare playfulness in his voice. That was possibly one of the reasons he avoided it. To many people there! And he suspected she would have felt the same way. Cloud's mako blues rested onto her own, his expression somewhat softening from that static, expressionless one. "No, I'm..not going anywhere. " He said, listening to her last words that seemed to strike his own heart. She was like, his twin. Both tormented by reasons not so well know to ether of them yet. And both trying to escape there own troubles.. "..Tifa.." He began.." Always told me not to run..that she was there, everyone was there for me. It took me to long to realize it was all true...I think, maybe..We both should listen to her words. I can't let those words be for nothing.."

( > > Not for me. Gah, slow response. The page just froze all of the sudden. ) ღLightning ☆ "Lightning. It flashes bright, then fades away. It can't protect. It only destroys." Lightnings' eyebrows rose in the mentioning of his former love. Cloud must of have been on his road of recovery, quite possibly. Whether or not, it didn't matter to her, or so she told herself. She nodded in agreement with Clouds' words, or Tifas'. "She... isn't the best person to disappoint, hm?" She lowered her head to gaze into the water of her reflection. A sound in the distance caught her attention for a split second before she couldn't hear it's voice anymore. Right now, her thoughts were just spilling out like a waterfall, and she couldn't control them. "My dad always ran away... because of that, he was too late to save my mom." The sound of anger was becoming more relevant in her words. "I hated mom... I hated both of them, for being so weak. They both died when I was 15, after that... I changed my name to Lightning." She realized millions of speckles of light in the lake which was only a mere reflection of the stars in the night sky. The stars were unlike the stars back in Bodhum, due to the fact it was considered the city of lights. Although, that city was now long gone, a part of history. "Lightning. It flashes bright, then fades away. It can't protect. It only destroys. I thought that by changing by name I could become stronger and forget my past." She looked back at Cloud with a small smile planted on her lips. "But then... I would be running away, wouldn't I?"

Remygius let her hands drop. 'Running away...huh?' She reached for Anima, hooking it to the holder on her lower back. 'That's...exactly what I want to do. Always have. Always am. Guess I...can't be anything better.' She started to get up, but a familiar feeling inside her caused her to stop. The feeling of blood-lust. The instinct that Hojo had planted inside her to create the perfect child Soldier. She needed to get away. Without bothering to be quiet now, she dashed off from the lake, not without some splashing, and into the further sanctuary of the woods. She knew that there was no way the two others didn't hear her now, but she didn't care. Even if she didn't know them, hurting them was the last thing she wanted to do.
