She shook her head no, but just as she did, she reached the bottom of the jar. "Actually, bring back a pie on your way home? Berry would be nice..." She requested.

Len leaned over his wife to give her one last kiss before he left. He even rubbed her belly telling her that he was a bit excited about the new edition. He pulled away and smile. "I'll do that. I love you honey." He said before backing away and exiting through the front door.

Len came back to the apartment after work and brought home Abbadon with him. He found Ren still laying down on the couch. He brought his son closer to his mother. "Hey Donny we have something to tell you." He told his young son.

Ren cringed slightly. She wasn't really sure how her son would react to the news... "Donny... you know how Uncle Crave's my little brother? What about how your Lillie's little brother?" She started, letting Len speak.

Len smiled and pushed Ren legs out of the way so that he could sit down. He then pulled his son onto his lap. That way he was sitting with his family. He watched as the boy nodded. He smiled and held onto him. This boy was his prized son and he was happy to have in his life.

She really didn't know how to put it. "Erm... well... Uh... Len?" She asked, looking at him hopefully.

Len turned his son a little. The seven year old looked at his father. "Mommy and I decided that we want another baby so you're going to be a big brother." He continued to Ren. It was much easier with Lillie because she was older when Donny was born. Len knew that most of his peers were still single children or the youngest.

Ren nodded, quickly following. "That doesn't mean we don't love you anymore, not at all! In fact, you can help take care of the baby!" She said, smiling.

Abbadon turned his head at his mother and smiled. "I know." He answered. Len was pleased that their son seemed to understand even if it was just a little. Len got up and set his son down. "Well now that that is taken care of. I need to back to the office. Lillie said that she would be coming by soon. She wanted to talk to you." Len said before again leaving.
It was not long until the door was open again. Lillie had her key that her father had given her. She was part of the family so it would be weird if she just knocked, but that was family. "Ren?" She called out trying to find her teacher.

Ren was laying on the couch again, watching TV as she'd been doing earlier. "I'm in the living room." She answered, not wanting to move.

Lillie smiled as she was given a hug from Abbadon who had heard his sister arrive. Lillie gave a hug back before walking towards Ren. She took a seat on the extra chair. The elf girl smiled. "Hey Ren. Um... I was wonder how much longer would it take to complete my apprenticeship?" She asked almost getting to the point.

Ren thought for a few minutes before answering, "Tell you what: Make me a vial of Yggdrasil Dew, and I'll see if I can pull a few strings. I trust your father told you the news, by the way?" She questioned, propping herself up.

Lillie didn't want to cheat and do it too fast. "Ren I don't want to finish too fast. I have a little time." She commented about getting done. "Richardson didn't tell me anything." Lillie was starting to get worried a little.

Ren shook her head. "In order to be a licensed alchemist, you normally have to take a few tests, followed by a waiting period of a year for your license, UNLESS you get prior approval from an alchemist licensed for at least 15 years. I'm a senior member in the committee for approvals, so all I have to do is skip the tests and waiting period!" She explained, not seeing Donny walk up to his sister.
