Xylara sighed as she looked around the tribe. She understood that Marius would want to go off and check on his father, but he had kinda taken off without her and now she was at a loss of what to do. The tribe was bustling with activity and she seemed to only be in the way so she remained in the background. Watching everyone she cocked her head to the side and tried to learn as much as she could. Foxes seemed to be curious about her but were keeping their distance and that was fine with her, in fact she preferred it. She wasn't used to being around crowds so all the foxes was a little daunting to her. Eirene swooped down to the ground and shook out her fur. It was so refreshing to fly that she had to do it at least three times a day. Smiling to herself she looked around and noticed the red vixen that was off by herself. She had been ready to go over there and introduce herself but then thought better of it. The vixen looked a little overwhelmed as it was, it was up to her brother to do the introductions anyway. Smiling at all the other foxes around her, Eirene looked for the two that seemed to escape her sight. "Where is my brother now? Horus!" She called out but was met with no answer, "Hm....perhaps it shall be easier to find Amatsu then?" She smiled at the thought of her mate, it was still so new to her but it was something that gave her great joy.

Amatsu let out a big smile before quickly tackling his mate and licking her cheek. "You said my name?" He stated with a happy tone. He had gone first to check on Kaname and found his friend rather sick and had immediately gone back out to find his friends son. Marius was able to give him the herb and Kaname was now busy creating more medicine. As he knew from experience not to try and push Kaname in to taking it he began wandering around and seeing who exactly he was sharing his new home with. Of course Horus had seemingly forgot to mention how busy it was going to be. Kaname coughed a bit and walked out into the sun light. he needed to transfer some items from one temple to the other and then take his medicine before Amatsu sat on him. The cheerful phim would do it in front of everyone too. It was then he caught a vixen standing there looking rather stressed out. She looked like the female Marius had told him he was bringing to introduce. "Ah are you Xylara?" he asked in a soft calm voice.Persephone smiled widely and reached over giving her mate a quick nuzzle before handing her a container. "Its good to see you made it Rit, although I am afraid your timing is a bit off. We're getting prepared for one of those sand storms I was telling you about. Come you can meet two of the tribe members and we can get water. You dont mind terribly if I steal her away before you meet her do you Heru?" she asked titling her head to the side. Horus chuckled and shook his head. Persephone had told him on her last stint out she had gotten a mate and they where coming but with things being the way they where he trusted his head scribe. "No problem. Lots of water is a good thing." Marius titled his head to the side and looked at the vixen in front of him. he had met her once... well more like he had been out with Akori and Akori had talked with her. Seeing that she was there caused a smile to appear on his face. "dont worry. Its a tribe guardian it was about time for Kemet to get one. It means you no harm. Are you looking for Akori?" he asked. "he should be some where in the temple or documenting narbles again." he smiled.

Jumping slightly she looked over at the phim, one that so resembled her beloved Marius. "You must be Marius' father....You look just like him." She smiled at him weakly. "Um yes....My name is Xylara....It is a pleasure to meet you Sir." Xylara tilted her head to him, "I heard that you were ill...I am very relieved to see you up.....Marius was truly worried about your health....Your son....he loves you very much." She blushed slightly, thinking this was just such a weird conversation to be having with him.
"Eeee!" Eirene giggled as her mate tackled into her, knocking her to the ground. She smiled at him and nuzzled his neck before kissing him back. "I did say your name love...and you came...flying?" She giggled as she nuzzled him again, not being able to resist it. He was just too.....fluffy. "I did not expect you to find me so suddenly." Eirene kissed him lovingly then managed to stand up, "Oh Kana...." She chuckled at the nickname, having only by coming to the tribe found out that Kana wasn't a female. "How is he doing? I was told that many of the tribe's fox had fallen ill."

Ion blinked it took a moment for her to realize that the male was speaking to her. She blinked swallowing hard and tore her gaze away from the lizard creature. “That protects the tribe?” She asked wide eyed. The mention of Akori made her relax a bit. She nodded nervously. She looked at the stone work temple with some longing. Still it wouldn’t do to just run toward them since this was to be her tribe as Akori’s mate. “I’m Ion. You look quite a bit like Akori, are you his brother?”
Rit smiled and giggled a bit at Persephone’s nuzzling. It just felt so wonderful to have a mate, and such an affectionate one at that. “Sorry I did not come at the most opportune time. Still I would be help you get ready.” She smiled from ear to ear and nodded at Horus as he gave his permission for her to accompany her mate. It felt odd to have to refer to another for direction and permission, still if Persephone did than Rit could learn to do the same. Taking the container Rit waited to follow Persephone to gather water.
Rynn grunted. Well there goes the neighborhood. It seems like everyone’s mates are here but mine. Rynn scowled looking down at the sand grumpier than ever. She coughed again and looked back at Persephone and the other purple phim doing her best not to frown and frighten off the new tribe members. “Ladies shall we get going? I think we should get some water before the storm hits.”

Marius watched Ion's reactions with a bit of a amused tone. She must have had some trouble with the crocodiles. it was common especially when new in the area. You didnt know how to watch out for the dangers they possessed. Anyways she must have gotten out of it okay. Perhaps Akori had even pulled off a rescue. "yes each tribe normally gets one when the modeities think they are ready that one is apparently ours. Hmm come to think of it when Horus is done perhaps I should go say Hi. After all it will be here a while" he pondered the second half mostly to himself. "Pleasure to meet you Ion." he smiled tilting his head to the side. he supposed he looked like Akori. They had similar colors and lace patterns. "Yes I am Akori's older brother" he stated almost slipping that he was not the only older brother.
Persephone smiled and shook her head. "Its perfectly fine. After all the important thing is that you came right." Persephone stated smiling. She looked over at Rynn and then at Horus hoping that soon Rynn's mate would come too. Horus had told her that might have been the case. She could tell the smaller orange vixen missed him. "Dont worry we're ready now Rynn" she stated nodding and gathering her own container considering she had given hers to rit. " she quickly walked towards her destination not bothering to fly just yet.
Kaname raised an eyebrow wondering slightly if Xylara thought he was going to eat her. he briefly wondered what exactly his son had told her but shook his head. Perhaps she hadnt seen a phim. No it wasnt like they where nearly extinct. Maybe it was meeting the whole father syndrome. "Yes I am his father. No need to be afraid of me or i think in your case more nervous. Its a pleasure to meet you as well. Welcome into the family." he stated chuckling a bit at Marius's reaction. It was just like the boy to get all worried. He had said he was fine. of course this thought was followed by a rather nasty coughing fit. "ah yes I know. Well I take it you are looking for him?"
"Yep why not. I'm not doing much else other than making sure that Kaname takes his medicine." Amatsu stated. "Probably getting ready to sit on him. Of course there are soo many new foxes to meet I do admit I have been getting sidetracked. Ooh there is even a tribe guardian here. he showed up just recently. Ah well a few people seem to be sick Kaname's sister in law is sick, Kaname is sick, um jaci and Rynn are sick?" he stated trying to remember everyones names. "But hopefully with the medicine they'll get better soon"

"I'm not afriad of you..." Xylara puffed herself up as she looked at him. She didn't want him to think of her as too weak for his son, "Or nervous...I'm just....not used to being around so many foxes...." She looked around. "I mostly just wander around....Until I met Marius....And well..."S he blushed as she looked away. "I didn't want to wander anymore....Mm!" she rushed over and looked at him worried, "You shouldn't be laughing if you're going to cough like that." She chastised him. "In fact you shouldn't be up at all right now. You're still sick, and need to be resting." She pointed at him with a paw, "I insist that you go back to bed this instant. I will not have you getting any worse on my watch." Xylara looked at him stubbornly.
"I take it that he is the type to be stubborn and not take his medicine." She giggled and watched her mate. "Sitting on him...that sounds like my brother...A tribal guardian....I didn't know that....I have never seen one of those before. How interesting indeed." She nodded her head, then cocked it to the side. "Oh no...I had no idea that so many of them were sick." Eirene frowned. "I was gifted with the powers of a Shaman Amatsu, I should be out there healing people not standing around here. Could you show me to the nearest sick fox? I can whip up the herbs. All you have to do is crush up the herb and soak it for a half hour. Taken orally it cane take affect faster." She nodded her head, "It has been some time, but I feel that I can do some good here." She smiled at him.

Jaci looked back to see if Rynn and Sephy were following, noted the giant gaggle of new arrivals, and paused. Then she mentally gave a shrug and pushed on. They'd follow when they got a chance.
Raz stared at Anubis a bit longer, then sighed. "Let's get going then," he said, and began to trot out of the temple. He didn't really even want to think about the stride difference, and how he could have a ten-minute head start and the Guardian could still keep up easily.

“Well first I think it would be best to check in with Kaname see what everyone has already taken. There might be a shortage of herbs or you want to make sure what everyone has already taken. It would be bad to get too much of something that it doesn’t work or makes the patient even worse.” Amatsu pointed out. “Ah yes Kaname is the stubborn type. He wants to make sure that everyone else is well taken care of before he dare even thinks of him self.” Amatsu gently nudged his mate over a few steps until the building before them moved out of the way and pointed to the black tribe guardian. “See that’s ours. So I guess best thing would be to hunt down Kaname right?”
“Mmm I see” Kaname said with a slightly smirking smile. Most of the time this nature wasn’t seen by the tribe but he would blame it on being absolutely miserable. “well Kemet is friendly but we also bite in a welcoming manor of course” he answer cryptically. She was definitely easy to read. “Ah I know where you are coming from you meet a special fox and then you suddenly find your self with a home and a tribe.” Kaname rasied his eyebrow a bit at the sudden ordering tone he was faced with. Marius sure knew how to pick them that was definitely certain. “I would love to but I am afraid at the moment that is impossible we need to get ready for a sand storm and I have to take care of the others, at the moment I am the only full trained Shaman. However if you would like to help me for a while to make things go faster I can allow that” he stated.

She looked at the pot and straps. "Alright. Well see you out there!" Fyra slipped her tail through the straps, holding it high enough that it wouldn't slip as she made her way back outside.
The vixen stepped out and looked around, trying to remember which way would have the most herbs. It wasn't fun with the storm coming and she was anxious to gather as much as she could. It gave her time to play and repeat stories to tell the kits, next time there were some in the tribe.

The perma was Raz? And a hunter? Anubis kept his face politely blank as he considered this. Considering they were in a desert, there probably wasn't too much large food to catch. Perhaps fish was the staple? In that case, the little hunter would probably be perfect for the job. Anubis blinked and stepped after the small form that was trotting away. Once reaching the kit, Anubis shortened his stride as much as possible to remain next to the tribe's hunter.
"What and where are we hunting, Raz?" Anubis asked. The kit walked with the purpose of an adult, and Anubis was not going to be foolish enough to be condesending or patronizing to the small perma. He had a feeling that the kit was more mature than his body showed.

Raz glanced sideways at Anubis, but didn't turn his head or break his stride to do so. He liked to believe he was well-adjusted to the realities of how small his body was, but next to Anubis it was impossible not to feel like a beetle. Perhaps that was why someone like himself was trapped in a kit's body; if he'd had adult male horomones going through his system he'd probably be inclined to attack any male that made him feel threatened in the least way.
"I don't know what kind of stuff you're used to hunting, but I'm going after burrowing animals," Raz responded, trying not to sound too rude. "Unless you wanna split to catch something suited to your size, the most you'll be able to do is help carry my kills." Yea, that probably went over into rude. Ah well, not like Thunder Paws couldn't figure out they had different styles.

Nodding satisfied with Persephone’s answer Rynn kept on walking. The sand between her toes reminding her of the grit in her fur and the stiffness of her neck. Being sick was miserable. Being sick with chores and having to lead around a gaggle of new people.. well that was just hell. Silently wishing for set to choke on an ox Rynn kept trudging forward. She had work to do and should lag behind just because she was ill.
Following the orange vixen that her mate called Rynn Ritilanishia was thrilled. Her mate was smiling and was happy as far as she could tell. This House.. no “Tribe” has many members in it. I am sure it will take time for me to adjust to this land’s cultures and nuances. Though with Persephone’s help it work it shall not take long. Being careful with the jug Rit followed Rynn’s example of balancing it on her back while holding it on her back. It felt strange. There was brightly colored kit also getting water with them. Smiling Rit wondered what growing up in the desert was like to the kit.
(She doesn’t know Jaci is a perma.)
“Ah I see. I’m so very pleased to meet you and find out that you’re nice. I was a bit nervous truth be told.” Smiling Ion edged around toward the temple keeping well away from the tribe guardian. Ever since her experience with the crocodiles she wasn’t eager to be around a large lizard, even if it was supposed to protect the tribe. “I’m going to go see if I can’t find Akori now.” Ion nodded in a friendly way at her brother in law as thanks for his help.

“Well I’m nice when the occasion calls for it, I don’t want to scare you off right when you are getting used to the family.” Marius stated. “Oh well then try over there, that’s the temple area he’s in charge of” Marius stated. Perhaps he should find Xylara he had sort of gotten separated from her, but he had warned her it might happen as he needed to get those herbs to his dad. Marius waved Akori off before disappearing himself.
Persephone quickly caught up to most of the group. They would eventually catch up with Jaci, and she probably could have if she really tried, as she had one of the larger strides of the group. Speaking of members she should probably prevent a slight argument between her mate and good friend. “Um I don’t know if you’ve met any before but Jaci isn’t exactly a kit. She’s a perma kit.” Persephone stated. “Raz is too, so just treat them as adults and everything should go smoothly.”
Okay so maybe that was a bit of a mean trick but might as well start him with that personality. If he did okay with Raz he would probably do okay with everyone else in the tribe. Giving a look of good luck to Anubis he turned to look at the rest of his tribe. Well everything seemed to be under control at the moment. He should probably go and meet some of the new tribe members at some part. Oh and wasn’t he supposed to be finding Hollow and Himeko.
"alright Miss Fyra, have a good day" He waved and went back to getting a container of his own. Well Ion should be there right so it was time to get out of this dusty old place, leaving the temple grounds he was surprised to see a lot of new faces. "wow things got busy" he stated. He quickly spotted Ion next to his brother and started up a light pace to reach them.

Himeko approached Horus with Hollow leaning on her side, her sick sister gave the Elder a brief glance before settling down onto her stomach in exhaustion.
"Do we have medicine for Hollow and the other ill members?" Himeko questioned, bowing her head to her Elder, tail wagging.
Hollow glanced at Horus, grumbling something defensive that sounded much like: 'I don't need nothin'.' However, she had grown to become part of the tribe, and despite her frequent snappy responses and beliefs that she was miserable in the tribe, Hollow had truly started to change. Though nothing could keep her tongue or glances in place.

Keeping her head down and focusing on the path before her Rynn stifled a cough again. Perephone seemed happy which was a good thing she supposed. Still it was hard to be happy for anyone when she felt so miserable herself. Why were all these new foxes coming around now any way? It was as though Kemet was a beach and foxes came and left with the tide. Annoying really.
Blinking Rit considered this bit of information. She had some notion of what a permakit was though she had never met one before. She nodded to her mates request and stored the name Raz in her memory for later. Perhaps she should ask Jaci what it was like to be a perma in a tribe. Still uncertain as to whether this would be a proper question or not Rit bit her tongue. She did not wish to start and argument in a tribe she had only just joined after all.
Seeing Akori Ion made a happy mewing sound and dashed off toward him. Skidding to a stop Ion didn’t want to tackle him by mistake. She couldn’t seem to stop smiling. Leaning in she nuzzled him while blushing. “Akori hello! How have you been? Your brother is very nice.” She didn’t tell him how nervous she was about meeting the rest of his family. That would only trouble him.
